    Unforgettable tour in Hong Kong
Wonderful experience with Stephanie, who guided us through an unforgettable tour in Hong Kong. Stephanie's extensive knowledge of the city's history, coupled with her engaging storytelling, made the journey incredibly informative and enjoyable. During our three-hour tour, Stephanie led us to some stunning spots that beautifully combined shopping areas, historic monuments, and breathtaking overviews. The time flew by, and we were so immersed in the experience that we didn't even notice the hours passing. We left with a wealth of knowledge and many great memories to cherish and share.

    Great and memorable day!
Stephanie was an exceptional guide for our tour to Lantau. She met us at our hotel and guided us through the local transportation to see many stunning sights. She was very knowledgeable, not only about getting around, but in local customs and history. We had many questions and appreciated her insights. Big Buddha did not disappoint and the pink dolphins were active and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the walk through the village and lunch at a local café. Thanks for a great day, Stephanie.

    Great communication and follow through
Excellent communication for our family. In the end we didn’t get to take this tour as one of us came down sick while on our trip. However, they honored their cancellation policy perfectly and checked to see if there was anything else they could provide for us in another day. I was impressed

Private Tour Lantau Island-Big Buddha and Tai O Village
Private Tour Lantau Island-Big Buddha and Tai O Village Booking Number: 1197046711 Confirmation Number: 1581852639 This tour was outstanding and exceeded all expectations. Stephanie was a polite, patience and highly knowledgeable tour guide. She made the experience educational and highly enjoyable in learning Hong Kong’s historical scenery. Stephanie explained everything from the simple MTR subway through the subway stations to the magnificent ride and view from the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. Stephanie expertly maneuvered through Ngnong Ping Village, Divine Generals Alley, Po Lin Buddhist Monastery, Ten Thousand Buddha Grand Hall and Tai O Fishing Village and provided great insight and valued historical data for each of these great Hong Kong landmarks. We also shared an amazing lunch at an local village restaurant. Stephanie provided a recap and detailed synopsis of my exact tour as occurred which proved invaluable to my own detailed journal for my Hong Kong visit. Bravo Zulu Stephanie, thank you! I will take this tour again when I visit Hong Kong and highly recommend this tour to family, friends or anyone visiting Hong Kong.

    Best guide ever
I wanted to take advantage of the long layover but was skeptical about it given my pregnancy. Serendipity led me to Alexandra. Not only did she customize the trip to suit my needs but also guided me on every step including PAR. She was knowledgeable about every aspect of HKG including history from eras, short cuts to get to places, and made the trip very interesting and informative. Her helpful and kind demeanor made it all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended guide especially for families and for women who travel solo.

Excellent layover tour with caring and charismatic guide!
We had a nine hour layover in Hong Kong in route to Bangkok and thought it would be great to have a quick tour of Hong Kong. Fortunately, we chose very well in finding Hong Kong Al a Carte and Alexandra. Alexandra provided a flood of historical and current information in a charming and entertaining way. We felt like we got a rather complete tour of the city in such a short time. While planning I thought a car tour would be better… however I am so glad I chose a walking tour. I think it was much more immersive… walking the streets gave us a good sense of what it might be like to live in this beautiful city. At the end Alexandra was sure to see us off to the next step in our itinerary… hugs all around! Thanks very much for a wonderful experience!

A great introduction to Hong Kong!
This tour was the highlight of our trip! As first-time visitors from the U.S., we didn’t know the first place to start in planning our sightseeing. Our guide Alexandra took care of all of that and brought us all around on a comprehensive tour. Enjoyed it so much that we would come back to Hong Kong in a heartbeat, and after this tour, we feel totally comfortable navigating around on our own.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. The stories were relevant to the history of Hong Kong. A picture of hoe the city got to where it is today based on the historical events and the people drove our culture forward.

My husband and I took the Happy Valley cemeteries tour with Stephanie which went round the Muslim, Catholic, Colonial (Protestant) and Jewish cemeteries. Having lived in HK for 5 years it was a brilliant way to explore HK history from a unique perspective, and a secluded part of the city we hadn’t visited before.

We loved learning about the origins of Hong Kong and key developments as a trading centre and modern city, and as a place which brought together diverse communities through the lives of both ordinary and influential people buried in the Happy Valley cemeteries.

The cemeteries are also a lovely place to visit - peaceful, shaded by lovely old trees and with views back onto the city.

Would recommend to visitors, new arrivals to HK and long term residents.

This ride was exciting. Stéphanie knows Hong Kong and the people who have marked its history very well. We visited the different cemeteries around Happy Valley, which was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in this history and revisit it through the anecdotes linked to the people buried in the different tombs that we came across. Stephanie had chosen the tombs so that they illustrated the major periods of Hong Kong's history, the diversity of its population, the difficulties encountered by the first arrivals, their traditions and sometimes their tragic destinies. Without forgetting the explanations on the architecture and the particular layout of the cemeteries. I highly recommend this tour.

I was a little apprehensive about how good teh tour would be beforehand but it was really interesting all the way through. The guide, Stephanie, was very knowledgeable and and open to answer further questions.
We went to Muslim, Catholic, and Hong Kong cemeteries and stopped at some graces where she explained a little about the people buried there. We also went to the Parsee, Jewish, and Hindu cemeteries, and although we couldn't enter, she explained a little about them from the gates. All in all, a very good experience.

Fantastic tour, with some beautiful scenic cemeteries and a wealth of local knowledge a la tour guide Stefanie. Very do-able with teenagers along for the ride. Am already highly recommending to friends and their families but my advice is to go perhaps a little later in the year when the humidity comes down a bit!

Stephanie was a fantastic host. The cemeteries tour took in the Muslim, Protestant, Catholic, Parsee, and Jewish cemeteries in Happy Valley.

A great way to learn about so much of Hong Kong's history and visit the resting places of some of HK's historical figures.

Stephanie was very organized and knowledgeable and led the tour at the right pace. Highly recommended.
