- 811martenp0 contributionsMasada Dead sea relaxI really enjoyed the trip! The guide Eyal was very provident and professional! I Learned a lot about the places we passed by. We went through the sites without any hurry. The things were explained in an very eupeptic manner. Although we passed through the Westbank in summer 2024, there was no impression of any danger on the way. Local people we found where very kind at all places. The stay at the beach was about 1.5h, enough to enjoy this extraordinary place. Thanks for a very nice trip!Written 26 June 2024
- 811martenp0 contributionsJerusalem in a rushIt was a really nice trip! The guide Abu Shai was very professional, a history professor giving courses in US universities, as he stated. And indeed a lot of historical background was given beyond the facts about the sites we visited. Furthermore information was always intended to be in a consistent (not always religious) context. I really enjoyed the discussions. Unfortunately, we went through Jerusalem with a great portion of hurry, not really giving us time to rest and contemplate as I would have preferred for such a magic place on earth. People were also told to don't stop at any stall or photographic site except the ones we were told by the guide. The excuse was that we had to pass by so many places in the given time frame. Finally we finished the tour in around 6 hours. Anyway I learned a lot and enjoyed what I found. ThanksWritten 26 June 2024
- esimisrael0 contributionsUnforgettable Masada and Dead Sea Adventure! This "Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv" was incredible! The convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, combined with comfortable air-conditioned travel, made the journey stress-free. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal experience, with optional therapeutic treatments available. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Israel!Written 26 June 2024

Avi made the trip live up to all my expectations and more. We covered the Sea Level pit stop on the way down to the rift valley from Jerusalem. The cable car ascent of Masada and Avi gave us just the right depth of insight without any stress or rush. Then our time at Kalil Beach for our float in the Dead Sea and our self-pasting with Dead Sea mud was the best! A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. It was a humbling honour to be blazing the trail for the return of tourism to Israel after the devastation wrought on 7 October 2023.Written 31 May 2024

- katlinw20240 contributionsGreat tour and amazing tour guideThis trip was the highlight of my time in Israel. Itamer was an amazing tour guide- his knowledge of history, Israel, and the Bible all fused to make this trip really memorable. All the sites we visited were amazing, there was ample time at each one but it didn’t feel like we were there for too long, and Itamer did a great job conducting the tour in multiple languages for different people. He truly cared about each person having a great experience. Visiting Jesus place where he grew up and did most of his ministry was truly incredible and the price for the tour was great. If you go, download what’s app because they will communicate with you that way for the pick up and drop off.Written 21 May 2024

- blancahavila0 contributionsHorrible experience with ViatorHorrible tour to Valle de Guadalupe We bought a tour to Valle de Guadalupe, from a supposed “Tour company.” They sent us 4 people plus the driver in a 4 persons sedan car, my daughter had to go in the middle for 6 hours. The driver was talking on the phone back and forth, when I told him that I thought it was dangerous for us to do it, he said that he had a lot of experience driving 8 wheelers, so he didn't stop. I don't think it's allowed to take tourists this way. So unprofessional, didn't know anything about the area, he just transported us to the destination in the most uncomfortable and dangerous way. At the last point, the vineyard where they gave us a cheese board, he sat at our table and loudly talked on her cell phone, taking away the only pleasant experience of the entire day. What he did share with us, was all the dangerous places in the area. Although the driver tried, this company is not a professional tour company. We brought a bigger and safer truck, if we had known how bad it would be, we would have left on our own.Written 1 January 2024
- _saroshv0 contributionsBad experience! This tour was badly organized .First we waited outside the hotel for an hour before we were picked up .No one knew where to go .We thought we were finally starting the trip .But we were taken to this hilly top where we waited another hour in a dingy cafe . The tour was rushed as it was getting late .For lunch everyone is taken to this awful resturant with chaos ,substandard food and fighting crowds . Before going into the resturant you have to go thru a shop and they push coupons to you to buy super expensive products . Guide did not have much knowledge or rather one sided knowledge .We were rushed thru Masada which was the main attraction .I asked him a couple of questions breaking his monologue. He did not like it and was very rude . Do not take this tour .If you do bring your own food . It was a waste of money .Written 23 December 2023

I would have felt like there was a part missing from my trip if I didn't go up north and see Nazareth, Jordan, and the Sea of Galilee. But the tour felt very religiously biased. I would have preferred to get the historical facts and where things are disputed I want to hear all the sides and make up my own mind. I felt like the guide was giving her own opinions as if they were fact and so I did not find this tour as informative as I would have liked. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch on the Sea of Galilee, the guide was obviously friends with the owner, which I wouldn't mind, except that there were no other food options around and the restaurant was terrible and very expensive! The pickup was also very disorganised and I had to try and make myself understood to a hotel receptionist to try and get them to phone the company to find out where they were after they were half an hour late.
The bus was air-conditioned and comfortable.

Dear Robyn
A pity that you chose SO long to wait to post this, your disatisfaction with this tour. It is most unusual to read how you review our guide. They are all so highly reviewed on this platform. Regarding the restaurant on the banks of the sea of Galilea. No she doesn't know the owner! This is the restaurant we eat at, that caters for groups. Thee are NO decent places in this region as you saw, completely rural and with kibbutz settlements all around. The menu is varied with salads and fish.. one can wonder off to eat elsewhere on a group tour. Not sure what you were expecting.
Wierd regarding pickup as unless you were at a hotel where we dont collect, this may have been the problem. We can be delayed. Pickup is not an exact science ! Especially in Jerusalem However hard we try daily to collect all our travellers from their exact locations.
We are sure when tourism will resume some time, as we are present fully locked down, we will continue to provide services of the highest standard, as is shown on the thousands of reviews on this platform.

I had one of the most fascinating days of my life. Dorit gave so much of herself in explaining about biblical history, Israeli history, Jewish Arab relations and Middle Eastern Culture. She was so charming and was like a mother hen taking care of her chicks.. I took in so much that day that "my cup runneth over". Thank you Dorit for that most wonderful experience.

I can not speak more highly about our experiences with Dani (our tour guide) and Jakob (our driver) during our day trip from Jerusalem to the Galilee.
Dani showed a passion for the history of the land from the Bible by providing his clients with in-depth overviews for each of the tour's sites. He provided insight from a combination of Christian, Jewish and modern day perspectives, which I personally appreciated learning about.
The tour itself included some sites that are not typically thought of as part of a Galilee tour, such as a visit Emmaus Nicopolis. The tour also provided insight into aspects of modern day Israel that are not typically discussed, such as some villages leading out from Jerusalem where Messianic Jews currently dwell (a Jewish religious tradition I had never heard of until this tour).
It was obvious that Dani truly enjoyed catering to his clients' interests, by first learning about what interested them, and then by discussing it with them to the best of his knowledge. This was the case for me, when it came time to purchasing a souvenir antique coin, where he taught me about the 'widow's mite,' and the references to it in the bible.
I also found this tour did a wonderful job of tying stories from the bible to the actual land we were visiting. Some example include when we visited Megido, which we learned is the origin of the term "Armageddon," or when we passed by the village of Mag-del, which is where Mary of Magdalen came from. I found Dani revealed these pieces of history throughout the tour, and engaged his clients professionally from start to finish through them.
Equally, Jakob the driver was incredibly hospitable and did a professional job of getting us to our destinations safely, as well as getting us back to Jerusalem on time.
I highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in gaining an in-depth understanding of the many histories that make up this holy land.

Dan Porges is hands-down one of the greatest tour guides I’ve ever seen. He’s well spoken, his English is very standard, and he gave in-depth and clear introductions to the places we have been to, starting from the moment he is on the car. We have been to the Church of St. Joseph and Church of Annunciation in Nazareth, Church of Multiplication, St. Peter’s Restaurant, Capernaum synonogue and the River Jordan. But it feels like we have been to more places as Dan keeps explaining the places on the way. We can see the beautiful Sea of Galilee by its side. But it will be better if you have done research on the bible before the tour because it is literally a tour of the bible. It is a plus if you are familiar with the geographics and history of Israel. But yeah, it is definitely the best tour you could ever find.

The tour was basically 3 churches and the Jordan baptism site. It was not worth the money paid and our guide Sivan was not that informative. Only gave out info when she was asked and prompted for more details. We refused the option to pay more for lunch and packed our own. We were given the option to sit at the table and watch everyone else eat lunch or stand outside in the drizzle till the driver finally came and opened the van for us to grab our packed lunch. The driver Mohammed was falling asleep at the wheel and kept veering off to the other side of the road while driving on the way back. We were told the tour would finish around 8pm, but we were back at our hotel at 5pm. Would have been better to go ourselves or pay a private driver.

Dear Azak,
We are sorry that this was the nature of your impression with our tour and management by the guide Sivan.
Sivan is generally praised on this platform for her informative commentary and pleasant persona.
As far as the itinerary goes, did you not read the description. You traveled to Nazareth, this was not just 4 churches in Tel Aviv, something in your tone and insinuation. Your expectation was not in sync with the very specific itinerary, hence your disappointment.
Travelers cross the globe to visit Nazareth, the churches, Capernaum and Baptismal sites. Lunch is not mandatory and taking your own is just fine. You were clearly invited to sit down with the group. Pity you didn't think to take your lunch with you when you got off the bus, understanding this was the lunch stop.
Sivan has reported that she urged you to come inside and sit with the group numerous times you could do so with your own packed meal. So this is somewhat unfair to hint we left you no option. It was a rainy day. That region is not commercial, there are not many options where to stop and most of the year the banks of the Sea of Galilee is a spectacular location. Pity you choose to make NO mention of this and rather make out how not OK the tour management was. We will follow up regarding the driver and what you wrote. That is definitely not OK!
Sincerely,
Bein Harim Tourism Services team

This was by far one of the most on-time tours I’ve done. From the direct pickup at our hotel (Hilton TelAviv) to our meet up location for the bus. We were lucky to get bus #14 with our tour guide (Ami). He was the best! Honestly, super dedicated to ensuring all names were on the list and counting us at each location. His passion for service shined while he professionally narrated each location during and after the visits. The day was full of events and completely coordinated. I’m taking this survey to inform others of such a wonderful experience and want to recommend them for stars across the board.

Pros: we got to see quite a lot of places with Biblical significance around the Sea of Galilee, which is really beautiful. We spent the right amount of time at each place. Although we had lunch at a restaurant that exists for tourist groups, the food was good, and I was glad to be able to eat fish from the lake. Cons: the bus was 25 minutes late picking us up (6:05 instead of 5:40), and that early start time seemed entirely unnecessary - we ended up waiting 30 minutes at a gas station on the way to Nazareth in order for our guide to join us.

Any updates if this tour allows kids below 4 years old? Thanks!
Written 1 October 2023
The information on the site says 4 and up. You would probably get a better answer from the tour group. Some areas would be no problem, a lot of walking and some stairs plus going inside churches. No one had children on the trip I was on. Hope it helps.

Thank You in advance

Of course, I don't see why not so long as he has suitable clothes, i.e. Sandals, plenty of water, suncream, as also so long as he doesn't have any condition that would put a burden on the other people and the guide who are doing the tour.
