- Navigate2387290 contributionsWonderful day! Thank you!We thoroughly enjoyed our Silk Island / Countryside tour with Narith and Simon. It was great to get out of PP to get a glimpse of how locals live daily. We experienced ferry crossings, tofu skin manufacturing, grass mat weaving, silk production and weaving, fresh fruit tasting, rice, taro and lemongrass fields, mango trees, local foods at lunchtime and more. Thank you!Written 2 March 2025

- lisamorrow820 contributionsHighly Recommend!Thong is a wonderful guide and human. He collected me early morning from the hotel and we went to three different locations and got over 50 species. Snacks and brunch and great conversation as well as dozens of lifer species. Thong is extremely knowledgeable and easy to be around. I highly recommend!Written 7 February 2025
- sarahpD3968VM0 contributionsPhnom Penh Afternoon Bird TourWe had an amazing day!. Although we opted for the afternoon tour instead of the morning we still saw 35 species of bird including Coppersmith Barbet, Black Naped Monarch, White Throated Rock Thrush, Yellow Bittern and the Cambodian Tailorbird. We crossed the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers by ferry and proceeded to a forested area where we spent the first couple of hours. We then stopped off to the habitat of the Cambodian Tailorbird before finishing in a wetland area where we watched the sunset over the city! Our guide Thong was so knowledgable and interesting. He took his camera and the birds are his photos that I have posted. he finally took us for a bite to eat back in Phnom Penh. I can't recommend this tour enough if you like bird watching!Written 2 February 2025
- Shopping C0 contributionsNo regrets, highlight of my tripI totally love my guide Narith. He was sincere, observant and witty. We had a good trip from the moment we met at my hotel lobby. It’s great that he worked in the fields when he was younger so he was able to explain the workings of the farm as we went through the fields and plantation.Written 31 January 2025
- Lee O0 contributionsWe saw so many beautiful birds 😊We had a wonderful morning with Thong. He picked us up 5.30am from hotel and we had an interesting trip on the ferry to other side of river to Phnom Penh city. He took us to a wetland area, teeming with life, where we had great sightings of an amazing array of birds, all new to us. He looked after us so considerately, bringing us mango fruit and cold water. He took us to great place for breakfast, overlooking a lake with swallows and a bee eater perched on reeds clearly visible with the naked eye. We then went to a forested area around a temple, where the bird watching was superb. Thong was very skilled at finding the birds and helping us find them. We had great sighting of Cambodian Tailor Birds, plus 44 other birds! My favourites were the White Rumped Shama and the Shikra. We were delighted to have seen so many beautiful birds! It was an absolute pleasure to meet Thong and his trip is brilliant. Binoculars were available from Thong too. he also provided us with the bird list of our sightings. Fantastic to get the chance to see great wetland and forest areas so close to the city. Hugely enjoyable. Thank you Thong!Written 25 January 2025
- alicejhtan0 contributionsA fun day cycling and exploring!A brilliant day! Well-organised, nice bikes and helmets, and a great host (polite and friendly). This is a great way to see the Cambodian countryside, and was one of our favourite activities when staying in Phnom Penh.Written 16 January 2025
- Voyager121629295040 contributionsLovely concept disappointing arrangementsI'm afraid our experience on a self guided cycling trip in Portugal was rather disappointing too. This was one of the few times we've used a tour operator, hoping to pay extra for a smoother more insightul experience. But it wasn't really. When we saw the hotels they had booked we quickly looked out alternatives but they wouldn't let us change them. Macs subcontract everything to a local firm so were unable to take decisions, the local contact was very nice but the company were inflexible. The hotels were lazy choices, and miserably disappointing. So we paid for their acommodation but also booked our own, these were fairly cheap, lovely hotels which could accomodate bikes safely. The self guided routes were good, but they were just downloads easily available online. There was no other information like points of interest, restaurants or extra tips to help you stay on courseWritten 15 January 2025
- G4835JNroxanad0 contributionsVery nice local experienceNarith was an excellent guide who immersed us in the insights of Cambodia. We visited many local businesses, from small silk and cotton enterprises to a pagoda and a skin tofu factory. Everything was well-planned, and he took great care of us, always ensuring that we understood all the information.Written 13 January 2025
- SiwF110 contributionsGreat Experience and insightsVery interesting tour with great experiences. The guide told a lot of things about living on the Silk Island as he grew up and lives there as well. The food was amazing and the spots very interesting. I can highly recommend this to everyone!Written 13 January 2025
- I3906RVwendyh0 contributionsBirdwatching from Phnom PenhI was picked up at my hotel in Phnom Penh and driven by Thong Chea to several diverse areas for bird watching. He took great care to make sure we found a variety of water, forest and open farmland birds. We saw nearly 40 different species but the highlight was the endemic Cambodian Tailorbird. I would highly recommend this trip to other keen birdwatchers.Written 26 December 2024
- jenniegrant20160 contributionsA day biking on Silk island and Mekong Island, learning about the Cambodian way of lifeThe most amazing adventure with our guide Sey. Support local and book this tour, you will not regret it. We learnt so much about the Cambodian way of life on this tour. The highlight for us was visiting the Silk Island school. Sey is an absolute asset to your business, thank you for going out of your way Sey to teach us so much about your way of life.Written 25 December 2024
- 972farzada0 contributionsAwesome experienceThis bike tour was an incredible adventure! The scenery was breathtaking, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the organization was top-notch. The route was perfectly planned, and the included stops for refreshments were a delightful touch. The terrain is flat all the way, which made it pretty easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!Written 24 December 2024
- LouiseJC20140 contributionsReally a great day. Loved it.Guide, Say, was great. Loved cycling around the back streets and getting a glimpse of the lives of the locals. Tasted interesting food and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Highly recommend.Written 15 December 2024
- Marek J0 contributionsMr Nuth is an excellent cycle guide! My mother (fit at 74 years) and I enjoyed a great day cycling, ferrying over to explore silk island with a sit-down tasting different Cambodia fruits at the silk factory, and later a great lunch on a floating restaurant. Mr Nuth was our super attentive and mindful guide. Being picked up and returned to our hotel, we truly enjoyed the day! Thank you very much Mr Nuth, kind regards, Jacobs family from Amsterdam NLWritten 27 November 2024

A fabulous tour not to be missed.
We were picked up at our hotel bang on time by our your guide Narith. Tuk tul to the ferry crossing and picked our bikes up on the other side of the river. Great mountain bikes, excellent condition helmets and water.
A leisurely bikeride across the island visiting temples and local street stalls, taking in local life. Plenty of time to ask questions and take photos. Another ferry took us back on the main land (I think and we cycled some more. A delicious lunch was served at a silk farm after we learnt about the process and had the opportunity to buy beautifully crafted silks at a very reasonable price. More cycling, we probably covered around 22 miles...don't let that put you off... Plenty to see, stops and ferry rides break the journey up. I wouldn't describe either of us as super fit or that we cycle often. The roads are flat, although in places bumpy. The local people are lovely, smiley and friendly. Our guide was fab, informative, proffessional and fun. Thanks Narith.
Oh a little tip...don't forget your sunscreen..it's hot out there with no shade!

I can’t recommend this company enough. Such a joy to do business with. We were able to organise our trip at short notice due to business plans. Phea was our guide and he was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the tour.
Arrived early at the hotel for pick up, everything was co-ordinated perfectly. Bikes in good condition.
Great trail away from the city seeing the real local people and crafts at work. Wonderful to stop and see the silk farm with kind hospitality. Children everywhere smiling , waving and saying ‘hello’
Finished after 20km at the golden temple and your incorporated 3 ferry rides which was great fun.
Just loved this tour can’t wait to do another one with you guys!
Thank you so much 😀😀

It was a very lovely & leisurely ride through the country side. The lunch is very tasty and it was very neat to see the making of silk. We made many stops to learn about the food and the land. Pisey was also a very friendly and kind guide and extremely accommodating. When the other person on the tour had to leave in the middle of it to catch a bus, Pisey arranged for him to get there on time and then did the rest of the tour with both bikes (which was funny and he was a great spirit about it!)

This was a nice way to spend a day outside of the city and getting some exercise. My guide was very knowledgeable and personable, and had a great sense of humor. He regularly made sure that I was OK in the heat and truly made the day enjoyable! Everything was seamless and the bike was in good condition. The silk farm stop was interesting with great hospitality--one of the best meals I had in Cambodia and they even honored my vegan dietary restriction. A very pleasant day!
