Our family just had an amazing time in Turkiye last week! We visited Istanbul, Cappadocia and Izmir, and had 3 different tour guides who brought us around the various sites. They are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their work, and helped us better understand the history and culture behind many of the places we visited. We were looking at tours of Turkey. I came across Curio Travel. Their tour went to the cities and sites my son wanted to see. I saw that they did private tours as well. I emailed and began working with Saddetin to create an itinerary we liked. They are so flexible I was able to add extra nights in the middle and the end of the trip. The hotels he chose for us were very nice. A couple with ocean views and a cave hotel. The tour guide we had was very knowledgable and flexible. The 12 night tour we created was minimally more expensive than their small group tour. While we were there Fevzi and Saddetin were always available to answer my questions and remedy any issue that came up. I am one that typically books everything myself. I didn’t know much about Turkey so I knew I needed a tour company’s help. I am so happy I found Curio Travel and would highly recommend them for lengthy tours or even one day tours if you arrive by ship. I am grateful for the experiences and memories they helped us create. It was an amazing trip. Curio travels exceeded all my expectations. Private Yacht, limo Pickup from airport was awesome. Everyone loved it. Guides Mr Erkan at istanbul and Mr Nihat were awesome. Istanbul Guide MrErkan was the best guide i have ever interacted so far. He explained so well, very flexible and took many pics. He was very caring and always made sure we are in good hands. Overall a great experience for 12 friends

This tour far exceeded our expectations. Erkan was an amazing guide, and the tour company was wonderful as well. We had to make some time changes due to our ships schedule changing, and Fevzi accommodated us perfectly every step of the way!! The tour itself was exactly what we wanted. We only had hours in Istanbul rather than days and we wanted to see as much as possible. Erkan met us at the cruise port, and we began our tour. He was friendly, spoke clearly (which sounds silly but we have had some guides who talk so fast or so quiet that you can’t understand), made sure that we had time for everything we had asked to see, and even squeezed in some extra things that he thought he would like. We took the local transportation, which was crowded and could have been confusing, but Erkan made sure we were all on and off where we needed to be. 10/10 recommend!

It was my first time travelling to Turkiye and it has been a great experience! Gurkan, our tour guide was friendly and professional, even though the grp tour ends up mostly only with me and my friend (just the 2 of us), he still deliver the tour with enthusiasm. Thanks for keeping me and my friend entertained at times during the trip! We really appreciate it. The driver for the tour is friendly and kind too. Eren, another guide for the tour in Istanbul was amazing too! Learnt so much during the walk ard the city. I would recommend this tour!

We had a great day in Istanbul. The guide was prompt and helped us navigate a really busy city. There were a lot of lines and if I was doing it again, I would rather have gone to less travelled places rather than waiting ages to go into the "must see" locations. The Blue mosque and Palace were really lovely. We stopped waiting for the Hagia Sophia as it was going to take over an hour in line with kids. Sometimes I felt like she was ticking off the required places rather than discussing with us what would be best for the situation.

We got a Good overview of Istanbul and appreciated how knowledgeable Leyla was! The city and sights are truly fantastic!

Amazing trip for couples, tour was well planned with helpful and friendly tour guides and drivers . Curios travel boss Fevzi was also helpful and readily contactable during the trip Drivers : Hasan , Tatum Kudos to the drivers during the trip , despite the long drives , I did not have any motion sickness even though I am usually prone to one and was very comfortable during the trip Tour guides : Istanbul - Imran Rest of the trip - Gurkan Both tour guides were very professional and gave interesting insights behind the rich culture and history in Turkey . They were always ready to render us help and make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of during the trip. We had unique experiences such as getting to try various local cuisines, trying to make pottery plates in Cappadocia to even trying shisa in Istanbul. Special thanks to tour operator boss Fevzi who was quick to render us help when my husband fell ill during the trip and had to visit the hospital , Fevzi ensured we had a translator with us while in the hospital . Our tour guide Gurkan and driver Tatum/Hasan took great care of us as well and paced our trip based on my husband’s recovery progress. Planning and execution of the trip was also seamless . We had greeters at Istanbul as well as local airports when we were doing transfers locally . Overall an amazing and unforgettable trip . Would 10/10 recommend to take this tour

From hotel pickup, to the transfer to IST airport and flight bookings, collection at Izmir airport, tour of Ephesus, mother Mary‘s house, St John‘s Basilica and of course the included lunch couldn’t have been planned, presented and executed better. Curio Travel kept me posted of bookings and online check-in and all necessary trip info. Perfect!!! Good job!!! Our local guide for the day was Fatma Devrim Çobanoglu. She spoke english very well and she provided so much information. The history of the area‘s we visited is so old and fascinating. Devrim really contributed to us having an incredible experience. It was also very hot during the day and Devrim continuously checked that we were okay and comfortable. The history lessons were superb and very valued and appreciated. Will definitely recommend Curio Travel - via Viator and Bookings.com. I booked through Bookings.com and these other companies ensured we had the best sightseeing experience!!! My family and I undertook a small group Turkiye tour package from tour agency Curio Travel, travelling across Istanbul, Izmir, Kusadasi, Selcuk, Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia and Kayseri. The tour arrangements were seamless, prompt, detailed and according to the agreed itinerary. The service delivery were stellar throughout, with accomodating, adaptable and courteous guides and drivers. Shoutout to guides Leyla, Emre and Tayfun for their exceptional service and support. We also appreciated the thoughtful upgrades and kind assistance given to us during the tour in view of our circumstances, such as having injury, elderly and infant. We highly recommend Curio Travel for its overall superb operational planning, service delivery and communication.

We were three friends ,ladies traveling first time to Turkey . We travelled from different countries and arrived and departed at different times and airports . They customised all our requests and gave us a full 10 day drip at leisure. The cars, drivers and guides they gave were very good, friendly and helpful. The accommodations they gave too were above my expectations. On the last day May 1st there were unexpected shut down at isthambul and my friend had her car, booked by the company cancelled. She travelled with another customer in a car arranged by the hotel. However Mr Favzi came to airport and paid the driver himself. We appreciate the nice tour arranged by them and for having made our trip a wonderful journey

I'm a historian researching Revelation, so I have been wanting to do a trip to all of these locations for years. We thought about renting a car and visiting all of these places ourselves, but I'm so glad we went the tour company route. This itinerary is excellent for the price, and Emre is a wonderful guide. The van was very comfortable, the driver was safe and skillful, and the hotels were relaxing. There are other places in Turkey that I want to visit in the future and will definitely plan to get in touch with Curio Travel when I do. Thanks!

I contacted Fevzi in WhatsApp for a private tour in Istanbul when I had a 1.5 day layover. Fevzi was quick to respond and arranged me a nice private tour in Istanbul. My tour guide Ceren was awesome and she was very knowledgeable. She explained the history of each sites so well and she was so thorough. I highly recommend this company and my tour guide Ceren for any tours in Istanbul.
