First stop off for a camel ride and photo op and then over the dunes towards the inland sea. Excellent driving/sliding across the dunes….. not for the faint hearted… but Sayed is clearly highly skilled at driving in the desert! Next stop sand boarding and then on to the inland sea before heading back in to town. Great morning out, thank you Sayed.Written 22 March 2025

The dune bashing was a highlight and the photos with the camels on the ride as a great reminder of the time we had. Our guide Mujahid made the trip; he drove carefully, gave just the right amount of information about places we passed and most of all he made us relax and enjoy. As we made the trip during the fasting month of Ramadan he invited us for Iftar with his colleagues, a fantastic experience with friendly people and great food, fruit and sweets. That we will never forget.

I am not someone who would normally write a review but I had such an amazing time on this safari that it compelled me to write one. My husband booked the safari for us on my birthday and we had so much fun that it made my birthday one of the best ones. Our driver Naveed Afridi is an excellent driver and the most gracious of hosts. And above all, he is an excellent photographer that has great knowledge on how to work the camera and the desert, and picked us the best places for taking those pictures. He is really helpful, he told us about all the places we could go visit and all the things Doha has to offer for tourists. He kept checking on us to ensure we are comfortable and are not short of water or anything else.
The tour is the best attraction Doha has to offer, and you will really love this tour. The view for the whole journey is breath taking and when they drive over the sand dunes...the experience is really something you have to have, its like your own personal roller coaster. The sea is another surprise, its surreal to watch the vast desert meeting the enormous sea.
The best thing about the safari was that we were not rushed to leave any of the stops. We took our time to take pics and admire the view. This safari is worth every penny and thanks to Naveed, we took some e amazing pics too(that's a bonus). This was our first time going for dessert safari and we will definitely recommend this to everyone to definitely invest half a day on this. It's a different experience altogether and you're surely gonna love it.

We did the sunset desert tour with Bilal and we had a blast! We were picked up from the hotel and drove about 45 minutes towards the first stop, camel riding.
The camels were ginormous and though it was fun, the setting was too touristic. So it is between a road and the start of the dunes, you walk on the camel for 30 meters and back, and take some pictures. You don’t even walk on the sanddunes. This should be called photoshoot on camels and is not worth the money.
However, afterwards is sand bashing during sunset, and that is exhilarating and very fun! Bilal is a very skilled driver! Afterwards we stopped two times to enjoy the sunset, and also sandboard a bit.
Booking this experience was a bit of a hassle though. We tried booking it through the form on the website. When we didn’t get a reaction I emailed the company 2 times without an email back. Lastly I whatsapped the company and through whatsapp the communication was very easy and quick luckily.
So, overall we had a really fun time and Bilal was great. But, a bit overpriced for what you get.

My husband and I went on a sunset tour with Naveed, and he was such a delight! He took us dune bashing, sand surfing, and to the beach. he made sure to stop at anything we wanted to see— I wanted to see a desert flower, so he took us on a detour and drove around until he found me one. We had lots of time at the beach, too. As we were driving back, we wanted to see the sunset so even though our time was up, Naveed dropped us at the top of a dune and let us stay there to watch the sunset. Then he invited us to eat Iftar, gave us extra tea, and took us back an hour and a half after our tour was supposed to be up! So lovely to have that extra time, and an unexpected meal. Naveed was so much fun to joke around with, but also gave us enough time to ourselves. All in all such a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone!

We had a trip with Mujahid and the tour exceeded our expectation. The time flew during the trip.
We started the trip with camel ride, dune bashing, sand boarding and ending the trip with the view of sunset.
The trip started and ended on time with experienced guide tour. Highly recommended.

Naveed was a fantastic tour guide! My husband and I felt safe and had wonderful adventures on this tour. Each section (the ATV ride on the sand dunes, a quick camel ride, sunset photos on the dunes, sand boarding, and dipping our feet in the Persian Gulf) were perfectly timed. The car ride over the dunes was exhilarating! Highly recommend.

Definitely a lot of fun. Seeing Qatar in a new way, trying several unique activities in one afternoon while taking in amazing sights. You will get lots of sand on you and inside your clothes so dress appropriately. Was also cool to see the sunset then pray Maghrib prayer with strangers praying in congregation.

This tour is a worth it as it was one of the best dessert tours I have ever done. I would specially like to thank Mr. Naveed who was an amazing tour guide and made the tour more fun. He was very polite, helpful and covers all the places properly. The places he took too were amazing and took amazing pictures as well. He was very cooperating as well. The best thing was that he made sure we are enjoying and having fun and are satisfied.
I highly recommend anyone visiting Doha to take this tour. I would say anyone booking a trip with falcon should ask for Mr. Naveed as the tour guide. It was the perfect sunny day to do the tour and enjoyed a lot.

Tour guide Khalid has been really helpful and friendly throughout the trip, as he offered to help us with photos and introduced us to different attractions on the way. The trip itself was also entertaining. The camel riding was a new experience, and the dune bashing was fun, especially with the stuns by Khalid. I really recommend this tour.

Wow! What a trip a 4 hour which consisted of a camel ride, dune bashing, watching the beautiful sunset and then more picturesque scenes where the desert meets the sea.
