Supremely well organized tour, highly recommended!
We did a 6 day tour with Petra Nights Tours, covering Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Amman, The Baptism Site, Madaba, Mt Nebo and the Dead Sea. We had an absolutely wonderful time, stayed in great hotels, but the best part was the seamless arrangements, from being met at the airport by Husan with our pre-arranged visas, to having Oqba as our driver (who was an incredible font of knowledge about Jordan, and a wonderful guide to the best Jordanian food!). We also had Mohammed as our tour guide for Jerash, Amman and the trip to the Dead Sea, he is as much a history enthusiast as a tour guide. We didn't follow the advertised route, but Petra Nights were very accommodating and flexible and changed things around to suit us. All in all, we left Jordan with a love for the country and it's people!

          The 2 Mohameds Rocks!
Our recent trip to Jordan was made exceptional by the outstanding service of Mohamed Najar, our tour guide, and Mohamed Masoud, our driver. Mohamed Najar’s deep knowledge and passion for Jordan’s history and culture shone through at every site we visited. He patiently answered all our questions, shared fascinating stories, and brought the country’s rich history to life with his engaging explanations. Meanwhile, Mohamed Masoud impressed us with his expert driving skills, ensuring a smooth and safe journey through Jordan’s diverse landscapes, from bustling city streets to remote desert roads. Both were incredibly friendly and accommodating, treating us more like family than clients. Their attention to our comfort and security was evident throughout the trip, and they went out of their way to make sure every moment was memorable, from recommending local dining spots to stopping for stunning photo opportunities. Traveling with Mohamed Najar and Mohamed Masoud was a perfect blend of professionalism, warmth, and reliability. For anyone planning a trip to Jordan, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

          Fantastic trip to Jordan.
Fantastic experience in Jordan. Our driver and guide was Fadi. He made the trip fun and enjoyable. Petra, Wadi Rum, Amman, Mt. Nebo, Madaba, Dead Sea were all worth seeing. We will visit again to cover remaining spots in Jordan and will engage the same company.

Perhaps the best Driver in Jordan!!!
When I arrived in Jordan from Egypt, I didn’t think it could get better—-until we met our driver/guide Mohammad Masoud! For the drive from Amman to Wadi-Rum and then to Petra, he answered all of our questions and always added a little local flavor. We stopped two times on the way to Rum to see sites and once to eat. After our time in the Rum with another driver, Mohammad then took us to our hotel in Wadi-Musa. The next day we spent at Petra (a quick note- when you are told the Monastery is a hard walk, believe them).Again, Mohammad went above and beyond to make this as easy and enjoyable as possible. Anyone who doesn’t try to get Mohammad (Mahmood) as your driver is making a mistake.

          Excellent driver/ guide
I just wanted to give some feedback about our driver in Jordan Mohammad Masoud. Mohammad has been excellent these last few days and we are so happy!! He is patient, personable, and we never felt rushed. He took his time to take care of us and we can see he is very concerned about our comfort and well-being. He is a safe driver. He was especially good with my 3 children and all the interruptions involved with kids travelling. He always catered to our needs and he was an excellent match for our family! Thank you Mr Masoud!!

          Fabulous tour!!
This was a GREAT family tour. Nine days in Jordan. It was well-planned and had a terrific itinerary. It was seamless. Our tour guide Freddy (aka Mohammad) was fantastic-- very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, friendly, on time, sincere, and fun. There is nothing I would have changed about it. I will definitely take another tour with this company. They are the best I have found!

          Fabulous Circuit Around Jordan
We had 2 awesome circuits with Booking Jordan Tours in October and November 2023 and both our holidays were fantastic. We managed to see the most important and interesting sights around Jordan: Amman, Petra, Jerash, Mount Nebo, Aqaba, Wadi Rum, the Water Canyons, the hot springs and much more. All this at ease, we were not in a hurry so that we could fully enjoy all the places. Comfortable bus, nice hotels, experienced drivers. Special thanks to our Romanian speaking local guide Hussam Y for all the information he shared with us - a very good organizer so that we always arrived in time everywhere to enjoy the schedulleld activities. Thank you Sabine, Hussam F and all the team for this great experience in Jordan. We felt safe and secure, we did appreciate your help and support especially because of the current situation. We wish you all the best we will definitely be back next year. See you soon! Diana & the Romanian groups

          Superb service
We booked a seven-day tour with Booking Jordan Tours, mainly to cover the driving between the places we wanted to visit, but also to arrange an overnight camp, plus camel and 4x4 tours at Wadi Rum, and we were delighted with every aspect of the service we received. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver. Ahmad was unfailingly friendly and helpful, accommodating last minute changes to our plans without difficulty and offering spot on suggestions to enhance the trip, such as stopping to admire the fabulous mosaics and breathtaking views from Mt Nebo en route from Madaba to the Dead Sea. Even more significantly, he was able to tell us a lot about the country we were driving through and give us some real insight into life in Jordan from the perspective of a Jordanian. It often felt like he was our guide and friend as well as our driver. The car was cool and comfortable, equipped with water bottles and wifi, and it was always there at or before the appointed time. The camp that was booked for us at Wadi Rum was a delight and the desert tours amazing, particularly the 4x4 one. This took us to some quite extraordinary landscapes which genuinely were deserted, away from the more popular landmarks, although we did visit some of these too. The local driver was very friendly, spoke good English and was a pleasure to deal with. I must also add that arranging the trip was very straightforward and the price was very reasonable compared to other companies we approached with similarly high rankings on Tripadvisor. Mohammad responded very promptly and helpfully to all our questions and the company facilitated online credit card payments, in contrast to a number of others which required cash. We can wholeheartedly recommend Ahmad and Booking Jordan Tours and would definitely book them again.

Absolutely amazing, I was unwell the day we were supposed to go so they rescheduled for us for the next day for no charge. Driver was so friendly and stopped along the way and way back so we could get out and take photos. He waited for an extra hour at Petra for us too. The tour guide was unbelievable was the most amazing experience

          Safety and comfort
We visited Jordan and wanted privately and independently to go around the main sightseeings of the country like Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Mr Saber drived us to all these places with safety and comfort. He went the extra mile by sharing with us interesting facts about all the areas he drove us through and was always more than happy to accommodate all our needs and follow our schedule. Mr Saber's professionalism and kindness elevated our experience and I cannot think of any better company for our next visit in Jordan. Thank you 🙏

In his care and in his company!
Much to my surprise, I was greeted by Mohammad Masoud at 5:45am outside of my hotel. Pickup was for 6:00am. I love that he was early. He was ready for me: a cooler with bottled water chilling, Kleenex between the two front seats and a mind to make good time!! SWEET! Mohammad was exceptionally professional and polite and surprised me further by saying that I was the only one in the group. WHAT??? I was going to have a private trip and driver at no price change???? Most tour companies would have canceled. That they did not says to me that this company wants to back up what they offer- no matter what. When you are on a tight schedule, that dependability counts for A LOT. Thanks, Mohammad! We made excellent time from Amman to Petra (2h45m), including Mohammad's suggestion of a stop for some tea with dried sage leaves. From the heat, I had only recently developed an unending cough-- and may I say that between the cough cough coughing and frequent nose blowing (I used almost his entire box of Kleenex that was there for his client's use), it would have annoyed.... anyone!!! (It sure annoyed me!) Mohammad, who showed ZERO agitation, did his best to offer a local remedy for chronic coughs and you know what? My cough did subside somewhat. Thanks, Mohammad! As he was dropping me off at the Petra Visitor Center (where you buy and your entrance ticket-- and hire a guide if you want), he gave me his contact/WhatsApp number and told me precisely at what point in the Petra return walking journey to text him-- and exactly where his car would be waiting--- because, his role was to be there waiting for me. He did not want me yo wait a minute. That dependability means a lot too, perhaps certainly (if not even more so) when you are traveling alone. Thanks, Mohammad!" And after my several hours of hiking at Petra (with a privately hired guide), I texted him as directed and there he was: ready and waiting, as promised! The car was all cool and he had removed another bottles of chilled water and had it in the drink cup holder for me. Mohammad was a superior driver. I do not write this casually. Years ago, in New York City, I was in a four car pile-up accident and was a passenger in a taxi. I got twenty stitches in my chin. It was a traumatizing event. Genuinely, rare is a cab ride that I am not on edge, particularly when traffic gets tight or cars are close. With Mohammad, who drives a fabulous stick shift, I didn't even realize how relaxed I was as a passenger until writing this review. And we had absolutely been in tight traffic! The man knows every turn and bend on the highways and in the roads. His driving prowess was a cause for comfort! Thanks, Mohammad! Perhaps one last thing to share is the care he extends to his clients even in the cleanliness and upkeep of his car. The car was dust-free, crumb-fee, even on the exterior the tires had been shined to a glow-- and that is not easy to do in a desert environment. In every possible way, my time with Mohammad was pleasant and enjoyable. He is a driver who was not ready to initiate conversation, which is a real plus at 6:00 am, if you are not a morning person! However, he was most certainly engaged and engaging, given the appropriate times in the trip. When we stopped on the return trip for some Turkish coffee, which he would bring to me in his car, he knocked on the window so I would not miss "the camels inside a modern camel". (See photo) To make that effort was incredibly kind of him --- seeing the camels was a slice of local life and, because they were not in my eye's line, he didn't want me to miss them.... and you know what, I never will! Thanks, Mohammad! Also, the license plates were a bit of a mystery to me and he pointed out many along the way including the KSA ones. (That's Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for you likewise uninitiated!) See photo I am thankful that I was assigned to Mohammad and I will never forget him. Meeting someone as nice as he was always makes me wish that I could also have met his wife and two sons. He gives a most positive impression of all that is favorable in the Jordanian people-- and I am thankful to have spent a day all alone in his care and company! Thank you, Mohammad, I told you I had a good review to write 😁😁😁😁😁 you were a terrific ambassador for your country and an excellent driver!

          Petra
My wife and I had a great time going to, at, and coming back from Petra. Our taxi driver and guide contributed to a very positive experience. I have problems with my walking balance and my walking endurance. Both the driver and guide were very helpful and accommodating. The experience of seeing and hearing about Petra is a once in a lifetime event. I wish to thank them and recommend them highly to anyone reading this review.

We had a great time! What a wonderful tour—- Oqba was guide, he was an incredible person- with lots of knowledge of Jordanian history and culture, I learned so much during the tour! Oqba was a very kind and thoughtful person, he took care of us and made sure we felt comfortable and safe at all times. I loved the kunafeh at Habibah sweets and enjoyed trying cane juice, shawarma, and hummus at the famous restaurant. Oqba also took very good photos! The next day, he took us to see Petra and the Dead Sea. Catching sunset on the shore of the Dead Sea was a magnificent experience. I definitely plan to come back to Jordan and do more tours with the company!

This tour definitely hit all the top must haves of Jordanian street and comfort food. The tour of the amazing Citadel had an additional guide who provided an understanding of its ancient history and gave us some time to explore on our own as well.
Mohammad was our main guide and he was both friendly and patient. We never felt rushed or on a strict schedule although I’m pretty sure we went beyond our designated time. He was also flexible enough to add a different stop when we said we’d already been to the Roman Theater. He was not as talkative as some guides we’ve had but he answered our questions and clearly knows his city.

Tayseer was a lovely chap with a nice relaxed manner and gets the full 5 stars. We spent 5 hours together visiting the main sites and a spot on lunch with seperate dessert stop. Excellent company. The reason the tour doesn't get the fifth star is that its quite expensive (you pay per person) and the guide we had around The Citadel was a bit half hearted

We had an amazing experience on the private street food and walking tour with our guide Mohammad Masoud. This tour was the perfect way to see the highlights of Amman and try some amazing local food all in one day. Perfect for your first day in Amman.

Mohammad arrived early and was waiting for us in our hotel lobby wt 8:30am. Our first stop was the Citadel where he set up us up with an excellent guide for a tour. After the Citadel, we visited the Roman Theatre and the King Abdullah Mosque. After a few hours of sightseeing, we then embarked on the food tour portion of the trip. We ate amazing food from falafel to shawarma to sugar cane juice and left the tour extremely full and satisfied. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the highlights of Amman with a great guide in 1 day!

I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see all the main sights of Amman and get a taste of the culture in one day! Saber was my guide for the day and took me on a terrific tour of the city- we adjusted the start time, added an extra stop (to the blue mosque) and fit in all of our stops in about 6 hours (delayed slightly due to a delayed citadel opening). Saber catered everything to my interests and I never felt rushed- he had a separate guide take me around the citadel and I did the Roman theater on my own. All of the foot was amazing, I was completely stuffed after our day together! Highly recommend.

Haitham was a great host. We had a tour of 5 hours and the time flew by. The Citadel and the Roman Theatre were fascinating and the food walk through the Souq Al Sukar was so much fun. At the end of the tour the meal in a local restaurant was a great example of local cuisine. Highly recommend the tour.

We used this as an orienting tour on our first day. Picked up by Saber at our hotel in a nice clean AC car. Communication first class from the off and given a good background to the day. Taken on the itinerary as described. Saber found us a good guide at the Citadel but ensure you have 15- 20 jod per guide. That goes for wherever you go. Food sampled delicious but be aware of extremely primitive toilet facilities at Hashems restaurant. Probably as bad as I've seen anywhere. Saber is the best part of the tour as he is very knowledgeable about the Middle East and its history. Great tour but only downside was visit to Black Iris gifts. Pressured by salesman, goods decent quality but obtainable elsewhere for a lot lot less. Overall, excellent day. Well done Saber.

A friend recommended me to use the service of Booking Jordan, and while browsing in their website, I came across their private street food tour in Amman. As I’m interested to explore the city and I would also love to try some Jordanian foods.
The actual city tour and food tour was enjoyable and informative. My driver, Saber, took me first in Hashem Restaurant to have some breakfast. We had some Falafel, hummus and coffee/tea. Then we went to Amman Citadel where I roamed around alone. If you want to hire an English speaking guide, it will be on your own account. After an hour, we drove to Roman Theater just a few meters away from the Citadel. Here I was welcomed to an enormous Amphitheater that was built during 2nd century. Same goes with Amman Citadel I was alone when I went inside the Roman Theatre. It has a small museum where you can visit as well. From the Roman Theatre, Saber, took me on a walk around Downtown Amman also known as Al-Balad, here you’ll find a lot of local shops offering clothes, souvenirs, golds, foods, fruits, spices and etc. Then we stopped to have a snack, (shawarma and cane juice. We also stopped at a pastry store, were I tried some sweet kunafeh which I really liked. Our last stop is at Rainbow street, a famous street in Amman that is full of people, tourists and local alike. I tried to eat some local foods too here. Overall, I really went home full that day and I really enjoyed this guided tour. It’s like having a local friend and your own photographer the entire day. Thank you to Booking Jordan tours, wishing I could re-visit Jordan soon!

We had a fantastic day with Saber! We saw so much of Amma and ate such delicious food - we got a real flavour of the city both in what we saw and what we ate. Saber was a wonderfully courteous and charming host and we felt in such good hands all day. Definitely book this tour - it’s fabulous!
