Great trip to the museum of civilization, old Cairo and citadel.
This trip was excellent. We saw really interesting places in Cairo. The museum of civilization was really interesting with a fascinating mummies section. Amir our guide was so knowledgeable about Egyptology and answered all our questions. He seemed to really enjoy explaining everything to us and genuinely proud of Egypt. He had very good English and was very professional and friendly. We had a great day with Amir and felt well looked after by Amir and his driver.

Visit to the Giza pyramids and the sphinx, including entry into the large main pyramid.
My visit to the Giza pyramids and Sphinx with entry into the grand pyramid with guide Ahmed Zaki and driver Mohamed Mowafi was great. Both are very professional and correct. Ahmed’s explanation of the pyramids history and evolution was excellent. Very informative. I learned a lot rapidly. Everything was organized well, and efficiently and quickly. Meeting instructions for the next day arrived very fast. They were punctual arriving at the hotel. The experience was worth it even though everyone has already seen a picture of them. The pyramids are impressive to see, and to go inside of. The walk into the grand pyramid was fun. It could be challenging for someone with limited mobility or claustrophobia, but it’s not very long, and the experience is worth it. The tunnels are large enough to walk up snd back down while crouching. I did not do a camel ride, having g done it already. Two stops were included for a brief introduction to the making of papyrus into a material used for writing or painting, and natural oils for perfume or medical uses. There are some lovely images on papyrus if you like this type of thing. They could make a nice gift. The people there are OK, there was not a problem with them pressuring me to buy something. I highly recommend a trip to the Giza pyramids and sphinx with Ahmed and Mohamed. Overall an excellent visit without any complications or hassles. If I come back with family or friends it could be nice to go again.

    An amazing day in Egypt
Ahmed Zaki was an amazing tour guide for our group. He had a vast, in depth knowledge of all things Egypt. The tour we booked required someone who understood in great detail both historical and cultural facts. Ahmed was well connected in the community which allowed us to get VIP service everywhere we went. I highly recommend Ahmed Zaki as a guide and will seek him out anytime when I get back to Egypt.

Day Trip to Alexandria with Amir
Amir and his driver picked us up at our hostel at 7am (super on time) and drove us to Alexandria. We stopped in the middle of the ride for some breakfast and Amir offered us bottles of water. Arrived at Alexandria at around 9h30/10h and started by visiting the place where the old library used to be. Then we headed to the fort (old lighthouse), then the catacombs, Pompey pillar and finally what used to be a Greek school. During the trip we felt super safe and got the chance to learn a lot with Amir. Super worth it and definitely recommend.

    Informative, safe, breathtaking
I can honestly not recommend this trip enough. The pyramids and the sphinx are absolutely breath taking but our guide Ahmed Zaki made it even more incredible. He was polite, informative and was quite happy to take pictures of us whenever we wanted, nothing was too much trouble for him. He stopped us being hassled by local market stall owners and the children on the school trips (they are harmless and just after a picture but we were on a time scale) Our driver Mowafy was also a lovely gent opening the door for my girlfriend every time we entered and left the vehicle while also keeping our belongings safe. You’ll enjoy this trip no matter what but if you manage to get a tour with Ahmed and Mowfay, you’ve hit the jackpot!

After spending two days at in Cairo exploring the sites my husband and I opted for a little adventure. And what an adventure it was. We were picked up at our hotel in Cairo by Ramy, whom we would spent the day with. Ramy had snacks and water ready for our journey to Fayoum, a little under 2 hrs from Cairo. Once in Fayoum we were met by Ali, our driver for the day. Ramy and Ali would have us laughing and smiling for the rest of our journey. We ran around the desert in a 4x4 expertly operated by Ali, going up and down sand dunes, with our first stop at Wadi El Rayan waterfall. After a short coffee break, we road a camel to the lake where we took a nice boat ride after which we headed to the waterfall. It really was incredible to see, especially when you realize you’re in the middle of the desert. Btw, Ramy doubles as an expert photographer, trust in his ability and you’ll get some amazing photos.

After splashing away in the waterfall, we stopped in the desert to feel the incredibly soft sand, take some photos and make a sand angel (couldn’t help myself). Thereafter we climbed a mountain and looked out at the spectacular views all while accompanied by Ramy. Just as we started to get hungry, we had an incredible home cooked meal prepared by Ali’s wife at a lovely desert camp I’m fairly certain my husband wants to spend a month in, after which we would stop at the “magic lake”. Had we brought our swimsuits we could have gone swimming but we didn’t bring them with us to Cairo so we dipped our feet in the water and marveled at the beauty surrounding us.

Thereafter Ali and Ramy would bring us to a hill where we would speed down on sand boards over and over again until my face hurt from laughing and smiling so much. I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in years, all while caught on camera by Ramy and Ali.

After all was said and done we said goodbye to Ali and headed back to Cairo with Ramy, who delivered us back to our hotel lobby. Cairo is amazing but Fayoum is something special. It’s no wonder they call it Egypt’s “best kept secret”. Get out of the city and have some fun. Make sure to ask for Ramy and Ali, you will NOT be disappointed.

We had an amazing time thanks to Ramy, our driver and Mahmoud Emam, our guide. Pickup from the hotel, an interesting drive via Ring Road, passing the Pyramids of Gizeh on the desert highways and varying nature towards the Wadi Al Fayyum. You wouldnt expect sand, huge salt water lakes, waterfalls and palm trees so close together. After a 2 hours drive we changed car and were placed in a real off road car and having a very exciting off road drive combined with stops at various points of interests such as a lake, a dune or the waterfalls. After that a little bit of sand boarding (better dont underestimate, what it means, to climb back up on a dune after happily surfing it). After all of that we had a delicious barbecue. We were very excited but also tired and exhausted, this is why we finally decided to skip the camel ride and went back to the hotel. What an amazing day and if your Cairo stay is not completely overbooked with cultural events we highly recommend this trip with our 2 companions Ramy and Mahmoud for a great day!

The trip was fantastic, as we hoped it would be. Our guide, Mustafa Ortega, and our driver Ahmed, were super friendly and made sure to make us feel comfortable and not rushed, as they gave us all the time we needed to take photos and appreciate the breathtaking desert. The safari in the middle of Sahara felt like a rollercoaster as we were dashing through the sand dunes, and the food they served us was absolutely delicious. This trip is an experience you don't want to miss if you happen to visit Egypt. Also be sure to bring your swimsuit because swimming in a lake in the middle of the desert under the blazing sun is invigorating and awesome

Khaled was absolutely AMAZING!! So friendly, I ended up on a tour alone with him and he was super nice to talk to, took care of my every need and made tons of jokes. He’s so knowledgeable and one of the best tour guides ever and I’m convinced he’s a pro photographer— the photos he took on my phone I’ll keep forever they are so beautiful. Only included a few in this review that he took but there are so so many amazing ones. I had so much fun sandboarding especially. Was a Western woman travelling alone and because of my driver and guide I never felt unsafe. Got to see a different side of Egypt than just staying in Cairo. Get this tour and request Khaled!!!

This tour was amazing!

We are just students from the Netherlands and booked the Fayoum safari to diversify our journey in Egypt. We are so glad we did, because it was a really an unique experience. And although we have seen pyramids, musea, tombs and much more, this will be the highlight of our vacation.

During our one week stay in Egypt we had three tour guids (cairo city+ museum; felucca ride Nile; east-to-west Luxor) before we went on the Fayoum safari. Unlike our previous tours this one did provides what was promised and more. We got water for days, coffee, a snack, tissues and desinfection gel (because of Covid). But also amazing views, great photo's, Arabic music advise and a warm welcome.

The guide (Ahmed) was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He told us everything you should want to know about the area and gave detailed answers to every question we asked.
As for the driver (Ramy) who picked us up from the hotel and also stayed with us for the whole tour, we must give him great compliments for his ability to take great pictures with our Canon camera during the whole tour.

Happy with our experience, we canceled tour (Giza plateau+Memphis+Saqqara) for the next day and instead booked another tour with Ahmed and Ramy.

Ahmed (guide) and Ramy (diver/photographer) thank you again for your geat service and best wishes!

Amazing experience in a completely new biome! The nice tourguide communinicates via WhatsApp, is very thoughtful and reacts very fast. You will be picked up and dropped off at your sleeping location, which makes this an relaxing all inclusive experience. In the bus we got to choose our own music. The ride takes you into the dessert where you switch to the 4x4 vehicle, this rides takes you on an adventure across the sand dunes. During this ride you find a nice spot to go sandboarding. As we where no experts on this, sitting down surfing from the dune was already a very joyful ride! The bbq lunch was delisous chicken in a local dessert village, which was very peaceful and quite. A magical experience. In addition you get to a cool viewpoint, boatride, museum or marketplace visit and a swim in the dessert, which were wonderful. In short, a care free day, you return with amazing pictures and wonderful experiences!
Our guide made our trip extra special. He was friendly and relaxed and made it a personal trip with nice facts, cool stories and even nicknames ;)
I would highly recommend going on this day trip. It is everything you expect and more! Thank you for this wonderful day in Egypt!

It was an extremely pleasant experience. I highly recommend our guide Fares and Sobhy, our host in the desert. We had a great time, we drove along the dunes in a jeep, we did sand boarding also dance in the middle of the desert 😄,and swimming in the lake. We learned a lot about the desert and ended up eating traditional food that was very tasty. My family and I were left with many fond memories and new friends in Egypt. Thank you (Eri)

Dune bashing, dune boarding and swimming in the magic lake was amazing. The Wadi El Rayan is very cool to see because you would never expect to see a waterfall in the middle of the desert. I have been to Egypt six times and this was the best of all my experiences. I'm Egyptian by heritage and didn't even realize that such adventures await right outside of Cairo. We have three children (12, 10, and 6) and they had the best time they didn't even get hungry in the middle of the day they were so distracted by all the dune riding, dune surfing, and swimming. By the time we ate everyone was hungry and the food was great. We unanimously agreed this was the best day of our 11 days in Egypt. It is just so different and so fun compared to all the other events and attractions you would normally do in Egypt. Farag our driver was so fun we had an incredible time with him. He let us do whatever we wanted and hang out in the lake till the kids were ready to leave. I definitely recommend packing swim clothes if in summer, change of clothes, sandals, towels, etc. The dune riding is not for the faint of heart but our kids loved it.

My husband and I recently did this tour with Fares and we had a blast. Fares was punctuatal when he picked us up from our hotel and he conversed with us and kept us engaged for the entire trip. He explained each part of the tour as we passed through many areas and was quite knowledgeable and detailed. We learnt a lot. Most of the things Fares told us and showed us we never knew existed. The sites on this tour are breathtaking. It was probably our favorite and we highly recommend everyone to take it especially with Fares.
