Our tour guide Tariq, was amazing, he was super friendly and very knowledgeable about Qatar. The 4x4 was a good way to start the tour as your riding in an enclosed area. You could upgrade to a dune buggy at an additional cost. The camel experience could’ve been a little longer, it was honestly just for the photo. The sand dune travel by car was the best part. He taught us about the history of the country and city, and took extra care to show us the best parts of the souq and made sure we always had great shots for our photo albums. He was great at communication, messaged my husband and I the day before to set up arrangements and even moved to a later time for us (as we wanted to be there during the sunset). He picked us up from our hotel, brought us to the ATVs which were so fun, then the camel riding then the sand dunking which he was our driver for was super fun and had our adrenaline rushing. We stopped at a few spots to take pictures and he took the best pictures of my husband and I! Made our pics look like they were taking from a professional camera. Nabi, our desert tour guide, took my four friends and me on an unforgettable night desert tour. The first part of the journey was a ten-minute camel ride at the base of the sand dunes. Riding camels felt very different from horseback riding. We sat between two humps on sturdy mares, which made us feel safer and warmer, especially in the chilly winter night winds.
The second part of the tour was an exhilarating 4x4 ride. Nabi skillfully drove us through deep sand ridges and plunged his jeep into steep dunes, sending our hearts racing with every dip and climb. The thrill and excitement were unmatched, and we couldn’t stop laughing and shouting with joy.
Finally, Nabi took us to the shore of the Arabian Sea, where we witnessed the amazing sight of fish jumping out of the water. The whole experience was unique, thrilling, and a perfect way to end the night.

We had an incredible experience with Mr Hassan! As we drove through the city to collect the couple sharing the experience with us, our guide told us more about the city and pointed out landmarks.
The entire experience was just absolutely amazing, and we would 100% recommend that all visitors to Qatar go on this outing. I would go again over and over!

Got the night safari as a birthday gift, and it was a real treat. Our guide, Waqas, made the journey very pleasant with stops every now and then, help with taking pictures by night, very positive and smiley attitude. We enjoyed the different activities and desert by night just hits different with moonlight, sky full if stars and fresh breeze, recommend 100% the experience.

it was an amazing evening and our driver Mujahid was super experienced and knew the desert intimately. He was able to give us the thrill of dune bashing in the dark, never knowing what to expect around the next bend or corner. He was also very knowledgeable about the geography and culture and gladly answered our many questions. He gave us ample opportunity to take photos, listen to the wind and just enjoy the moment. I highly recommend Falcon Tours and Mujamid.

Our first visit to Doha was an incredible experience, and we are so glad we booked this tour. Mujahid, our guide, made the entire experience absolutely wonderful and memorable.
The tour began with a drive to the desert. On the way, Mujahid shared highlights of the city's various buildings and fascinating insights into its rich history. We had already seen the buildings during the day, which allowed us to appreciate their architecture, but the lights at night transformed them into something truly magical.
We enjoyed a short camel ride as a photo opportunity and then relaxed with delicious tea while Mujahid prepared the vehicle for dune bashing. We opted for the night tour, which turned out to be a fantastic choice, offering stunning photo opportunities with no one else in sight for miles.
The ocean shimmering under the moonlight created the perfect backdrop for photos. Mujahid, an exceptional photographer, not only crafted a memorable experience but also captured breathtaking landscape shots.
We can’t wait to return and experience the desert during the day. Without hesitation, we’ll book with Mujahid again for another unforgettable adventure!

We had a great experience only because our driver Kalifa was the best. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. He explained and pointed out all the interesting sites on our drive out to the desert. He was also very personable and shared his family stories as well as Qatari culture and people. He is also a safe and expert driver. You have nothing to fear when he’s driving you on the sand dunes. Ask for him.
Now as to the excursion itself, going out to the desert and seeing where the desert meets the sea, and driving on the sand dunes are worth doing. We would do that again, with Kalifa. But we would skip the camel ride and the bbq dinner. The camels looked to be not well cared for. The ride was short and gimmicky. Only for pictures. Not more than 5 minutes along the road. The bbq dinner was a huge disappointment. The food was very basic and the meat skewers were tasteless and dry. The worse food we’ve had anywhere in the region. And we paid significantly more to add the dinner option to the regular desert tour package. It’s not only about the money but the experience was not good. The camp was crowded and loud music was blasting, bright lights were everywhere. It took so much away from the experience of being in a special landscape.
In summary, I only gave this review 5 stars because I did not want to hurt Kalifa. It was not his fault that the dinner and the Bedouin camp experience were very disappointing. Do the tour. Ask for Kalifa. Skip the dinner.

The daytime dune bashing with Falcon Tours is better than the night-time one (speaking as someone who has done both tours). If you have a choice between either the night or day tour, I would highly recommend the day tour instead.
I also suggest that you contact Falcon Tours directly instead of booking on this website; I found that it was nearly half the price when contacted directly.
Hotel pickups are very punctual. Shah Jahan was an incredibly friendly tour guide who had endless stories to share about his time in Qatar. He would answer all the questions I had and gave me a great experience. He's a real gentleman who is very respectful of other religions. He also gave me the impression that he's very respectful towards women, so if you are a solo female traveler who is worried about safety, it might be a good choice to specifically ask for him.
The desert is mostly dark and it's hard to see anything (including the views from the inline beach). The dune bashing is much less thrilling at night when the headlines only illuminate a few meters ahead of the car. However, the desert at night is a cool experience for people traveling in groups or with their partners. They can stop and lie down in the sand - gazing at a large number of stars and have a great night. As a solo traveler, it was more impressive in the daytime.
They are experienced with people doing short layovers in Qatar and will ensure a punctual pickup and drop from the airport.

Jawid was absolutely amazing!. He went above and beyond by capturing many incredible photos for us, even taking shots until 11 pm. I highly recommend this night desert trip, especially with Jawid - it's definitely a highlight of our travel experience

Brilliant excursion into the desert! First stop for a camel ride, followed by a bit of dune bashing (more thrilling in the dark of night), some sand boarding on the huge dunes and then followed by a stop by the Arabian Sea to look out and see the stunning nights sky full of stars.
Our guide, Hassan, brilliant through out, on time collection and very knowledgeable. Giving us some insight into Qatar as it was our first time here. Driving skills were especially good! Superb evening to spend doing.

I had a 1 week stay in Qatar, i booked this desert safari tour, i saw the reviews alternative companies among them falcon tour had the best reviews. A car came to pick us up from hotel, my tour guide driver was Saleem he gave me all the details about qatar routes, He was really friendly and having good communication than we went to desert and i rode camel and it was really awesome experience, and saleem took my pictures with falcon, saleem started dune bashing and the way he was driving was really skilled I haven’t seen someone driving in that way before than we had a stop up on the dunes whilst saleem took my pictures . We had a stop at inland sea it was really fun . All the reviews were legitimate and the experience was worth it.
I would recommend everyone to have a tour with falcons.

How long will the driver wait for guests? Cuz I will land in Doha at 20:45pm, I wanna join the Tour starts at 10 pm. Definitely I hope can pass the customs fast, will 10 pm time slot suitable for me?

I land in Qatar at 16:25 on January 4, 2020 with a departure at 03:40 am. Will that be enough time to book the 19:00 tour? I’m not sure how long it takes to get out of the airport.

Yes you will definitely have time to do this tour and get back in time for your next flight. We met our driver and it took about 45 minutes to get out to the desert. Just message them about your flight time and they will message you back. And just a little tip - make sure and use the bathroom before you leave the airport, as there is nowhere to go on the tour.
