Amazing place, Luxor & Karnac temple, valley of the kings, etc, simply amazing. It's definitely worth a visit, but a 3 or 4 day cruise is more than enough. Spoilt by constant expectation of tippling & everyone trying to rip you at very stage of the holiday.

Once again we are back to our favourite Tamassa Ressort and we really had a great time. First of all the welcoming at the Reception desk this welcome that has not yet been experienced in other resorts. The food was awesomespecially the croissant. All the staffs are so friendly and always at the client's service. Especially Mr Altaff and Chef Eldinho always there to make sure the food is excellent. The room always so tidy. Tamassa Ressort will always be a great place to relax and to have a wonderful time whether with family or honeymoon. Thank you Mr Nishaad for all the accommodations. Keep it up wonderful team. Laila gave us a unique moment in Luxor. She told in detail all the stories of all the tourist spots visited and even gave us several tips on places to take photos. Within an hour of the Tour I was already immersed in the history of Luxor and the details given made me want to take a course just on Egyptian history haha ​​I hope that everyone can have the wonderful experience I had and that they can have the best guide in the world. country. The cruise was very nice although we would have appreciated if they would have told us beforehand what ship we would have boarded and the actual itinerary. The cruise ships on the Nile are all formally 5* but of course there are old and new ones, the one we got was not of the same standard as the one advertised. Also, depending on the day of departure the itinerary can shift and we ended up sailing just one day out of four and visiting Luxor in one day instead of two half days, which makes it quite a demanding day after the hot air baloon ride at sunrise. We were moored in Aswan for two nights. I would therefore suggest to ask amd confirm the name of the cruise ship and the final itinerary before booking. The tour operator itself was very responsive and helpful but as they use other tour operators in Aswan and Luxor to organize the transfers and guides the communication can get a bit messy and their partners are not as responsive. Apart from that, the staff of the cruise and the guides were very nice, we especially enjoyed the guided in Luxor with Salma, she was well-prepared, honest and helpful.

Salma was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The tour was amazing and we learned a lot about the Ancient Egyptian culture. She helped us navigate the day and we had a very good experience.

Laila is the best guide in Luxor. She seems an expert guige in Luxor area. We are so happy with her kindness, historical knowledge and guiding.

Salma is AMAZING! We did a whole day private family tour without any regrets. We visited three different temples and even got VIP treatment by visiting a local stone and scarf store. The day was amazing! It started with a beautiful sunrise from a hot air balloon. After that we went back to the room for a short nap and then went to see temples and tombs all across both banks of Luxor. Out guide Laila was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable! Our driver was great as well!

We had such and amazing day. Salma was a brilliant guide, providing us with so much information around each of our stops and making sure that we were as comfortable as we could be in the heat. We would absolutely return

I would not recommend this tour. The experience of going to temples and riding on the Nile is wonderful but that has nothing to do with this company. I recommend an experience of seeing the beautiful Egyptian history and riding the Nile but not with this company. The company itself is incredibly disorganized. They don’t even contact you about the itinerary until you contact them at the very end of the day. It’s also overpriced for their lack of communication. It’s also not a five star boat as they list. The boat is fine but not five star. I would 100% NOT recommend booking this tour unless you want to work with an agency that does not communicate things clearly. You will have to do a lot of work in organizing things yourself if you book this.

We (myself and my 13 year old son) did a tour in Luxor as part of a cruise package to Aswan. We were picked up by Laila after the balloon ride (which was really nice as well). Laila took us to the Colossi of Memnon to start with. She has a lot of knowledge to share and speaks really good English (which is very nice after having a few experiences here in Egypt with guides who do not master the language that well). The tour is a full programme and she took us to everything a a swift but pleasant way. She helped us navigate the abundance of sellers at all the different temples, made sure the van was ready to pick us up after we visited a sight and made sure we saw everything. As it was ramadan, it wasn't always easy for her, but she always smiled :-). Just good to know on this trip: We saw the Collosi of Memnon, went to the temple of Hatshepsut, the valley of the Kings, an alabaster workshop (where you can buy something or not), and finished at the temple complex of Karnak. Also good to know: all entrance fees need to be paid at the different spots. There is no need to pre buy or book it, although, if you do, it is probably okay as well. At the valley of the kings, we did also purchase the King Tutanchamon viewing. It sure is a personal choice, as the tomb is small...but we really did like it and kind of seemed to be something we had to do as he is the one we really now about. All entrance fees are paid with credit cards, but also bring some cash to pay for the rides at the different sites (is only 20 Egyptian pounds per ticket). Also, make sure you have breakfast before you start as we ended quite late and had ours at around 3 pm. We did buy some crisps and water on the way. You also need some cash to tip if the occasion requires! We didn't visit the temple of Luxor, we could have, but time didn't permit it and preferred to spend more time in Karnak then do both in a short time. Laila is very knowledgeable, her English is excellent!!! So i really got to know the history about the tombs the ancient history of Egypt.
