This tour was really good and our tour guide Bibi had a lot of knowledge! We started with pick up at 05:40 outside our hotel. We initially booked the 10 am tour, but was contacted on Whatsapp the day before and advised to go earlier in order to be ensured tickets (cannot be bought beforehand). Bibi managed to secure the tickets for 10:50, so before that she gave an informative tour of Freedom Bridge and the surrounding area. The rest of the waiting time was spent in the rest area which has some restaurants. The first stop when we entered DMZ was The Third Infiltration Tunnel, which was fascinating to see. It's easy going down, but can be a bit hard on the way back up. The next stop was Dora Observatory where we got a view over North Korea. Free binoculars were provided for better view. Along the way and on each stop Bibi provided good (and sometimes funny) commentary, so I would totally recommend this tour! The drop-off was at Hongdae or City Hall around 2 pm.

It was an early morning to secure our tickets when the ticket booth opened since there are limited available tickets because of covid. The whole tour was something I would honestly go on again to look around more and take more pictures. My tour guide was Julie and she was so knowledgeable and gave us recommendations on where to eat and explained everything to us. She even brought some snacks for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend going on this tour whether you're alone or with friends or family. It is one of the highlights of my trip to Korea.

Be prepared to show up super early for pickup since the DMZ is only allowing a certain amount of people to tour with covid. Our tour guide was very informative and was very precise with the time in each area. It was a great experience to be there since certain areas you can’t take a camera. You certainly get to brush up on the history of the Korean War. Thank you Ms. Park for an informative and fun tour!

The tour operator contacted us a day before the trip to confirm time and location for meetup. Our tour guide Bibi and the driver is early and picked the group up promptly and on time. Bibi is friendly and briefed the group about the history of DMZ and Korean war. She is clear in giving instruction hence the itineraries are followed through smoothly without much delay. As it is rather a big group, we can see Bibi is trying her best to accomodate to the group as much as she can. Overall, recommend this tour to the DMZ that one should experience when we visit Seoul.
P/s. It would be nice if we can drop by the supermarket stop though…

Julie park led an English tour of the DMZ, and was was an amazing guide that shared much knowledge of the DMZ and its’ history. She was very clear and concise, and was able to manage the timeline of the day such that we finished the tour in a timely manner but were still able to see all the sites. Would definitely recommend her and this tour company for anyone interested in visiting the DMZ

This tour was very educational and fascinating. Our tour guide Julie Park was incredibly well spoken, charming, funny, and fluent in English, making our experience very easy and memorable. She provided a dense amount of information, while staying surprisingly time efficient and prompt. This tour was also very considerate of the group members' requests and needs. All of our questions were thoroughly answered, and gave everyone a very user friendly experience. I highly recommend this tour, and Julie specifically, for those interested in learning about the history and current status between South and North Korea.

This tour is a well oiled machine - the tour picked us up right on time from our hotel and got the required paperwork done quickly so we could get on the road.
Our guide Bibi was fantastic - she gave us the history of the DMZ, the do and don’ts of the area (as ultimately this is a heavily policed facility) so that we were aware of what was going to happen every step of the way. Bibi is very enthusiastic and entertaining and described very well all the landmarks and history behind the various sights.
I’d highly recommend joining this tour if you’re looking to visit the DMZ.

Booking with the Seoul city tour online was easy - booked it in the middle of the night and the tour operator responded in the morning. Payment for this tour is also convenient as they accept credit card payment after we boarded the bus.
The trip to DMZ was interesting and it is a MUST to go when in Seoul.
Laura our tour guide was pleasant and her English was clear and very friendly. She is definitely experience and she keeps her cool. She kept the group together and we were pretty much on time.
I think perhaps we should be given slightly more time when in the imjigak village so that we can actually browse in the shops longer.
Overall, I think it is one of the best experience in South Korea. Thanks !

The tour guide Julie Park gave very interesting and engaging talks about Korean history and it's easy to understand even for people who do not have background knowledge of the history. Throughout the trip, she was very patient in guiding us and telling us what we can or cannot do. She will even help us to take photos. She constantly checks that everyone is present before she begins her talk or she moves on to another location. This tour is educational and engaging with her lead.

This tour was run really smoothly and was super interesting and educational! I’d highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the area around the DMZ and learn more about it. Tour guide was really nice and her English was great, she really did her best to tell us as much as possible about the history of the DMZ in the context of the Korean War. She did sometime speak very quickly which made some things difficult to understand.

Is it better to go in the morning or afternoon? Thanks
I think the earlier the better. They only allow a certain amount of busses in so I think the earlier you go, the less you have to wait for them to let you in.
Can I visit Dorasan station and JSA in this tour?
Rupy J
Billington, UK9 contributions
The Dora Observatory was included in the tour, but the JSA could not be visited due to the current political situation. However, it's worth checking with the tour operator as it's a fluid situation and so can change at fairly short notice.
How much is the fee for hotel pick up? Do you pick up from outside the Dragon Hill Lodge? What is the cost for the tram. It says excluded in the price is gratuities, tram and drop off. Thank you
