        unforgettable journey
I had an absolutely unforgettable journey to Tibet with Tibet Vista, and I cannot thank them enough for the outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes and rich culture of Tibet. A special mention goes to our incredible guide, Tenzin. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about Tibetan history, culture, and Buddhism but also genuinely caring and attentive to everyone in our group. He always made sure we were comfortable, well-informed, and acclimatizing properly to the altitude. His passion for his homeland was evident in the way he shared stories and took us to the most fascinating places, many of which we would have never discovered on our own. The entire Tibet Vista team did an outstanding job in making this journey smooth, safe, and truly memorable. If you’re planning to visit Tibet, I highly recommend this company—and if you’re lucky enough to have Tenzin as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience!

Dorjee - my tour guide was always on time and helped with everything. He also had water & oxygen for me. I had 9 days private tour with cultural sightseeing and beautiful Namtso Lake . Hotels were great - very comfortable . We visited some monasteries and I learned a lot about Buddhism - Dorjee is very knowledgeable. He could answer all my questions.

Incredible Adventure in Tibet with Sonum
We had an absolutely incredible time with Sonum as our guide. A native Tibetan from Eastern Tibet, he was incredibly friendly and genuine and always in good humor. We felt well taken care of during our time - he even gave my boyfriend a birthday card! We really appreciated our time is Lhasa and Tibet! We would definitely recommend Vista with Sonum as your guide! We especially appreciated the insight into Tibetan culture - Lunch with a family, local restaurants, and observing the monks debate. :)

        Above and beyond
Despite the last minute changes that had to occur due to the earthquake, Tibet Vista took very good care of us and were communicative throughout the entire time there. Our guide, Sonam, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after. I would highly recommend Tibet Vista as a company to travel Tibet with.

        Great first trip to Tibet.
I booked a tour with Tibet Vista online, their staff was incredibly easily and quick to work with. They helped me pick good dates and made the permit process a breeze. They picked me up at the train station after I arrived in Lhasa and made my general travel very easy. The next day I met our Tour Guide Tsernia who was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She made touring Lhasa a great experience with a lot of new information learned. I highly recommend booking a tour with Tibet Vista, everything went as planned and was pleasure. I’ll be coming back again.

Very Happy with Tibet Vista service
I booked this tour with Tibet Vista since July 2024 but had to cancel last minute due to the unfortunate earthquake that occured to Tibet last week. Although I could not make it this time, I’m very pleased with the prompt and helpful advice by sales consultant Zoe Leung. Zoe also helped me to get my Chinese visa smoothly. I hope to be able to visit Tibet again and highly recommend Tibet Vista’s service.

        Unforgettable Tibet Experience
Our 8-day monastery and Everest Base Camp tour exceeded all expectations. Our guide Tserina was a true gem - her deep knowledge of Tibetan monasteries and culture brought each location to life with fascinating insights and stories. Her endless energy and enthusiasm made even the longest days enjoyable.Special mention to our fantastic driver who went above and beyond, even treating us to some incredible drone footage of our journey. The itinerary was perfectly balanced between monastery visits and the breathtaking journey to EBC. Getting to experience both Tibet's rich spiritual heritage and natural wonders was truly special. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the magic of Tibet with knowledgeable local experts.

Tibet Vista - Excellent guide and well organised company
We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 12 and 14. We chose a custom tour so we could move at a pace that suited us. We found Tibet Vista (TibetTravel.org) to be an excellent company to work with, 90% of this good impression was generated by our guide Sonam who was brilliant. He was thoughtful, funny, always laughing, knowledgable and had a true sense of "joie de vivre". His knowledge of Tibetan and Buddhist history is huge but he managed to explain things in a way that the dots could be joined together. He was obviously well respected by his peers and friends at the locations we visited. He also took great photos and videos for us! The transport was good, not a limo but suitable for what we paid. When planning the trip, the company was efficient to deal with and on our arrival went out of their way with welcome gifts at Lhasa. Overall we strongly recommend this company.

        Beautiful Tibet
Amazing trip well organised and paced. I would advise everyone to ask for the guide Lhakpa. Your guide will be your door to Tibet as he will be the one explaining each of the special places that you will visit. We can't recommend Lhakpa enough. So professional and knowledgeable but always can crack a joke to lift the spirits. Punctual and organised but provided flexibility for our group to change the itinerary to fit our needs. Thanks team!

        A pleasant journey in Tibet
I have expected to come to Tibet for long time. It is ongoing untill the appropriate time comes. I prefer to travel in winter season based on my preference. I went to many places located in Tibet as planned. Unfortunately, I cannot go to see Namtso lake due to weather condition. However, I and Tibet Vista arranged alternative plan, in order to go smoothly. Mr. Tashi, a local guide accompanied me throughout the trip. He gave me an insight of the places we went to, planned everything I need as requested. Moreover, he was quite enthusiastic to encourage me to know about Tibetan culture. I took a lot of beautiful photos. He also helped me get many good photos with great views. Therefore, I was very satisfied with the time spending on sightseeing in Tibet. If I have a free time, I will definitely come back again to see other tourist attractions in Tibet.

        A perfect trip
We heard good reviews about Tibet vista and decided to take on their overland tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu. We did a private tour instead of a group tour as we had an elderly on the trip. Emma (邓邓) from Tibet vista patiently answered all our queries before we confirmed on the trip. She was very responsive and settled our visa application timely. We were also given timely updates on our visa application status. Our guide's contact was given to us in advance too. The approved visa was sent to our hotel in China, overall a fuss free experience. Dorjee, our guide, is patient, knowledgeable and speaks very good English and Mandarin. He has been a wonderful history teacher. The trips to the monestaries were engaging and we have learnt much about Buddhism, Tibet's history and culture. Dorjee is also punctual, professional and took great care of the elderly. He would check with us everyday, first thing in the morning, if we have slept well and whether we have any AMS symptoms. He would then briefed us on the day's activity and timeless. He also thoughtfully prepared a traditional Tibetan wrap skirt to keep us warm at EBC. He is always ahead of the queues - the trip was well planned, well executed and visits/ check point clearance were efficient. We were super lucky to be blessed with good weather and a 10/10 sunset view of the Mt Everest on new years day eve! We were initially quite hesitant about visiting Tibet in Dec coz it can get really cold, but after this experience, we would definitely recommend visiting during the off peak season for the following reasons: - hotels and tours are way cheaper during lull period - Dec is dry season, and we were blessed with clear sky EVERYDAY. - the weather is very pleasant in the day ( e.g. 2 layers + 1 north face jacket is usually enough because the weather is dry and sun is strong). We were usually back in hotel before sunset, so didn't have to experience the extreme cold at night. Overall it was a pleasant experience with Tibet vista and we would definitely be back again! Bonus: Dorjee also knows all the good toilets along the way 😁

This 13 day tour is an incredible way to see a lot of Tibet's highlights in one trip and I would not hesitate at all to recommend it to anybody seeking to discover this stunning rooftop of our planet. The sights you will see all in one trip, from the buddhist monasteries to the up-close grandeur of Everest, Kailash, Gurla Mandhata and more, are unlike other tour you could think of.

Tenzing is an absolutely amazing guide, very attentive to all our needs and requests, and knows everything there is to know about Tibet, the places you see on this tour, the cultures and customs of its people, and more. He made sure we were all safe and comfortable at high altitude, and delivered the best experience we could have asked for. Likewise, our driver Norbu provided some great, comfortable driving, despite some of the longer days on the road. The lemon and ginger tea served was divine.

Thank you again Tenzing, Norbu, and Tibet Vista!

The tour started in Lhasa with an excellent chance to explore the city and travel to surrounding monasteries. There was a good amount of time to do things by oneself in addition to the scheduled group activities.

We then travelled to the Everest Base Camp where the weather was surprisingly pleasant with a magnificent view of Mount Everest. The tent was warm and served us hotpot for dinner.

Travelling to Mount Kailash, due to the long distances between towns there was a lot of time spent on the bus, but with a good number of stops to stretch, go to the bathroom or have lunch. The hygiene standards in these areas were not as high as in other places - outside of hotels, one must use squat toilets, with no washing facilities. Several of the mid-journey restaurants also did not appear particularly clean, and I unfortunately developed gastro which stopped me from participating in the Mount Kailash kora.

Our guide Sonam was very helpful and supportive while I was unwell and took me to the local hospital in Saga on our way back. He was certainly a 5/5 guide.

I chose Tibet Vista because they responded promptly to all my emails and seemed very serious.
Our guide Tempe was wonderful. He took care of us in a very competent, responsible but also human and joking manner. He always did his best to make us feel comfortable and accommodate our needs, especially those who had difficulties due to tiredness and altitude.
We felt very lucky to have him as a guide also because he has a long experience.
Tibet is a wonderful place and the Tibetans are a wonderful people who I immediately felt welcomed by and who have remained in my heart. I loved Lhasa and our hotel was in a fantastic location. The minibus ride to get to Kailash is spectacular. The landscapes are stunning. The Kora was a true inner journey full of depth and inspiration. If you feel the call to go to Kailash.... follow it!!!

Our organized tour across Tibet was amazing. We traveled from Lhasa to Mt. Kailash and through to Kathmandu. It was during Saka Dawa and was the busiest time of year to visit Mt. Kailash but out agency and our tour guide, Jigme, handled all of our arrangements very gracefully and were able to ensure our travel was in order. Everything was handled very professionally.

A few pointers for traveling to Kailash: it's a fairly remote place and one should lower expectations in terms of what is available, especially during the busy times of Saka Dawa. They won't serve meat at that time and handling meal service is challenging due to the influx of guests. Mt. Kailash is an extremely hard trek due to the altitude so it's best to anticipate this as many people were not able to physically complete the trek. At the pinnacle of the trek there was ice and snow and was slippery, so crampons would be nice to bring. The local people are very friendly and made the experience wonderful. Of course there were many language barriers, but we were still met with pleasant interactions.

Overall excellent trip organized and provided by Tibet Vista.

This trip covers major parts of Tibet region including 3 days Kora around Kailash, Major Monasteries in Lhasa along with Potala palace and Jokhang temple.

Tibet vista guide Tenzing provided excellent service during our trip, it was during busy Saga dawa festival. Our group had some challenges in getting porters and ponies yet Tenzing could able to provide us shared porters and ponies ,hr thorouly explained the rules in sharing porters in the beginning itself. All of us enjoyed the trip very well, Credit goes to our guide Tenzing's organizational skills.

Our 13-day journey through Tibet with Tibet Vista was truly unforgettable. We explored iconic destinations like Lhasa, Everest, and completed the sacred Kora around Kailash. The arrangements and accommodations were excellent, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout. Our guide, Jigme, was exceptional! Despite the influx of travelers during Saga Dawa, Jigme consistently secured the best accommodations and provided us with invaluable insights and information. His dedication and expertise greatly enhanced our journey, making it a truly memorable adventure. Thank you, Tibet Vista and Jigme, for an amazing experience!

I visited Lhasa, Mount Everest base camp and Mount Kailash with overnight stops, food and sightseeing along the way. It was a fascinating journey and a true adventure. Our guide Sonam Ten Phel was really excellent, nothing seemed too much trouble for him, from showing us the best places to eat, to carrying our bags and sharing his extensive knowledge of Tibetan religion and traditions as we traveled from Lhasa to Khailash. What a great adventure!

You need not to worry anything in the journey. This incredible tour was well arranged all necessities for sightseeing and Kora trekking.

It had perfect balance of cultural heritage and natural scenery of Tibet.

Tour guide Tenzin is so knowledgeable and have clear explanation in the history and interpretation of Buddhism. He is very attentive to all members' needs and physical condition.

My dreaming Kailash Kora would not have been possible without support of Tibet Vista and my great buddies in the tour.

An incredible journey, very well organized beyond expectations. Contact with the sales support was quick and punctual. An excellent local guide who took care of and had eye for everything. A well-skilled driver who assisted very good. The accommodations were perfect and the tour had exactly the right amount of intensity. A great way to experience wonderful Tibet.
