Great lil morning excursion, our guide Mr. Caviar was very informative and kept us feeling safe & comfortable throughout. He apologized for his English but it was honestly perfect! we clearly understood everything and it was very interesting to learn from a local and experience things we wouldn't have ventured to do without. Even trying traditional Sri Lankan food. Would highly recommend as I feel like for us personally we would've missed a lot of Negombo if it wasn't for this. Very informative and fun with fruit, water & lunch provided. 8,500LKR for the boat trip but it's so worth it as we saw monkeys, monitor lizards and loads of birds. Lasted about an hour. Whole trip was maybe 3/4hrs.

The Food was delicious. We eat food we would never fiend and eat if we were not with Ricky. Ricky is a good driver an very very friendly. I can absolulty recommend this tour.

This is actually my second time booking a tour with Caviar and the guys. The first time I had a tour with them was when I went for a backpacking solo trip to Sri Lanka, this time I was with my family. I specifically choose them again because I have proven their service to be really good. Also, the tour packages are really affordable and worth the price. We got so many with the tour we availed. We went to many beautiful places around Colombo like Temples, Lighthouse, Towers, Parks and more.

We had a wonderful food tour with Capital Tours. It was raining heavily with thunder and lightning but our guide Ricky either ran out and brought the food to us or got close enough to the restaurant so we wouldn't get wet. It was great learning about Sri Lankan food and eating with the locals. An experience not to be missed.

I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the food stops. Some of the places we visited looked unclean, which made me lose my appetite. The tuk-tuk ride itself was not enjoyable either, as it was hot and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a letdown.

For the price, the Capital Tour by Tuk Tuk did not deliver. The food choices were limited, and some of the places didn’t seem hygienic. The guide was not very knowledgeable about the food or the culture, which made the experience feel lackluster.

This tour was not worth the money. The guide didn’t seem knowledgeable, and the tuk-tuk wasn’t well-maintained. We didn’t get to visit all the promised sites, and the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional.

Our visit to Sri Lanka was so much fun, our guide and driver made us feel like family and gave us a ton of memories that we will always cherish. Good thing we booked this Colombo city tour by Tuk Tuk, aside from being affordable, they went above and beyond to show us lovely places around Colombo. The Memorial Hall, Fort, and more were picturesque. While stopping by Manning market was fun. We get to buy stuff conveniently thanks to our guides. The entire tour was well planned, punctual, and we felt secure with everyone. We will book them again for our anniversary.

We had such a good time on our food tour and it was a varied selection: a mixture of street food, and full sit-down dishes inside of restaurants we wouldn’t have known about otherwise! Warning - brace yourself if you’re not good with spicy food :) Ramesh, our guide, was possibly the best tuk tuk driver we’ve met, and took us safely to every spot. He also gave us a detailed explanation of each dish we tried, and answered our questions about Colombo along the way. Totally worth doing!

My tour guide promptly picked me up in his green Tuk Tuk in front of my hotel. Our first stop was at the Bombay Sweet Store in the Pettah Market where I was treat to a Potato Cheese Ball. It melted in my mouth. It's a variation of the aloo (potato) bonda that is common in India. The next stop was at a road side stand where I (and my mouth was set on fire) eating the Isso Vade (or prawn fritters). The sauce made it a bit spicy ... definitely not for the faint of heart. We next stopped at the Zylen tea store where I was given a detailed overview of the various teas in Sri Lanka. Also I was able to taste a couple of them. We were then on to the Taste of Asia restaurant to eat some appam, a pancake made with fermented rice and coconut milk. I was a little hesitant to use my fingers (instead of cutlery) to eat, but then just dug in, letting the gray flow through my fingers into my mouth. Messy but delicious. Next it was on to the Yarl Restaurant on Galle Road where I had the Sri Lankan Kottu, which is chopped flatbread mixed and mashed together with chicken and vegetables and lots of aromatic spices. By now, I had ingested so much food that I could barely eat more than a couple of handfuls. We ended the tour with curds and kiri peni. The selection of food was great, and I enjoyed the tour. However, I'm giving it 3 stars (not 5) because I felt it was a bit rushed. I wish we had a little more time at each of the stops so that I could really savor the food. Also, I would have liked to hear a bit of history and description of the food and dishes that we were eating. All in all, a good tour for foodies albeit a bit overwhelming.

I never expected I would enjoy most in just a short period. I booked a Kandy tour from Colombo with Kavitha. The guides were professional and attentive to our needs. They made sure we will enjoy the whole trip. They’re friendly and hospitable. They’re knowledgeable and the driver drives safely. So, we toured around the city and went to many places like tea factories, war cemeteries and more. I got to collect more pictures and connect with the local cultures and discover new food. Our guide was there to assist us and educate us about stories and history of the places we went to. I enjoyed Kandy so much thanks to Kavithan and company.

I was kind of hesitant about booking a tour package, but when I saw Kavithan’s Kandy day tour covering so many places to see around Kandy, I gave it a try, and I was happy I did. The tour included so many places to explore. So we went to Ambuluwawa tower, Art Lanka Batik, and more. There’s even food and drinks included, and the guides were really there assisting and leading us. It was safe. They are fun to be with. I learned much about history and cultures from them. I will book them again, looking forward to avail of their other tour packages next time.

We booked a Kandy day tour with Kavithan. It was an incredible experience. We toured around Kandy. We went to Art Batik, a temple, a tea factory and more, but the most enjoyable part for me was the Ambuluwawa tower. I love the scenery there. Although it’s kinda tiring climbing the tower, it was all worth it when you see the view on top. Good thing is that the tour package we book comes with food and water. It’s really appreciated, also the tour guide, they were very hands on and helped us along the way. The entire trip was safe and comfortable.

We were able to go to many places in Kandy thanks to the tour we booked with Kavithan. The Kandy day tour was worth it. It includes too many places for sightseeing and great food and drinks. We went to Art Lanka, Embilmeegama Tea Factory, and many more. Our guide was amazing. The entire tour was organized. It gives us peace of mind that Kavithan, the tour company we booked with, are really knowledgeable. Thanks to them for coming up with such awesome and affordable tour packages. We were able to enjoy Kandy. All in all, it was a serene and enjoyable experience.
