What to Expect
Meet a guide in Yangon for the trip to Chaukhtatgyi Paya, whose massive and intricately decorated reclining Buddha is among the city’s most important religious sights; you may see monks from nearby monasteries leaving offerings. Next, walk through a local neighborhood to Kandawgyi Park, where you’ll enjoy views of Shwedagon Pagoda across Kandawgyi Lake. Pause for a refreshing tea or coffee in a local teahouse; this is a great time to discover the distinctive way that Myanmar’s people prepare these drinks. The final stop is the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s undisputed highlights.   • Dress in Myanmar is conservative, so lightweight, long-sleeved clothing is appropriate. Skirts, dresses, and shorts should be knee-length or lower. Wear comfortable walking shoes and check the weather before you leave
  • Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a raincoat if necessary
  • For your Urban Adventure you will be in a small group of a maximum of 12 people.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel at least 4 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 3 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

My tour guide was Kay who was fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. She is a lovely person and organized. Additionally, she knew where the best places to get local snacks are.
