Tour starts at 10 am from picking you up from your hotel/accommodation by English speaking guide and private comfortable car . For first day: Explore the Georgian capital of
Tbilisi where you will discover places such as the
Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi and the 13th century churches of
Metekhi. Walking through the old part of the city, you can explore the
Freedom square, main
Mother of Georgia,and the waterfall and bath-house district in
Meidan square. You will see incredible views from mount
Mtatsminda where you go by teleferik. After visiting Tbilisi we will go to
Mtskheta which was capital of Georgia. We will see old town of
Mtskheta Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Jvari Monastery.
On second day there is a tour in Mount
kazbegi. Departure from Tbilisi early in the morning, at the direction of
Kazbegi.(160km) through the Georgian Military Road, it runs between Tbilisi (Georgia) and
Vladikavkaz (Russia).On the way there are very interesting places to visit.
Ananuri fortress, which is a XVI century castle complex on the Aragvi River. The Ananuri fortress stands beside the famous Georgian Military Highway overlooking a large Jinvali lake, Its high, turreted stone walls protect two churches, a watch tower and a reservoir. Next stop on the way in
Gudauri is remarkable ski resort in Georgia.(winter time) Its 2200 meters above the sea level. We will stop at
Gudauri panorama, where you can take really amazing photos of beautiful landscapes and huge mountains. after half an hour driving we reached
kazbegi we need special 4x4 jeep that drives to holy trinity monastery called
Gergeti is 13th century active monastery. From monastery there is wonderful views and you can see mount kazbegi which is 5047 meters altitude.
On 3rd day of programe we will visit
Uplistsikhe is an ancient Rock-town in Eastern Georgia, some 10 kilometers East of the town of Gori. Uplistsikhe is identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Strategically located in the heartland of ancient kingdom of Kartli. Around 3000 people were living in rock caves town. Each caves had it definitions for what it was using: there were places for living, caves for vineries, theater, king halls etc. During our trips if needed we can stop for restaurants where you can taste Georgian foods. Such as dumplings, khachapuri.
