We spent about 8 days in Kenya. Charles was our contact and he organized everything from when we landed to when we departed. My wife and I wanted a private trip and one that encompassed Nairobi, safari and beach. We also took our trip in last week of March so we knew rain was a possibility and could make things difficult. All the places we stayed at was top notch. I would say definitely a luxury feel to them all and the service was exceptional. The food everywhere we stayed was excellent and they even asked us before our trip what our food preferences were and they were able to accommodate it all. We ate very well and was never sick! Nairobi was great and we learned a lot about local food, culture and everyday life. The safaris were off the charts. Accommodation was a luxury tent on the river banks where we can view hippos and crocodiles from our porch. The drives were great and we saw every animal conceivable except the leopard … next time. We always felt safe and got great pics of all the animals. Charles knew where all the animals were and every drive was so informative and mind blowing. We went to Dania Beach to soak up the sun and was impressed with the beachfront resort. The water was clear and the rooms were very comfortable and yes there was AC. We can’t wait to return to Kenya and surely we will contact Charles as we know he will ensure we have a memorable time again.

We've had the most amazing tour with Charles. His knowledge is outstanding! He really made our trip perfect. I would not recommend anybody else. The places we've visited were Maasai Mara and Amboseli, and I will definetly come back for other national parks.

For our 25th anniversary, my husband and I spent two weeks on safari with Charles, traveling to all corners of Kenya. Charles is an amazing guide as well as delightful company. He handles all situations with grace and has boundless knowledge of his country and wildlife. It was a pleasure staying with Charles for over a week! The game drives were amazing and he has a very good sense of what his guests wish for and what the environment has to offer. Charle's spotting capabilities are fascinating. Also he is very interested in cultural exchange, which gives you the possibility to learn a lot about the life in Kenya. Charles is simply the best safari guide. I did a photography safari in Kenya (Amboselli, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara) for almost a month in July/August of this year, and Charles was one of our guides. His knowledge of the Kenyan wild life is incredible! He knew the answers to all my questions – I asked a fair share of questions. He is the most easy-going guy too. Some of my most favorite moments in Kenya was when we just sat for a fair share of time and watched, absorbed, smelled, listened, and became almost one with nature (and what was going on in our surroundings). If Africa is on you bucket list I highly recommend you use Charles as your guide. He and I have already talked about my next trip to Africa and are starting to come up with some ideas. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK TO AFRICA! It really does something to you – especially if you are an animals lover like myself.

I did a 3-week safari with Charles of Dens of Africa (Amboselli, Samburu, Nakura, Masai Mara). A great itinerary is only part of a great safari. A truly exceptional experience requires a talented guide/driver with a keen eye, excellent instincts on animal behavior, and understanding of positioning to take world-class photos. We were on safari in Kenya for 7 days with Charles. It was truly an amazing adventure. We saw everything we hoped for - and more. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, gepards, leopards, rhinos etc. We saw the rich wild life in Kenya and were amazed by it everyday. And Charles played a big role in this adventure. He shared his wisdom and knowledge about the animals and with his kind, funny and warm personality he made the trip so much better! Asante sana for the trip of a lifetime. We will never forget it!

We did a 5 day safari with Charles and his trusty Landcruiser covering the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru which was the most incredible experience! My husband and I were holidaying with our families. Prince Charles, from the very first minute, picking us up at 7 am on a rainy Nairobi morning immediately made sure that the family warmed up to him. In the Masai Mara we spotted 9 lions (5 male Andrew 4 female), 3 cheetahs (2 male 1 female), 2 leopards (on top of tree branches), 17 elephants, 7 hyenas, 5 jackals, 5 crocodiles, maybe 30 hippos, a monitor lizard and an uncountable number of zebras, giraffe's (three types) wildebeest, gazelles, impalas, elans, mongoose, warthogs, buffalos etc etc. With Charles, we were the first in the park (maybe the only people) to spot the mating lions. We also saw the family of 17 elephants walbk out of the bushes before us. The spotted hyenas in a pack were also a sight that was just ours in the wild. He tried so hard to make sure we could see the wildebeest cross the mara river but we were just not lucky enough - we will save it for another time. At Lake Nakuru we saw 5 rhinos, one male, square lipped, a mother and a daughter strolling, and a mother and a daughter (black rhino pair) walking into the bushes- when from what I hear it is not the easiest to even spot one. At Lake Naivasha we saw a school of napping hippos floating in the water and walked with the giraffes ans zebras besides spotting so many varieties of birds. Charles was warm, shared his knowledge about the birds and the animals in the parks and also Kenyan history. Nothing I will say about his hospitality will be enough. On day 1 in the Mara, we found ourself stuck in the park with a Cloudburst which for a moment was scary but Charles navigated us expertly to safety. Not just in the Mara, he made sure our journey through the bumpy roads was as comfortable as it could be. In his own words (speaking about his Landcruiser - "you gotta know how to use this!")
