Pick-up from your city hotel in Nairobi and start your safari to the northern circuit, pass through the central highlands of Kenya, via the pineapple, coffee and tea plantations. Embark on a game drive en-route as you head to the camp for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in this private conservancy, look out for the chimpanzees at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and refuge to over 40 species of black rhinos.
This Chimpanzee Sanctuary was established with an agreement between the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute. The aim is to provide lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. Over the last decade, Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary has been compelled to keep accepting chimpanzees rescued from traumatic situations. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.
Later exit the conservancy and drive back to Nairobi. Your driver will drop off at your city hotel.
