Since 1953, Korea has been divided into two separate countries, now known as South and North Korea. North Korea has become a more of closed off country with widespread poverty and ever- lasting dictatorship while South Korea has been continuously developing as one of the leading countries economically, sharing its culture with the rest of the world.
The DMZ area is the only place that you can see the reality of the most divided nations in the world. This tour includes an entry to the most tensed military zone in the world, tour guides who are designated and certified by Korean Army, shuttle bus, and entrance fees to venue that help you explore and understand the history of war and the current situations between these two countries whilst other so called “Big Dogs” have very close eyes on the Korean Peninsula.
You will also appreciate the fact that our North Korean defector will give you vivid information on North Korea that you would’ve never heard before, and get a chance to ask questions you would always want to ask when facing a real North Korean. They will also let you know the difference living in both South and North Korea in which might shock you and appreciate what you have around you.
The most visited and richly educative places within this DMZ tour include the Third Tunnel Experience, which was designed to invade South Korea by tanks, the observatory where you can view North Korean residents, the War History Pavilion, and Imjingak.
