To say this tour was disappointing is an understatement It started at hour late We weren’t back in our hotel until 6:30pm (the guide had already left us - with the driver who spoke no English) All day it was obvious neither the guide or driver were confident of the tour not

Dear Mrs. O'Mahony, we're so sad that you're unhappy with the tour. But: we actually advised you the day before about schedule change (it can happen, our duty is to inform on time). Furthermore we followed the description of the tour without exceptions. Text online: "At 8 am you will be picked up at your hotel by your private tour guide. At first, this tour takes you to the village of Yaguarón. Here you will visit the famous church of San Buenaventura. Then, after having passed Paraguarí and Piribebuy, you will arrive in Caacupé, the most important pilgrimage site in South America. The day trip continues with the visit of the village of San Bernadino, which was founded in 1881 by Friedrich Nietzsches´ sister, a well-known German writer. The next stop is Areguá, one of the capitals of ceramic art & crafts. The tour finally ends with the visit of Luque a village famous for its jewelry production." You actually visited all mentioned cities with their attractions (Yaguarón, Caacupé, San Bernardino, Areguá and Luque) as well as others not mentioned, such as Altos, Pyrayú, Itá, Ypacaraí. That was an improvisation of the guide, trying to make you happier. We hope, you will enjoy the rest of your stay in Paraguay anyway. Best regards, Discover South America
