5 days I will always remember
This was an amazing one off experience to be recommended for those who enjoy breath taking scenery and love horses. We had two amazing guides and the horses that we rode over the 5 days I had the greatest respect for as they negotiated with ease the sometimes challenging terrain

          Amazing tours, unforgettable experiences
Would definitely recommend Visit Alay for adventure tours in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. I booked the Dushanbe-Osh Pamir tour and the 8-day Best of Alay tour in Kyrgyzstan. The tour through the Pamir pathway was a breathtaking journey through the mountains region of Tajikistan which I would definitely repeat - all stops were astonishing and the places we stayed at were a great way to see the traditional way of living of the local people of the Pamirs. Our driver Kokon was a great guy, had a great amount of fun with him, thank you so much Kokon! The 8 day hiking tour around the Alay mountains was another highlight of my solo trip in Central Asia - staying in yurts and hiking in the Kyrgyz mountains were unforgettable experiences. Our guide Mamyr and Il Balbek riding our horse were outstanding. We had great fun with Mamyr and could communicate very well with him in English, as his level is incredibly good. Loved to see involved Mamyr is in the local community of Sary Mogul and how well he and his colleagues keep the hiking paths in the mountains well maintained. A lot of effort and dedication that shows their love towards the mountains they were raised in. Thank you so much for everything!

Amazing hiking trip in Pamir-Alay mountains ;)
We went on this trip with great expectations, but it turned out better than we hoped for. We did the 8-day hike in the Pamir-Alay mountains and it is exceptionally well organized, the first day you start with a friendly trek to acclimatize to the height. Then once arrived at Sary-Mogul we had a traditional dinner and went to play volleyball with the locals at the town's school which was really cool. The next day we started the trip with a series of incredible views and treks and a picnic at the top of the trek. That night we spent it on a yurt where we had a traditional dinner and managed to watch the stars as clearly as I have ever seen them. The rest of the days were followed by trekking, eating, and enjoying the views these mountains give. The terrain changes constantly, from forest, to arid to snowy and grasslands. It was an incredible experience to see all the terrains Kyrgyzstan has to offer. The guides that we had, Dany and Dastan, were really cool guys. They made sure that we had everything er needed, gave us great advice regarding the treks, and knew all the roads. They were really friendly, and we immediately connected with them, and I can say that by the end of the trip we became really good friends. They spoke fluent English and we could connect easily. Everyone was more or less the same age and we were joking and laughing constantly. They also took really cool pictures of us ;). In summary, if you are aiming for a hiking trip in the region, I'd definitely recommend these guys, they are professional, friendly and experienced at what they do. All the best, Darío.

          Great experience, well-organised
I did a 5 day trek with Aibek and Umar to Alay Mountains and Base Camp of Peak Lenin. Though I went there at the end of the season, Visit Alay was able to accommodate me and proposed an itinerary despite the cold and snow. The views were fantastic and the guys were absolutely amazing and hospitable. I would love to come back and do the Best of Alay at the right season next time.

          Fantastic experience!
We spent 8 days with our fantastic guide Musa and everyone who was involved in the logistic of the tour. Adventures, breathtaking landscapes and a lot of warm welcomes in yurts make that tour unforgettable!! I definetly recommend Visit Alay to visit such part of the world since they are reactive, respectfull and very kind. We hope to go back there once again...

An underrated region of kyrgyzstan, explore it now, the region is beatiful
It has been a wonderful trip in the Alay mountains organised by Visit Alay. The region is really beautiful. Do not forget the local people, who made this trip even more special. I do not write a lot of reviews, but this trip is so well organized, that I highly recommend it to everybody who is keen to experience a remote region of Kyrygystan. Just book the tour, you will not be disappointed!

          Unforgettable trekking experience
We recently completed this incredible trek in Kyrgyzstan with our guide Timur. The sceneries were breathtaking, the food was delicious and in great quantities. Timur took care of every detail. Highly recommend to trekking enthusiasts - a truly unforgettable experience.

          Underrated
Absolutely recommed doing this tour with Visit Alay, it was an incredible experience with beautiful and varying views throughout from green meadows to snow covered mountains. I've done a few multi day treks in South America and Nepal but this one was one of my favourites for how scenic it is every day of the trip and how kind the locals are. My tour was led by Mamyr, was a local guide from Sary Mogul, and he was an excellent and supportive guide who taught us a lot about the history and the way of life in the mountains along the way. It was quite an adventure staying at the yurt camps and homestays, the food was delicious and the local people were always very friendly and kind. I also really liked how the money generated from tourism seems to be reinvested into improving the infrastructure in the local communities.

A great opportunity to hike in the beautiful Alay mountains in comfort
A superb experience and we were well looked after all the time. The landscape was some of the best we have ever seen and changed with each valley. Yurt stays were all different and we had a good amount of time in each place. Have been recommending to all our friends.

          Memorable week
We had a memorable and wonderful week thanks to the staff of Visit Alay and our guide Baiysh. We experienced several authentic moments (even if it could be more). The timming was good every day. The accommodations and the yurts were very well to introduce of the daily lifestyle of shepherds and local people.

          5 day Alay Trek
Everything went very well. It was perfectly organized, from the itinerary to the food and accommodations. Although the language was a bit of a challenge, nonetheless, since everyone was so kind and helpful, it didn’t matter so much. Reasonably priced as well! Thanks to the whole team.

A beautiful outdoor excursion with great insight to local culture!
This is one of the top multiday treks in the world and Visit Alay made it so simple. Great communication to get the trip organized, the food was delicious and plentiful, the team while trekking was supportive and funny. Timur, our guide gave great insight to local culture and was overall great person and really brought our group together. Plus you stay in yurts and village homestays and get to interact with local people. (Thanks Timor for translating!!) A great adventure through nature and culture. Couldn’t recommend this trek enough!

A long bouncy ride through wild & beautiful mountains.
Sali Polotov in the Osh office was very helpful and friendly.
Both drivers were great - good English, polite, considerate and helpful.
Border crossings were easy and quick with the drivers assistance. Checkpoints for the GBAO permits were all handled by the driver.
All accommodations were OK and food offerings at all stays were good.
The trip is not a 5 star hotel but basic - adequate and OK - enjoy the wild beauty of the towering mountains.
Most of the trip is bouncing along an improved goat path.
People you meet all along the way were friendly and interested in the fool tourists.
All in all, I loved the 13 days.
Thanks to Sali, Kuba and Abdi! My pleasure meeting you!

Great communication and a superb driver, Ibrahim, who took us a Pamir Adventure. Some very long days as the roads are often really bad but the views of the mountains make you easily forget this

One of the world's best road journeys and Visit Alay made the whole trip easy. Would use again
