          Living History
Living History 5 Stars if you are a big history buff Our all day tour to the DMZ was well organized. We left very early so our guide could be first on line at the ticket office. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We just wish she spoke a little slower. We had plenty of time at the DMZ area. Because our tour guide had been first at the ticket office our tour included the monorail ride in and out of the tunnel. People who walked said it was a hard trip down and back up the access tunnel. There are actually two tunnels. The first is a tunnel dug by South Korea to provide access to the tunnel dug by North Korea to send soldiers (to attack) South Korea. The access tunnel is a very steep grade. At the bottom of the access tunnel there was a long queue of people waiting to visit the demarcation (sealed up) at the end of North Korean infiltration tunnel. The infiltration tunnel is cramped, wet and slippery. On the way to the Gamaksan Chulleong Suspension Bridge we went past a war monument but could not stop as it was not part of our tour. A quick stop of five minutes would have been appreciated. The walk to the Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge is up a steep hill that has webbed straw on the path. It is not a hike for everyone. Other then the bridge and its scenery here is nothing else. I would recommend just to visit the DMZ area and monuments: - Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - Unification village - Dora Observatory (a view from S Korea looking toward N Korea.)

Great visit thanks to small group organization
Excellent organization by Vincent. Since we were in a small group, he reversed the order of visits to avoid the large bus groups. Very interesting explanations about Korean history and current events

          Amazing tour, highly recommend it!
I booked the DMZ tour for my birthday and chose the small group option. Our guide, Joo-Ee, was excellent—she was prompt in all communications leading up to the pick-up, which was right on time at the hotel. The van was comfortable, and Joo-Ee was extremely knowledgeable about the places, events, and current affairs surrounding the DMZ. She provided thorough explanations and patiently answered individual questions. One thing I especially appreciated was how she made sure to take everyone's photos, particularly for those traveling solo. No one had to ask for pictures—it was thoughtfully taken care of. She also pointed out hidden gems, like the map on the floor showing the North-South Korea border, which many people didn’t know about. Additionally, she brought enough binoculars for everyone at the Dora Observatory so we could all see into North Korea, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, the tour was incredibly enjoyable, and I highly recommend it, especially with Joo-Ee as your guide and the small group option.

          Fantastic DMZ tour
This was such an interesting tour! Our guide Joo-Ee was very knowledgeable and her English was perfect. Being in a smaller group was great as it was more personal and more comfortable. We would 100% recommend this tour for anyone who visits Seoul.

Great experience! Walks are a little tough.
Great experience and very interesting. Just be aware the walks down the 3rd tunnel and the bridge walk is a little physical. The company was great as the original time we arrived the tours were cancelled due to the heavy snow. They allowed us to re-book another day at no cost.

          Exceptionally well-run tour!
This was an extremely well-run tour. Pre-communication from the tour guide (Vincent) was helpful and hotel pick-up was precisely on-time. Vincent is exceptionally knowledgeable about the histories of South and North Korea. We learned so much and especially enjoyed the smaller group setting. The suspension bridge was an added treat!

Great day trip to the DMZ. Very interesting and well run
Joo-Ee was the best guide and made this tour really interesting. She provided not only relevant information but also added personal perspectives which made it unique. It’s an interesting idea to make a continuing war and the resultant DMZ a tourist destination but it seems to work with our fascination for the what seems like a dark and forbidding world just across a 10km wide strip of land. The tunnel wasn’t too exerting but you do have to bend over in parts and it is narrow. The observation deck was a bit surreal looking at another country that is so shuttered. On the way back the suspension bridge was great and a beautiful walk through the forest and snow. Everything ran like clockwork. Transport was great. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

          Informative and well organised!
This small group DMZ tour was great. Our guide Vincent was so organised and coordinated a great day for us. It was an early start which meant we were on the first shuttle bus and didn’t have to wait around for a long time. We enjoyed the day out learning about the DMZ from Vincent and would recommend a small group tour to everyone over a big bus tour! Be mindful you can’t take photos in a lot of places.

Incredible DMZ Tour with an Amazing Guide!
We recently took a small group tour to the DMZ, including the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and the suspension bridge, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was seamless, starting with the hotel pickup, which was punctual and hassle-free. Our guide, Vincent, truly made the experience unforgettable. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable and informative but also had a great sense of humor, which made the tour both educational and enjoyable. His insights into Korea’s history and the significance of the DMZ were captivating, and he answered all of our questions with enthusiasm and expertise.

This is my second time opting for a day trip with Here Korea Travel. This time round we went to Jeonju in a bigger group.
I was quite fascinated by Jeonju Hanok Village as it is quite big and so much to explore there. We also rented Hanbok from this amazing Hanbok studio recommended by our tour guide.
Besides, We visited the Gyeonggijeon Shrine and Jeongdong Catholic Church as well which were such enriching and beautiful places.

Han is our tour guide for that day. He is bubbly, fun and accommodating. As we have old folks in this trip, he makes sure that they are alright and comfortable.
Would like to thank him for driving us safely to and fro from Seoul as it was quite a tiring 3hr drive (3hr is just one way).
Thank you again Here Korea Travel! My family and I enjoyed this amazing trip!
