Small-Group Korean Night Food Tour

South Korean cuisine can seem dauntingly diverse, but with a little bold experimentation your taste buds could soon be tingling. On this Seoul walking tour, you'll delve into the local food scene and stop at three guide-recommended restaurants and a food market. Sample local beverages, such as makgeolli and soju that you may otherwise have missed and enjoy personal attention in a group limited to 12 people.
What to Expect
Start your tour in the evening near Anguk Subway Station in central Seoul, then head into the bustling streets of Nagwon-dong. With your guide to lead the way, step off the tourist trail and savor the flavors popular among Seoulites.

In your small group—limited to 12 people—you'll visit outlets and street food stalls, and sample tasty treats such as dubu (stir-fried tofu), kimchi (fermented cabbage), and spicy braised chicken. Along the way, listen as your guide sheds light on the role food plays in South Korean culture.

Sample savory pancakes at a shijang (traditional flea market), and taste popular Korean alcoholic beverages including makgeolli and soju. Afterward, head on to the bustling Jongno district to conclude your tour among newfound friends in the neighborhood bars.

Nice Tour

The food was amazing. We were able to try many different types of Korean food although I didn't like every dish. The guide was knowledgable and nice. I would highly recommend.

Food is mediocre, meeting point is difficult to find. They should meet at subway station instead.

Food is mediocre. Meeting point is difficult to locate. They should arrange to meet at subway stations instead. Make sure u leave 30 mins to look for a building with locked chain.....

You need to contact the company doing the tour, O’ngo Foods Communication. Google ongofood. My tour did not include any pork—it was all beef and chicken.
