The guide provided valuable insights into the history and significance of the sites, making our experience much more enriching. It was incredibly affordable to rent a private van or car during my visit. I traveled with my best friend in nov 2023, and everything was remarkably peaceful. We cherished the tranquility and love embedded in the local culture. The people, with their warm smiles, provided excellent service, especially our driver for the day. The proficiency of the locals in speaking English made our experience even more enjoyable. They graciously recommended places for us to visit, offering insights even for first-time visitors to the capital of Laos. While it may not have the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Laos has its unique charm—peaceful, beautiful, and distinct in its own style. I have a deep appreciation for both cultures.

Our guide Leng (not sure of spelling) took us on a magical tour of the very special town of Luang Prabang in the evening. We hung out with some locals & watched them play a game very similar to bocci… then we were guided through the large night market where we made some well priced purchases. We later had dinner at a beautiful barbecue restaurant on the Mekong River. Leng spoke excellent English & we learned much about the history of Laos as well as the present. When we return here someday, we would love to have Leng as our guide again. He is the BEST!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Lovely and accommodating driver and guides. Great communication throughout. Saw all the best sites of the cities in a pleasant and safe way. As a young solo female traveller I was made to feel safe and comfortable the whole time. Laos has just reopened after the pandemic and is beautifully untouched. I recommend you visit 100%! Thank you!

This was an EXCELLENT way of seeing the town and orientating yourself. Definitely not strenuous.It also gave us time to view more closely the attractions rather from inside a minivan.

The trip was alright except that it ended about 2pm instead of late noon.. which is earlier than expected..for solo traveler also be prepared to top up additional of more than usd 80, for the travel agent to cover cost. If Trip advisor would also consider having WhatsApp or message system to allow the user to communicate with the service provider, it would have saved me 2 hours from the delay happened.I was not able to reach the tour guide at the beginning of the tour. The driver was great and nice river ride with fabulous sunset. The view from the hotel room was great too!

Our guide was definitely 5* but the company itself was a laugh. They didn't turn up on the date of the booking. And after trying to get in contact with them they finally said they could do the tour the day after. If it wasn't paid already or we could get a refund we would had booked with someone else...

I made a booking a couple days in advance and on the morning of the tour the driver did not show up. I called the booking company (Bravo Indochina Tours, based in Ho Chi Minh City) and was then told the driver would only be able to come 3.5 hours after my booking! I cancelled and requested a refund. I then researched the booking company's reviews online and saw that the company has a history of no shows. We eventually did a self-guided tour of the city at our own pace. Vientiane is a small and delightful place so a city tour is highly feasible on foot or with tuk tuks.

I booked a tour for the 13/05, Almsgiving and market tour at Luang Prabang. I have send 2 emails and received no awnser. I have send a facebook massage and once again no awnser. On the 13th I woke up at 4:30am wishing that some one had seen the emails and come to pick me at the hotel. No one came! I want them to refund the money and don't even know how to do it. F*!!!!

Booked this tour plus a full day sightseeing around Vientiane through Viator, certainly did not regret it, our guide spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable about his country, looked after our comfort and made sure the restaurants he chose for us for lunch were clean and the Lao food was excellent. He saw that we were moved to a better Hotel in Vang Vieng off his own bat by contacting head office when he decided that the original one would not be suitable for us, for that we thank him and Bravo tours. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Vietnam or Laos.

Long enough to see the highlights in Vientiane area. For the visit to the Buddha park good guide is required to get explanation of all the differant objects in this park

a pretty concrete arch with access to top, extra steps to tip top. views of city are not spectacular. could not see the Mekong River. tourist shops inside. fairly run down and needs fresh paint.

People of Laos are very Hospitable and Friendly. And it's really cheap price for anything. You should drop by if south east asia is your target for your upcoming Holiday. Give it a try people.
