Amazing day made even better by Guide Meni Tazabani who planned it to avoid the large coach tours. Haifa Bahai Garden then Rosh Hanrika Grottoes on the Lebanon border followed by Acre's Knight Hall and authentic.lunch with a walk through the Souk ended with a visit to Caesarea. Meni's expert commentary and true passion for his work made it very enjoyable.

Horrible experience: the guide was supposed to speak english but neither american natives could understand a word...
We hired the tour on the hotel, a fancy one, and we supposed it would be nice. We paid more for a small group.
The guide Jerry did’t speak quite well English so this made the explanations too short and superficial. It was better to read the location inscripts but the guide didn’t “allow” enough time for that and it was hurrying up all the group. In some places we stayed 20 minutes. We thought it was due the duration of the tour but besides that he stopped in local expensive touristic stores where we stayed more time.
Although all the group were in the mood of changing the restaurant, he kept strictly in the program and did not flexibilize a comma.
In the end, everyone was so tired of the stressfull tour that we ended up coming back early to Telaviv in order to enjoy more the day.
I do not recommend this agency to anyone.

Rushed, lots of bus time, poor tour guide
Feb. 2019 • Solo
I went on this tour last minute as it was recommended by the hotel. The tour is absolutely tailored to much older tourists who don't really want to walk. While I was semi-okay with that part of the tour, I was not okay with the fact that my tour guide knew nothing. He literally would walk to each sign within the attraction, say one sentence about what we were looking at and then if anyone asked a question he told us to read the sign. Also, the majority of the day was spent on the bus. It's too many stops in one day so you're constantly rushing to see everything. Lastly, the ride home is pretty disorganized. While in the morning they pick you up at your hotel and you meet a pick up point, the way home was a 2+ hour drive home dropping various people off all over the place. I would not recommend this tour based on my experience.

Worst tour ever: October 2018
Oct. 2018 • Couples
We booked a tour of northern Israel/Biblical highlights/ Galilee/Nazareth/Jordan with rent a guide. It was our second tour with them and definitely our last. We booked the "small group". It was maxed out at 18 passengers in a mini bus that looked like it had been through the war. The interior was dingy. The overhead Airconditioning vents and plates that held them in were falling down on passengers heads. Upon entering the bus anyone could see these ceiling pieces hanging by threads yet neither the driver nor the tour guide attempted to fix it until passengers insisted. Then the driver taped the dangling parts with medical adhesive tape used to keep gauze on a wound. Two bumps in the road later the plate then fell again, dangling by a corner. THe driver then attempted to "fix" it by using two bandaids. At the first stop the passengers and guide disembarked and the bus driver parked elsewhere. Half an hour later the guide realizes he never asked the driver for his cell phone number and now we don't know where to find him. We waited around for half an hour until that got resolved. By the time we reached Nazareth the guide confesses that he forgot to lock in a lunch reservation for the group and now every single restaurant in the area is booked. It took quite awhile to resolve that but they announce we will have lunch at Ali's Restaurant. Butthe only problem is...they don't know how to get to the restaurant. After driving around aimlessly...the restaurant (open air, dirt field) is spotted. The driver then can't figure out what road to take so he opts, instead, to off road this dilapidated mini bus and driver through mud fields to try to get to the restaurant. Both he and the guide seemed oblivious to the possibility that he could blow a tire, or worse, driivng across this unknown, unkept stretch of land. Well, the off-roading venture didn't lead to an access road to restaurant so the driver simply double backed across the field and went back to where we started. It was the passengers who directed him to the road that led to the restaurant. Yes, a man from South Korea, never before in Israel, figured it out long before the driver and guide did. The restaurant was nothing more than tables set on a dirt parking lot with a plastic tent above. Lunch was 80 sheckles for either of two choices. Given the amount of dirt flying in the air due to vehciles driving around...I opted for only a bottle of water to play it safe. The driver had to be coerced into putting hte AC on in the van before loading passengers...and then, upon the complaint of one passenger, he shut all the air off in a van that was likely over 80 degrees. The entire tour was beseiged with delays and then, when we finally hit the road for Tel Aviv, the driver opted to crawl along at mabye 40 mph. IT was a 12 hour day for a tour that should have been 6 hours...and skip lunch. The entire van was complaining how disorganized, chaotic and annoying the entire tour was. For a country which relies so heavily on tourism...they should focus more on organization and efficiency in operations. Very poorly run. Poorly organized. Poorly orchestrated. Will never use them again.

Not up to their promise
I chose English on booking but was put up with a group of Spanish speaking tourists. The guide is nice but he can only give us 20% of his attention. Sometimes we are left to read the signs in English ourselves. I think the company is really not responsible to their customers. I blame on the guide though.

Expensive trips with a down side (Jerusalem and Bethlehem; Western Gallilee "Pearls"
Oct. 2017 • Couples
We took two day tours with company. Mini van with smaller group at business rate. First was to Old City Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We were first to get picked up and this does add time to ride while others are picked up, and later dropped off. Tel Aviv is a busy city with lots of traffic at rush hours. We went to Bethlehem in afternoon, after Jerusalem. Quickly went through the key Christian sites and then were herded into a local gift shop where tour guide was connected with owners. Stuck there for at least 45 minutes. No other choices were offered for shopping, by the way. The time spent captive could have been better spent as part of the tour, or even "free choice" in shopping area. Also, shop people were on top of us in effort to sell goods at all times.
Second tour was to 4 places; called "Pearls of Western Gallilee". This was especially upsetting...time at Caesarian was fine, but in Akko (Acre) we were once again held hostage in the store of this guide's friend's shop for an hour. Then herded to his acquaintance's place to have lunch, though members of group had other preferences. Our fourth and last stop, Haifa, was a rush job, and all we saw was the view from atop a hillside. We could well have spent that captive hour in the gift shop on the streets of Haifa (or just about anywhere else) for better value. Most of us will not get the chance to go back to this country and "fill in the blanks." We complained at the tourist bureau of Israel which recommended Rent a Guide. They were quite upset and called company while we were there. They said the company would get in touch with us after consulting with the two guides in question. Never heard a thing.
