Overview

No visit to Seoul is complete without a day trip to Namiseom (Nami) Island and Petite France, two fascinating cultural landmarks in South Korea. This hassle-free tour transports you to the attractions, plus the Garden of Morning Calm, with ease, and includes entrance fees and hotel pickup and drop-off. A small group limited to 11 means you’ll receive personalized attention from your guide.

What to Expect
The day will start with pick up from your hotel between 7:30am and 8am via a comfortable and spacious 11-passenger vehicle. From there, we will make the approximately 1.5 hour drive to Nami Island (entrance fee via ferry included).

Nami Island is famous for being a shooting site of the hit Korean drama "Winter Sonata." It is also famous for the scenic tree lined roads that offer spectacular views of autumn foliage, but the scenery is beautiful year round. There are also fun activities available such as zipwire, bike riding, electronic car tour, and many more. These activities are optional and not covered by the standard entrance fee.

After Nami Isand, head over to Chuncheon City to try the city's world famous Dakgalbi dish (spicy stir fry chicken). Non spicy and other meal options are available for all types of dietary restrictions as well.

From there, head to the nearby Garden of Morning Calm. Garden of Morning Calm is the oldest private garden in Korea. It is an artistic space with a beautiful balance between the Korean concept of natural curves with asymmetry, and plants with synthetic materials. Scenic walkways, beautifully manicured grass, and flower beds connect the garden's 20 different themed sections.

The last site of the day is Petit France. Nestled in the hills, you would think that you have arrived at a real French village in the Alps. The village is inspired by the famous French novel "Le Petit Prince." The village actually contains a memorial hall to Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the author of "Le Petit France." Enjoy a mix of food, shops, performances, and French culture.

Finally, the tour will end with drop off at your hotel.

Beautiful lighting at Garden of the Morning Calm

Nami Island was a frozen winter wonderland with Ice sculptures and Tobogganing for the kids. The village was very pretty and the pancakes was delicious. Paid homage to Winter Sonata and it was a beautiful walk around the island

Definitely, you should use private tour. It’s difficult to travel by yourself with old people. I think most of the tourist places have wheelchairs. You can ask tour guide to help you to organize.
