- GTSYGTSY0 contributionsVery niceJust had this tour of Jordan. Entire tour was seamless and worry free with all accommodations, transport, meals (except lunch), guides to Petra and Jerash arranged. Just have to arrive at Jordan with your bags. Would recommend this tour to all first time visitors to Jordan. Driver Mr Mahmood was also polite and on time every day. If there is anything to improve on is that the two night stay in Petra is too much for me. If can replace one night stay in Petra with Wadi Rum will be perfect tour.Written 2 August 2024

- bobmC9687UY0 contributionsPetra is beyond amazing.Firstly, our driver and guide were simply incredible. Firas (our driver) was kind, knowledgeable, funny and engaging the entire way there and back. Upon arrival to Petra, he managed the process of acquiring our tickets and introducing us to our guide, Mariam. Marium was probably the best guide our family has ever had in our travels. The vast majority of guides in this part of the world are men, so my girls loved that we were able to get such an incredible woman. Mariam was a teacher in her prior career and it showed in her current one. She was great with my two girls and family overall and had the perfect amount of information to share along our journey through Petra. The sites and history of this magical place were beyond beautiful and mesmerizing. Additionally, but not to be overlooked, Mariam was a great photographer. She was very creative for all videos and photos. The volume of tourists on our trip was well below the norm given the current conflicts in adjacent countries, but we felt more than safe the entire time. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and our guides.Written 17 June 2024
- Mari E0 contributionsGORGEOUS AND FUN!This is the most beautiful trail I’ve ever seen. It’s not easy, but the guides/staff were helpful and it’s worth it! Be prepared to get wet and possibly a couple of bumps or scrapes. (I bruise easily, so I got quite a few keepsakes!) We didn’t ask for a guide initially, but Ali found us along the way and helped us get to the end. This turned out to be really useful since it’s been a while since my husband or I did any river hikes and there are areas with strong currents. Ali also gave us some really good videos and pictures we weren’t expecting! We tried to offer him a tip, but he refused it. The waterfall at the end of the hike is so beautiful and it was nice having time to relax and play in the water before turning back. I made the mistake of wearing my wedding ring. It was my “travel ring,” but I still meant to leave it on dry land and forgot. At one of the slides, the ring came off! I was sure it was gone forever, but another guide, Sameer, was nearby. He put on goggles and somehow found it! By that point, I had been so overwhelmed with the beauty and experience overall, I just burst into tears! We were staying at the Mujib Chalets across the street, so we didn't need to use the changing rooms. We did bring towels with us and the staff offered to hold them behind the desk during our hike. They also gave us string to tie our glasses on since we both had to wear them. If you can get away with contacts, do that, but the string method worked well enough. The life jackets have been through some wear-and-tear, but they're sufficient to the cause. We took our time, playing in the water and taking lots of pictures and it took us about 2 1/2 hours to complete the whole thing.Written 3 June 2024

- roman44210 contributionsNot worth visiting, nothing to see.. cant tour on your own. ExpensiveThis is really not worth visiting.. first for the price 20 Euro, entrance fee and the remote location. You are not allowed to roam around at you're leisure. You get in a bus with a chaperone at the visitor center. that drive you about 2 km to the Greek orthodox church souvenir shop to buy stuff then walk a about 600 meters to a site of Jesus baptismal a wooden structure and dry river.. then walk another 700 meter to the river jordan.. border with israel.. 5 min.. turn around walk back to another souvenir shop, where you wait for the bus back to the visitor center, you're not allowed to walk around or be out of the chaperone site.. he doesn't really explain anything.. just sit there.. you will pass 2 checkpoint with soldiers.. so not worth it don't waste you're time or money.. oh and the bus leaves on the hourWritten 8 May 2024
- carmelorN3992JW0 contributionsBeautiful place to goWe were driven around by Mahmoud to all the locations. He was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable, easy going, and friendly. We had a different tour guide at the sites. All were so knowledgeable and professional. It wasn’t crowded. I recommend people go to Jordan the people are wonderful; the food is delicious, and the sites are breathtaking.Written 1 May 2024

- themasterpotato0 contributionsGeorgetown University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan!Last month, I had the opportunity to travel to Jordan with my peers from Georgetown University. During our visit, we explored iconic places including but not limited to Petra, the Amman Citadel, the Baptismal Site in the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea. We also immersed ourselves in interreligious dialogue with the local community by engaging with universities, schools, and refugee camps. While the trip was mostly based on Christian-Muslim interfaith dialogue, experiences such as this one allowed us to explore local customs and traditions beyond the classroom setting. However, if there’s anything I would like to highlight is that our time in Jordan was made even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful guidance provided by Zaid Tours and Travel. Our tour guide, Bassam, was AMAZING! His kindness and great knowledge could be seen throughout the different moments with him. Thanks to Zaid Tours and to the wonderful people of Jordan for such a beautiful and blessed journey.Written 28 March 2024

The site is quite amazing, even when viewed from a distance. Unfortunately, the day I toured the area, there was no way to anticipate a sudden sandstorm en route, nor a rain storm in Pella. The weather added a bit of excitement to the tour. The site would definitely be a point of interest to explore - in good weather.

Dear Edie,
Thank you for taking the time to review your experience in our wonderful Jordan. We are sad that rain prevented us from getting a 5-star review even though the product was caried out impeccably. As you know weather conditions are something we cannot control. November by nature for Jordan has rainy days. WE look forward to hosting you in our sunny days.
