He is extremely flexible with itineraries and his passion for his job really shows in his work! Highly highly recommend Marco :)Written 16 March 2025

- scottlA9776FH0 contributionsShowed me everything I wanted to see for about $150.tour hit pretty much everything I was looking for with the Pyramids. Started off at the Egyptian antiquities museum after picking us up from the airport hotel(there is a $10 dollar charge per person for airport pickups) The guide met us at the museum. The line to get into the museum is quite long, but it moves fairly quick. Took about 15 minutes to go through security and then actual entry. Our tour guide Farrag was very knowledgeable about the artifacts and took us through the different areas of the museum. the museum tour is roughly 2 hours long and though the Tutankhamun exhibit is still there you are not allowed to take pictures of that section. After the museum we were taken to a papyrus shop where we were shown how papyrus was made and shown various papyrus scrolls for sale( to help appreciate Egypt's history). Most of the items on the wall are for sale in multiple sizes and listed for much higher than they actually sell for. one of my companions bought a scroll for 150 USD but it was listed for around 450 USD. Like every where in Egypt haggling is a thing. I got 2 listed at 80 for 40 each. After the papyrus shop we were taken to the perfume/spices shop( supposedly you wear good scents before you enter the pyramid historically). This place touts well known perfumes/colognes made without the cutting alcohol to reduce the harshness. Personally I don't wear cologne so I have no real opinion on this part, but one of my traveling companions seemed very impressed by this portion and bought several bottles. They sell sizes from 75ml 100ml and 2 larger sizes i didnt pay attention too. My companion bought 3 100ml bottles and got a 4th free for what amounted to around 110 USD. He gave me one of the bottles filled with Amon Ra(Dior Homme). I had no issues bringing this through security in my carry on. After the perfume pitch, they did the same thing with spices, but we did not get any. After the perfume shop we were finally taken to the pyramids. Its an additional 30 USD to actually go inside the main pyramid. What they dont tell you is that the tunnel to the burial room is quite small and not suitable for older folks or less fit people. you will spend a good 15- 20 minutes just crouched down trying to climb up the steep tunnels. Children should be fine as the primary issue is just being crouched down for so long, being short is a pro here(I am not). you physically climb up the first pyramid a bit but the other 2 are just visual observations. You can book a camel ride for an extra 20 USD for about 30 minutes to get closer to the other 2. I very much enjoyed the camel ride and the better views you get from the other side, but it may not be for everyone. After you have your fill of the pyramids, the guide takes you up to the panoramic view area to get better photos of the area. There are many shops around this area. The stock is pretty much the same as everywhere else. The next part is the sphinx. Surprisingly small from what I thought. Still big, but miniscule next to the pyramids. After this we went to get lunch at a Local fast food place. They gave us some riders(like pita calzones). they were pretty good. no complaints. Finally we went to what they called the cotton factory(this was actually like a department store) souvenirs, clothes, luggage, stuff like that. Bought a few things. $99 for tour $10 for airport pickup $30 for pyramid $20 for camel ride Honestly it was annoying that we got funneled to the shops but, I saw everything I wanted to and the guide seemed to know what he was talking about and cared a lot for the history of Egypt. $150 to see all the big things in a place I'm probably never going to see again was worth the trade off to me. Overall i'm totally satisfied with the experience, but I can see other people having some misgivings about the lack of info on the additional expenses and shop stopsWritten 16 March 2025
- traceyk2710 contributionsFantastic experience, great guideFantastic experience. Great way to see the major landmarks and learn about ancient Egypt in a short period of time. Essam was a great guide, very knowledgable and was flexible to make the tour in the way we like. Suggest bringing hand sanitiser if entering inside pyramid.Written 16 March 2025
- Safari082130308520 contributionsUnforgettable Private Tour of Giza, Saqqara & Memphis – A Must-Do! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our private day tour of the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! From the moment we were picked up, our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about Egyptian history. They made every site come alive with fascinating stories and insights, answering all our questions with enthusiasm. The Giza Pyramids were, of course, breathtaking, and having a private guide allowed us to experience them at our own pace, avoiding the crowds and getting the best photo spots. Saqqara was a hidden gem, and we were amazed by the Step Pyramid and the intricate tomb carvings. Memphis, with its colossal statue of Ramses II, was the perfect way to round off the historical journey. Lunch was another highlight—delicious local cuisine in a lovely setting. Everything was well-organized, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the day. If you’re visiting Cairo, this tour is an absolute must. The combination of history, stunning sights, and expert guidance made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!Written 15 March 2025
- Reina P0 contributionsPerfect Day in GizaOur trip to Giza was perfect! We were picked up at our hotel and our guide, Ahmed, took care of everything for us. We also visited the Sphinx, a perfumery, spice merchant and a bazaar. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and engaging. He knew all of the right people to talk to in order to make our day unforgettable. Ahmed is the best!!Written 15 March 2025
- KyleL12100 contributionsA seamless tour around the most hectic locationsOverall an amazing experience only made better by Marco our tour guide and Abdul our Driver but certainly ways to improve. The cost of a private tour was definitely worth it and made it a more personal experience. Marco was very knowledgeable and had amazing communication skills. His experience made the day, knowing every museum staff member, security staff or police. He was able to skip all the queues and get us places other tourists didn’t go through generous “tips” to people (didn’t cost us at all). He was always checking if we wanted more food or water and was always on hand to take photos of us. Every question we had was expertly answered, not only about the venues but Egypt as a whole. Abdul took immense pride in the cleanliness of the vehicle and was always on hand ready to pick us up when we were ready to move onto the next venue. His driving was one of the safest journeys we’ve had so far in Egypt. Now for the critiques, whilst I still rate the whole experience as a 5 star trip there was aspects that detracted. We went to two extra venues, a perfume store (King Soliman) and a papyrus store. In both they performed an educational demonstration before leading into a sales pitch. It felt slightly disingenuous and very much like a targeted tourist trap. Both were not pushy but still unnecessary extra for an otherwise brilliant day. Whilst I’m fully aware these businesses probably pay for the addition to the itinerary, it left a slightly bitter taste. Overall though through the help of Marco and Abdul, our experience of visiting the typical touristy locations was made seamless and I would gladly book again for other tours of Cairo.Written 15 March 2025

- Happiness208347475890 contributionsExtensive knowledge shared with friendly smile. Brigs you outside fringes of regular tours adding amazing variation.Marco gave a fantastic tour of Giza pyramids, sphinx and arranged Camel. Then he brought me back through old Cairo, the hanging church and surrounding area. Next day we went to Saqqara as well as several other amenities. The grand museum and old museum were spectacular. Really appreciated marcos extra knowledge on papyrus and hieroglyphics. Not a tiktok tour!! It’s amazing.Written 14 March 2025

They were on time to pick me, texting me in the morning to inform me of arrival time. I was given lunch, the best falafel in pita . My tour guide was Marco Naguib, he was amazing, so much of knowledge and took me to the best spots for photos, best photography as well. He deserve 5stars⭐️. - 640merielj0 contributionsSee the Pyramids with the best guide. If you want a knowledgeable, fun authentic tour guide then you will not be disappointed. From the minute I was picked up at the hotel to when I was dropped off again in the early afternoon there was never a dull moment. From taking photos, riding a camel learning about the history of the pyramids and why they were built - a completely full morning - with no lines involved - this tour guide will get you up the front of any line and believe me, It is well worth booking with this tour guide. Can’t recommend NEVIN enough you will not be disappointed - I now have a new friend in Egypt 🙌🏼. - Also forgot to mention as we had time and I was a solo tour, we also visited a perfume store, which was another level of entertainment. Nothing is too much trouble and in all a fabulous learning experience.Written 3 March 2025

We incorporated this tour into a much longer tour we are taking with Deluxe Tours. We flew from Cairo where we got assisted the whole time. At Luxor, our tour guide Victor picked us up (28 pax) at the airport and we went straight to the 1st stop: Karnak. Victor is great, he managed to grab everyone's attention while explaining every important detail of the temples and giving us time to take pictures. After Karnak we went to Luxor Temple and from there to the Cruise. Don't expect royal Caribbean type of cruise, but it's a nice place to stay (we in fact cruised through the Nile from Luxor to Aswan). The next day we visited the valley of the kings that is just breathtaking and the Queen's Temple, with a quick stop at the colossus. Overall, our experience was great and we enjoyed so much this Luxor part of our trip, thank you Victor and George "Latif" (our main contact from Deluxe Tours)

We were a very big group of friends and couples, (28 people) and the tour was perfect for all of us. The tour guide, Victor, was amazing!! He was able to give all of the explanations and maintained the 28 people engaged. He was always careful to keep us all together, on time to each location and was aware that the COVID restrictions were followed. It was an incredible experience and extremely comfortable, everything was taken care of by the tour. There is nothing that I would change, the locations that we visited are the most important and shocking to see and learn from!

Luxor is home to the great Karnak and Luxor temples, Queen Hatshepsut temple, and the Kings’ valley, where archeologists found antique pharaohs’ tombs (My favorite place in all Egypt). To get the most out of your experience, I highly recommend having a great tour guide, like Victor. His knowledge about Egyptian culture and storytelling skills transported us to ancient times; Also, his structure and kindness made our travel memorable. Luxor must be on your Egypt to-do list!

Great tour! We were a big group aprox 30 people and they arranged everything from cruise sailing and transfers to internal flights. Ask in advance about packages, extras and mandatory tipping.
Safe and simple! Dont expect any luxury, but very kind and accommodating staff. Great time to travel, as there is few tourists around and is safe.
Ask for Victor! Best tour guide ever, this guy is a living encyclopedia.

It’s was well organized. The tour agent was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mr. Morris arranged my tour to Luxor while I was in Cairo. He always responded to my messages on time and answered all my inquiries. He gave me detailed instructions about my flight and who will be my tour guide once I arrived in Luxor. Highly recommend him for all your Egypt sightseeing tour. No hassle at all.

Victor was the best tour guide ever! He is a highly experience egyptologist, he knew everything about egypt and make it so interesting. He was very kind and patience. We visit the most important locations and he took care we knew everything about each site we visit and answered all of our doubts.
Everything was taken care of by the tour so we could enjoy the most! I would highly recommend taking this tour if you are planning to have a good time in Egypt and especially during COVID, less people!

We’ve had a great time in Egypt. First the pyramids in Cairo, step pyramid and Memphis. Then we flew to Luxor where we embarked on a cruise along the Nile where we did Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Abu Simbel. Great tour guide (Victor) and great covid regulations.
