- 970laniep0 contributionsCherish to remember. Love Egypt❤️The views were amazing. We took a lot of beautiful pictures. Our tourist guide Emy was excellent. She explained all details what we should to know about the history of Egypt. She is also very nice and friendly. It was my first time to visit Egypt and it was so memorable.Written 17 March 2025
- Maps300848029830 contributionsMahmoud took two jetlagged zombies on a tour. And he did a great job.So, picture this: we were basically two walking, talking, jet-lagged zombies. We’d been touring like mad, and honestly, the thought of another "must-see" was making us want to "must-nap" instead. But, we'd booked the "Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Bazaar" with Mahmoud, and let me tell you, he was the absolute MVP. First off, Mahmoud sensed our impending tourist-meltdown the moment he saw us. Instead of dragging us at a breakneck pace, he was like, "Chill, my friends. We'll take it easy." He was basically the Cairo tourism whisperer, adapting the whole tour to our snail-like speed. We shuffled around the Pyramids, and he filled us in on all the juicy gossip about pharaohs and their pointy tombs. He even helped us take those classic "holding the pyramid" photos, which, let's be honest, are essential for Instagram bragging rights. Then, the Egyptian Museum. Now, museums can be a snoozefest, but Mahmoud made it hilarious. He pointed out the weirdest artifacts and told us the most bizarre stories. Like, who knew mummified cats were a thing? Apparently, the Egyptians were serious about their feline friends. And the bazaar? Oh, the bazaar. It's a glorious, chaotic masterpiece. Mahmoud navigated us through the maze of vendors like a seasoned pro, helping us haggle for souvenirs and avoiding the "I'll sell you my cousin's camel for a discount" pitches. He even found us a hidden gem of a tea shop, where we could recharge with some sweet mint tea and watch the madness unfold. Basically, Mahmoud turned what could have been a tourist-torture-session into a fun, relaxed, and surprisingly educational day. He was patient, funny, and genuinely cared about us having a good time. If you're looking for a tour guide who can handle even the most travel-weary souls, Mahmoud is your guy. He's basically the superhero of Cairo tourism, minus the cape (though he totally rocks a stylish scarf). Highly recommended!Written 17 March 2025
- P1977WBjimmyw0 contributionsPerfectly Organized and FunThis was the highlight of my trip, Everything was well-organized, and we had a great time exploring the pyramids and riding camels. The tour was smooth, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cairo.Written 12 March 2025
- Amber96210 contributionsBest tour we have ever done! This was my first time visiting Cairo and as we were only here for one full day, I wanted to make sure we made the most of it. We were collected from the doorstep of our hotel by Mimo (our guide) and Amr (our driver). This was one of the best tours we have ever done. There was no rushing and Mimo was happy to take as many photos as we wanted and to make as many stops as necessary (we had our four year old with us). He was very knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt and we learnt a lot of things that we would not have if we had not had him as a guide. Mimo and Amr also kindly took us back to a shop to get my partner’s necklace fixed as my daughter accidentally broke it. This really meant a lot and was so thoughtful of both of them to go out of their way. I would 100% recommend booking a tour with Mimo and Amr.Written 10 March 2025

- H5067MGamyb0 contributionsBest tour guide ever!My boyfriend and I got the pleasure of spending the day with our amazing guide Mimo, as well as his driver Amr who was always on time and there when we needed. Mimo was an extremely friendly guide who is so passionate about the history of his country Egypt and made the experience unforgettable! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best trip around the beauties of Egypt 😊Written 6 March 2025
- 789jop0 contributionsWhistle stop tour of Cairo’s best bits! What an excellent tour! Everything went really smoothly and in keeping with our requests despite it being Ramadan and needing pick up from the airport which meant some juggling of the normal running order for the day. We had excellent communication from the tour company in the lead up to our big day and our guide and Egyptologist, Mahmoud, was at all times professional, engaging, extremely knowledgable and passionate about showing off the various sites. The museum was a fantastic insight into the ingenuity and culture of the ancient Egyptians but for me the highlight had to be the pyramids - an archaeological miracle with a bit of fun thrown in by riding a camel which is not to be missed ! As has been mentioned in other reviews, we’ve come away with amazing memories thanks to Mahmoud’s other skill as a photographer! Highly recommend the trip and our guide and driver.Written 5 March 2025
- mazd8420 contributionsA must doMimo was our tour guide and Amr was our driver. They were punctual in picking us up and Mimo was so knowledgeable about Egypt and the places we went to. We did so much. From seeing the Pyramids of Giza, the sphinx, seeing artwork, oils and Spices plus going to the bazaar markets. It was definitely worth it and the Lunch we had by the Pyramids was absolutely delicious. We felt safe and accommodated for. Highly recommend this trip if you come to cairo!Written 4 March 2025
- Happiness143589660810 contributionsOutstanding private tourAn incredible experience with Mimo and his driver Emad. From the first minute to the last of our all-day tour our private guide Mimo was fantastic. Enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable, Mimo taught us so much about Egypt across the day and we never once felt rushed. Our driver Emad was excellent and this experience was the highlight of our Cairo holiday. I couldn’t recommend the experience highly enough. Absolutely incredible value. Mimo, a family man, was so friendly also taught us so much about modern day Egypt, and some recent history too. A fabulous day we’ll never forget! To cap it all off Mimo and Emad returned to our hotel to drop off a watch we had accidentally left in the back of the car. Book this tour, you won’t regret it!Written 3 March 2025

- msvaniaw0 contributionsMimo our tour guide and his driver Amr were top notch and amazingly amazing people/team🤩Friend of 25 years Birthday trip February 2025 This is our first time in Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬 to celebrate 🎊 my friend’s birthday! We had an awesome day! Amr drove us to every single place we needed to go while Mimo provided us with the information about each place or location! Mimo was also passionate about the history behind all of the sites that he guided us through; he provided valuable insights into the differences between Giza and Cairo; as well as the population dynamics of each that makes up Egypt. He also, guided us through the various cultural aspects both old and new! When it comes to the historical context of the pyramids, the sphinx and the museum his knowledge was breathtaking!! We were not rushed, we felt guarded, protected, educated and fed in our 8 hours tour and passed the time of the tour until we were escorted back to our hotel! Did I mention that lunch was a great part of his tour; our lunch was ordered before we got to the local restaurant that was rich in culture, architectural style and ambiance that truly made us feel welcome and appreciated! Sorry, I forgot the name of the restaurant but it was amazing 🤩 I must say he gave us the opportunity to choose what we felt comfortable in exploring during our tour whether we wanted to visit all such the papyrus; jewelry; Egyptian cotton and natural oils vendors! Did I mention that Mimo took most of the pictures we needed to memorialize our experiences on this tour 🇪🇬💜🇪🇬 He was truly an amazing person and guide 💜💜💜Written 27 February 2025
- paulinelL4878KA0 contributionsBest trip ever. When I thought about where to spend my birthday, the place that came to mind was Egypt because I wanted to see the pyramid, rid camel in the desert, and see all the different natural herbs and oils. I wanted a tour guide who was well deserved in the culture and history food, and Mimo was that person. I didn't feel rushed and I had the opportunity to redo any of the events I wanted to. He is very attentive, friendly, and speaks clear English. I would take him again when I return to Egypt in the future. The best trip ever. Book with him you won't be disappointed.Written 27 February 2025

We had an amazing time at the tour with Sahl! He showed us the new Civilization Museum, where you can find the royal mummies now (before they were in the Egyptian Museum), and he explained every single thing in the museum for us. Then we went to see one of the hiding places that Mary, Joseph and BABY JESUS stayed while they were in Egypt, on the first months of Jesus life. That was absolutely amazing and I have no words to describe the feeling of being in such important place in the history. And then, we went to a relaxing moment that we needed a lot: a feluca boat in the Nile river. I can assure that was a peaceful day and I am glad we had Sahl with us.
