Really nice bike ride and stopped at lots of interesting places, seeing crackers and tofu being made and also trying some delicious honey. Highly recommend for a trip outside of the city!

Nice bike tour that wil give you a look at the life of the locals. Near to pramaban so you can visit the pramaban tempel before or after the tour if you like.

Nice 2 hour easy ride around farming area , stopped and watched tofu making , nut cracker making and a native bee keeper . Guide spoke good English

We had a wonderful time during the cycling tour with Alga. He showed us around and explained a lot about the area, rice fields and temples. We visited three local businesses where we learned more about the making of emping, tofu and honey from stingless bees. We would recommend this tour to everyone who is looking for an authentic tour and great time!

When you are looking for a fine host and an exceptional biking experience around Jogjakarta and Prambanan, look no further. Algalova is a nice guide and with his own ‘travel agency’ (he learned English and being a tour guide all by himself) he wants to show his community the greatness and possibilities Yogyakarta has to offer. A new and truly different experience. We learned about Javanese culture during the class which was very interesting. It was also nice to see our shooting improve by the end of the session, which made it all the more enjoyable.

My brother and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Alga was very accommodating and suggested the best way to tour around Borobudur and Prambanan temples with the bike tour in between. Our driver throughout the trip, Jack, was very hospitable and even brought us to some other temples near the area. Aside from our actual tour of Prambanan and Borobudur, the bike tour around villages was a great way to learn about some of the local industries and a peek into the daily lives of families working in the local industries. The biker tour guide ( sorry I forgot the name :( ) shared stories about the history of these local industries and how Alga Tours helps by partnering with them. Overall, this tour really made our stay in Yogyakarta very memorable. Sharing some tips: - I did some research and eventually came across Alga Tours website which includes a WhatsApp contact option. I directly talked with Alga via WhatsApp ahead of our trip and finalized the tour. I think directly talking to the tour provider (I did since it is vetted in TripAdvisor through reviews) can end up with some savings instead of booking via online platforms. Note, this might be a case to case basis so better do some research. - If you prefer to avoid the intense heat, I suggest you visit Borobudur during sunset (book the last timeslot at 15:30). - The bike tour is best done in the early morning while the sun has not fully risen yet.

The ATV adventure was Amazing! So much fun and we learned a lot! Higly reccomended, Yulien, oír guide was the BEST one we had in our 25 days trip in Indonesia. He explained everything carefully and show us different interesting spots explaining and show us how the rice is made step by step.

The tour was well organised, not difficult (flat), and the equipment was in good shape. They guided our family (2 adults + girl of 18 + boy of 16) through the little streets of small villages where we saw different plantations including rice fields. We also met with locals producing honey (delicious and different from EU), crackers and tofu. The tour agency also sponsors the locals by teaching them English and trying to develop tourism across these villages to motivate young generations to stay in the villages! We did this tour in combination with a visit of Prambanan at 4.00pm to see the sunset. The whole family enjoyed.

By far this was the best decision I ever made while visiting Jogya. Riding my bike through the villages and temples was a humbling experience. The people here are very nice! I recommend this tour 100% if you are into biking and experiencing the local culture book this tour.

What a COOL experience! The company was very accommodating and quick to respond over WhatsApp. We arrived 30 mins late bc of various road closures close to the address but Bagus and the teacher still accommodated us. My kid, 9 year old son, had a great time, as did I. The archery teacher is also an artist and so the bows are beautifully handcrafted by him and the teaching studio is lovely. Bagus was our guide and helped facilitate translation….then went out of his way to give us a lift to the temple afterwards when it was clear we would not make it to prambanan otherwise before closing. Thank you!

We had a great time and would definitely recommend. This is a fantastic way to see rural Java. Our kids especially liked the stops underway: making chips from nuts, tofu, honey. Last but not least the cinematic backdrops make awesome pictures!
