Full day of touring starting with the sparkling Egyptian Museum of Civilization. Interesting complex with fascinating exhibits tracing the many varied cultures through the history of Egypt. The mummies were a highlight. Not for the faint of heart or week of stomach, but interesting. Then on to the Museum of Islamic Art. Great. We also visited highlights of Islamic Cairo - two interesting mosques. One for the call to prayer. So fascinating. Finally, a quick run through the Khan el Khallili Market. Colorful. Thanks to our friendly and informative guide Mahmoud/Khalefa and our nerves of steel driver Mohammed.

We scheduled this tour with Egypt Royal Tours for the day we flew into Cairo at 5:30 am. We wanted a relatively short tour to push through the jetlag and this fit the bill. The museum was a bit crowded, as Fridays are a weekend day for Muslims (who knew?), but nonetheless very interesting. The royal mummy display was amazing. After visiting the museum, we were taken to a papyrus store and essential oil store, which we never really asked for. Our group of four bought nothing and we asked to be returned to our hotel. I felt safe with Egypt Royal Tours staff and am happy that we took the tour. It was reasonably priced.

Delicious local food, friendly and knowledgeable guide, Mohammad Boogie, Driver Aemn, and even photographer Abdul! Had the best Falafel, loved learning about other Egyptian food! We got to pick 2 “side quest” - we choose the spices and oils, where we learned a lot about both! Got some rare blue lotus to make some tea of! Looking forward to trying that! Also had camel for the 1st time! Quite the experience. Be sure to not plan anything promptly after your tour. 1.) It might be longer b/c of traffic, etc. and 2.) You will be full and might need to take a nap after! Lol

Muhammad, Iman and Abdul were amazing. Muhammad was very knowledgeable about history and food. The guys were fun to spend the day with and I don’t think I’ll be eating for a few days. I feel much more comfortable in the city after this tour and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about the culture and people.

Mohammed, Aemn, and Abdul were excellent guides and provided a wonderful experience of Egyptian food, a Cairo market and more. Definitely a “can’t miss” experience.

We had so much fun with this tour. Sugar Queen and her driver showed us around town and the best food in town, all with friendly positive energy. She’s knowledgeable and lots of fun. We really enjoyed the hospitality of all the people we interacted with. Great experience for first timer like us. The rooftop restaurant (Hayat) at the end of the tour has a killer view of the pyramids and sphinx and wonderful grilled meat. Great way to end the day. Highly recommended.

It was amazing Great Pyramid trip. We were speechless. You'll learn the history plus you will have great photos! No worry also because Brother Muhammad Guide us thru the day and Guard you thru the hustle and bustle of the Trip. We had Delicious Bbq Lunch from Sakkara town.

Our first day trip was awesome. Our Amazing tour guide Brother Muhammad lead us to a great-tasting Egyptian falafel with hot drinks as starter. Then driving thru the garbage city going to the Cave Church of St. Simon. Followed by the Alabaster Mosque in Cairo Citadel and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where the real royal mummies are. Tour guide is a must specially Brother Muhammad for being a knowledgeable Egyptologist.

An excellent tour of pyramids with Muhammad, our favourite guide, whom we purportedly picked because of his mind blowing knowledge of history, his friendliness and charisma and reliability. We've learned so so much about Egyptian history, it was an unforgettable day. Muhammad and his driver Haitham are really great team. We opted not to ride the camels, so we're only reviewing Royal Egypt tours, our guide and his driver and of course the attraction: Pyramids. We strongly recommend booking this company and particularly this team 👍 👏 👌

Our tour guide - Muhammad with driver Haitham. Muhammad is very knowledgeable egyptologist, very well presented and his english is great. My husband and I 've learned a lot of very interesting facts about so very valuable history of Egypt going back to as far as first century. We saw amazing Cave Church of St. Simon and old Coptic Cairo, which was excellent with every bit of intriguing detail and very old artefacts from history available to see and soak in the atmosphere. The tour finished with tasty lunch of fresh local cuisine. The driver Haitham was polite, the car was clean and air-conditioned, his driving safe. We strongly recommend Egypt Royal Tours and if you will be lucky to have Muhammad as your tour guide, you won't regret your booking. Very valuable tour, worth every penny. Thank you guys. If we go to Egypt again, we are booking Muhammad!

I had fabulous guide in Cairo Hamad. Very knowledgeable. My driver in Cairo Hetham amazing. The guides help you check in at accommodation to make sure check in is okay and when my accommodation in Cairo fell through Hamad and Hetham with the company secured me new accommodation that had amazing views of the pyramids. George in Luxor amazing also knowledgeable and had time to explore sites. Both my guides were incredible and amazing manners. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and secure they both gave me honest advice about being a solo female traveler. I highly recommend this tour I had an experience I will never forget. Great tour, Muhammad our tour guide was a great wealth of information. He was friendly and took great pics of us. He helped find us souvenirs from the bazaar and ensured we got a good deal. Was even able to add on an ATV experience in Giza overlooking the pyramids! Haitham our driver picked us up and took us everywhere we needed to go before dropping us off back at our hotel, was super friendly and even gave us a few food recommendations too! Highly recommend
