About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Lynmar600 contributionsKing Tut 1 - definitely not a 5* cruise shipKing Tut 1 is a very tired cruise ship on the Nile. Advertised as 5*, but would be difficult to rate as a 3*. Cabins comfortable but in need of upgrade as were the bathrooms. Food ok, but very rarely hot. Staff very good and helpful. Afternoon tea served when sailing, consisted of very thinly sliced cake and plain biscuits. Bath towels not much bigger than hand towels and very thin and grey. Our Egyptologist and guide was excellent. The trips were good but felt very rushed. We spent nearly 5 hours each way on a coach to Abu Simbel only to have less than 2 hours there. All in all I would suggest paying a bit more to get a better standardWritten 24 December 2023
- HillerAbroad0 contributionsBest tour guide I've ever had!My wife and I spent 3 full days touring Luxor and a day in Aswan and a day to/from Abu Simbel with Egypt Best Vacation. Our guide was Nagla who is also the owner of Egypt Best Vacation. I have traveled around the world and have taken many tours. Nagla is the best guide I have ever had. She is a former Archeologist, teacher and speaker several languages. From the moment she picked us up we knew we were in good hands. The car looked new and the driver was very nice. He kept the car a comfortable temperature and always had cold water available. Nagla took us everywhere. She has a natural ability to explain history in a fun and engaging way. She shared her knowledge in a way that was easy to understand and remember. Some of the chambers were a little dark. But that wasn't a problem becasue Nagla had a laser pointer so we didn't miss a thing. Another reason Nagla is so good is because she loves being a tour guide and is passionate about Egyptian history. Everything she told us felt genuine, exciting and fresh although I'm sure she's said it all a thousand times before. The day we went to Hatshepsut Temple Nagla picked us up very early so we would avoid the large crowds. I'm glad she did because there were maybe 20 other people there while we were. As we were leaving several large busses filled with tourists arrived. Nagla timed everything (as much as possible) so we were always ahead of the large crowds. I highly recommend Egypt Best Vacation. There are 2 other tour companies with similar names. One has an (s) at the end of Egypt and one has an (s) at the end of Vacation. So be careful to chose "Egypt Best Vacation".Written 9 August 2023

- Antonio J0 contributionsHorrible experience, reserved with Viator and all time trying to get extra money and cheating us.We made a reservation to visit valley of kings, they should pick us up from airport at 9:00, however they arrived one hour late, they also made us go out of the airport walking, when other tours pick people up from inside. The tour was simple and basic, and at the end they asked a crazy extra amount of money to leave us in the next temple. They wanted 40 extra USD$ for a trip of less than 5 minutes from Colossus of Memnon to Temple of Hatshepsut, and if we wanted extend the tour 60$ for every extra place. He did not offer us any water. In conclusion, they arrive late, minimal tour and treating to cheat us all the time. Guide name for Spanish was Sayed.Written 1 October 2022
- michelkA4186JM0 contributionsThe best guide in LuxorI recently visited the luxur and the Valley of the kings, at the entrance before the tickets a very kind gentleman approached me and in fluent English asked me if I needed an Egyptian guide. Because I do not know much about Egyptian culture I said to trust him and in the end it was the best thing I did in my whole trip to Egypt. It is probably the best guide I have ever had because he really did not try to make money from me but to help me and teach me as much as he can about Egyptian culture. His name is Mike Atty and I highly recommend him to all of you because I do not think you can find a better guide to Luxor. I take the courage to publish his phone because it is really worth a tour with Mike. Mike thank you very much for such nice stories and for so many nice conversations we had I will see you again soon. Tel.MIKE ATTY +201006344684 Kyriazidis Michel 1/8/2021Written 7 August 2021

- Ramon M0 contributionsExcellent tour!My tour in Luxor was fantastic. Nagla was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I learned so much on this tour. Since this is private tour, you can adjust it to your needs...just let your guide know what you want. I recommend this tour if you prefer a private tour rather than a bus filled with people! Muchas gracias, Nagla!Written 25 February 2020
- khaledaQ2222XB0 contributionsAmazing days in Egypti had been with my family 4 Persons last November 2019, we had a fantastic time. Nagla was very well prepared. She and her team had done a very professional tour from Hurghada to Luxor where we saw the vally of the kings, Deir-Elsheluiet, Habu Temple and last but not least Karnak and Luxor which where for us the highlight of our tour. For sure our next trip to Egypt will be with Naglaa again, and we recommend her100 % , if you aim to see the real Egypt. Children Programm was also fascinating, on this way we thank you very muchWritten 2 February 2020

- fallogne0 contributionsGreat personally tailored tourWe had a two day guided tour to sites of our choosing around Luxor. The tour was well tailored for us personally. Nagla was extremely knowledgeable and informative as well as friendly and caring. On top of the tours, she also recommended us places to eat and took us to a great lunch place. We were very well taken care of and I would recommend her very highly. As we were a mother and dauther travelling Egypt, it was great to be accompanied by a female tour guide.Written 16 January 2020
- Q9881PZpauls0 contributionsLuxor WestBankLet me start by saying once again, Thank You Nagla! In American terms, You Rocked! Seriously, if you are looking for a knowledgeable, funny and caring guide through Egypt, Nagla is your top choice! She knows what she is talking about and gives you plenty of time to explore on your own. Nagla took us to a great restaurant and then off to the monuments one right after the other. It was awesome! We had a couple of other guides but they fell a little short compared to Nagla. I would recommend her to my closest friends that want to come to Egypt. Go with Nagla and you are in great hands! Cheers Nagla and thanks again! Paul Stephenson, AmericaWritten 12 January 2020
- Explorer5466190 contributionsWow! What of women guides in Egypt! We were pleaseantly surprised to have a female guide on this tour. Much different from the men, Ngala had a great relationship with the driver and opened doors wherever we went or wanted to go. She not only led us with her historic knowledge through the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshipsut's temple but also got us into an alabaster studio opon last minute request. Great job! Love you!Written 12 January 2020
- HillerAbroad0 contributionsBest guide I've ever had!In 2019 I realized my lifelong dream of exploring the pyramids, temples and tombs of ancient Egypt. Most of my guides were good but my guide in Luxor was amazing! Nagla is an Egyptologist and a guide who loves her job and it shows! I spent two days with her in Luxor and she took my experience to another level. Her presentations were fun, informative, fascinating and, easy to follow She even taught me a few things about reading hieroglyphics! Each day we covered a lot of territory, but I never felt rushed. At the beginning of each day she asked me what I wanted to see and if there was anything I didn’t want to see. At each site Nagla encouraged me to ask questions (after her presentation LOL) and, gave me time to explore on my own. One thing I appreciated was the laser pointer she used. The light in some of the temples and tombs was a little dim and the some of the hieroglyphics and carvings were faded and/or worn. The laser pointer made it easy to follow what she was talking about. The drivers Nagla used were friendly and professional. Their cars were new, clean and comfortable with USB ports you could use to charge your device if needed. Each time we returned to the car after visiting a site the driver had the car nice and cool with the AC and plenty of cold water waiting for us. Nice! Nagla is an exceptional guide and a genuine person. She takes pride and pleasure in what she does. I always felt her main concern was that I had a great experience. I should also mention she’s fluent in English, German and Arabic. Thanks for everything Nagla, you’re the best! MarkWritten 1 January 2020
- richardhX3312CI0 contributionsAwesome Nile CruiseWe were so fortunate to have been assigned Mona as our Egyptologist tour guide when we joined our Nile Cruise on the Oberoi Philae. From the first boat tour around Elephant Island in Aswan, to gazing into the Osirian Temple in Abydos, Mona provided professional, knowledgeable insight into the ancient Egyptian people and culture. Mona also helped us shop and get fitted for a traditional Egyptian galabeya. She helped us give out candy treats to the Egyptian children whom she loved. Mona’s sense of humor and kindness made our time with her very special and enjoyable. Mona started out as professional tour guide and quickly became a friend that we continue to keep in touch with. We highly recommend Mona as a proud ambassador of Egypt.Written 28 December 2019
- Vonda C0 contributionsWhen in Egypt...go with the best! This trip was far beyond amazing and it was mostly due to our guide Mona! She was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable of the history behind all the places we visited. Our trip started with a 4night cruise down the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. Mona met us at our hotel and stayed with us for the entire trip! I would highly recommend using her as a tour guide when you visit the Aswan or Luxor area!Written 27 December 2019
