This is one of the most delicate tours I have ever booked for a group. Amir was always available via whatsapp and communicated well leading up to the day of pickup, answering all the questions and concerns we had. They arrived on time and with a brand new 12 seater van. Hamada was our driver for most of the trip and I can't say it enough, HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER! Very polite, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We had 3 different accommodations, the lodge in Siwa is a hidden gem, the lodge in Bahariya was decent for the overnight stay, and the overnight camp had all the amenities we needed except for the toilet, but we were advised of that beforehand. All of the meals were plentiful, so much that there were times we couldn't eat all the food! The drinks were not included on the tour but were always available at minimum cost. The guides for each area were very educated in their field. The White Desert didn't have much history to be explained but the marvel was at how beautiful the different landscapes were. Lastly, upon departure two of our bags were left at Bahariya which is a 5 hour drive away from Cairo, and Amir made sure we received it before our connecting flight at no extra cost. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Beautiful locations absolutely worth seeing these landscapes. It’s a long day first up though & lots of short stops. Camp was basic but was exactly what I expected sleeping under the stars. Food there was good too (heaps of it too). Guide was knowledgeable but not super chatty this time round, maybe a bit exhausted. Price is one of the better prices I’ve seen. Drop off though was chaotic & the driver didn’t know where he was going & couldn’t communicate in English (which is okay, I just think there needed to be better communication between tour operator & driver & guests). Also didn’t get dropped off at my location, nor did many of the guests, we just got told to walk. If it’s because of traffic then we just need to manage expectations better & have a few drop off points rather than staying it’s back at your hotel. Also felt like it was a bit too long at the hotel. Other than that, really nice time!!

Wonderful and unique experience in the black and white desert of Egypt. Everything was well organized and exactly how promised. I would def recommend this trip to everyone coming to Egypt - it was one of the most special things we ever experienced and def the highlight of our trip!

One of the highlights of a trip to Egypt. Sure it takes a little while to drive to the desert, but it is totally worth it. You’ll feel like you are at the end of the world. Camping outside and sleeping by the fire is a magical experience, and never in my life have I seen so many stars (and I am from rural New Zealand). If you are looking for the opposite of Cairo, this is it.

We could entirely have a great experience in the desert! We could see a fox during the desert camp. We definitely recommend you to join the tour!

I had wanted to do this for years and I was not disappointed. We were paired with a great couple from the US and we had a wonderful time. Our driver was very patient and pointed out the best places for the thousands of photos I took. The highlight of the night was the excellent dinner. It was the best I had eaten in a long time. A fox even visited in the night! If I can, I will do this trip again. Worth every cent.

It's hard to find the words to describe how great this trip was! Superbly organised! We were also very fortunate about the guide, Mahmoud (I hope I am spelling his name right) is the greatest treasure of this trip! His approach, knowledge, commitment, care, wisdom and personal approach made this time absolutely unforgettable. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life! Breathtaking views, delicious food, great offroad and sandboard. My mother also delighted!!! Thank you so much - these moments will stay with us forever!

Well organised. Friendly team. Delicious dinner while camping. Amazing sceneries. I can’t recommend this experience enough.

We were picked up at our hotel in Giza, went in a 4 hour drive in a comfortable van, had lunch and got separated in groups for the desert safari. After we left the place where we had our meal, we were in the car for about 6 hours total. It was comfortable and really fun! We started with the black desert, climbed a little mount and got a panoramic view of the region. After that, a quick stop at an oasis to take a bath. Then, crystal mountain, an awesome place to find some cool crystals. Later we entered the white desert, a region you will never forget. That place is magical, unbelievable. Close to the sunset, we stopped at our camping stop, watched the sun going down while our guide and driver prepared our dinner. In the evening, the group got together, chatted a little and gazed at the stars while we drank some tea. We slept in tents or under the sky. It was really nice, and our guide Petra helped us all the time. The next day we watched the sun rise and, after the breakfast it was time to leave the desert. We reached the house where it all started by 10h in the morning. By 15h in the afternoon we were back in Cairo. We had free water bottles all day long. This is an unforgettable experience and we should not miss it. To maximize your experience, check the moon table and, if possible, go when you have a new moon in the sky!

What a fantastic experience! Our guide was an amazing person and went out of his way to make sure we learned about the desert, and had a brilliant time! Thank you also Amir for taking us too and from the desert, we always felt safe in your car and we will repeat this tour when we next come to Egypt. You guys are the best!

It is a tour that every tourist has to do in Egypt. A wonderful, mind-blowing experience. The local guide was very friendly and responsible. Sleeping in the middle of the desert, under a sky full of stars, next to a campfire was wonderful. I recommend it 100%.

We were picked up and driver came at correct time. The guide provided all information about white desert tour previous night of trip. Pickup van was good with fully AC on. It is 5-6 hours from Cairo to Siwa Oasis where there is layover place to have lunch and buy water. No water will be provided till you start your white desert trip in all wheel drive from here. The lunch was horrible-not eatable with plenty of flies on each bowl and plate. I will suggest pack your lunch from Cairo and eat that. The best part starts when you leave this layover place in all wheel drive from here. They showed many attractions black desert, crystal mountain, may be 2 more. I didn’t find anything special. The last one was white desert which I like the most. The driver prepared dinner for us which was OK no complaints. Then we slept on mattress, there was a sleeping bag which I didn’t use because it was not cold in September. It was a great experience sleeping in open under stars. We were provided with plenty of water here. You can go behind a small hill in case you need to go. The next morning our driver prepared breakfast and we came back to layover place. From there we had AC van to go to Cairo back to hotel.

It was beyond excellent. The rep picked us from home and dropped us at the bus station after buying us snacks. We stayed at qasr el salam hotel and it was beautiful. The food was amazing and the guides were knowledgeable. We had a lot of laughter at the language barrier. Desert safari, sunsets, salt lake were out of this world. All the people taking care of us made us feel like family. White desert tours have impressed us with this one

It is a trip that I will recommend because it is full, offers a unique experience and at a reasonable price that is worth paying. Our driver/tour guide (Badr) in the desert was really good, which is very important in order to make the most out of the trip! He made for us loads of delicious food (cooked by himself!) and had loads of water for us throughout the whole trip! He gave us advise where to go in every stop we made and how to be safe. I would only add 2 things. It would be nice to have somebody in the car on the way to the oasis who would say some things to us about Egypt and places we drive by. This makes the ride more interesting, and also, people get the chance to know more about the country which makes them want to explore it more. And second thing, it would be nice on the 2nd day to have a ride around Bahariya oasis itself, to see how people live, their houses, where they shop etc. However, even without these 2 elements, I don't feel like I missed out on anything. Everywhere we went was impressive and the highlight of it all was sleeping under the shooting stars and milky way :) (You can sleep in a tent if you want too, but under the open sky is something else!)
