It was a pleasure meeting Sheriff! He not only showed us the typical street food, he also explained the origin of the various plates and gave us historical insights about different restaurants and architecture in the surrounding. He is very easy going and good to talk to, so overall very recommendable! As we had to catch a flight at night, we couldn’t stay longer but would certainly have enjoyed spending more time with him.

We loved this your, using the Golf car was easy and confortable for the tour considering that the area is a bit chaotic, Sherif was an amazing host, we always care about us and he made us feel save and protect all the time, we also knew many details about the Mosques, and all this small details to make us feel like an experts 😅. Something to highlight is his photography skills, he has a talent for it! The pictures are like professional!! And considering that here the people want money for take a picture of you, this is a very useful plus! 👌 He also gave us an extra help for change money with a very good rate, to find something to eat, and also to find a fair souvenirs store! What a memorable day with Sherif!! With his immense knowledge we had a very informative day. He really went the extra mile to not only show us the buildings and the history but also to expose us to the local people as well as mingle with the local people. We were even taken to the market!

We only had the opportunity for an evening food tour with Sherif, since the rest of our schedule was already booked; but his tour was our first when we got into Cairo, and it was a great introduction.
