Tastes of Phnom Penh
Leah was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed the experience and recommend it to others interested in tasting street food ib Phnom Penh.

Very knowledgeable guide and great food
Feb. 2020
Tour guide was Titi (not sure on the spelling), but she was great! Very personable, and knowledgeable about the food history and restaurant history in the stops we made.
Our tour had 5 stops and each restaurant had their own style. One was so good, we went back the next night! Highly recommend.

So much amazing food.
The lost plate food tour is by far my favorite culinary experience in Cambodia. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. They took us to so many delicious spots that we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. The food on this tour was the best we experienced anywhere during our 8 days in Cambodia.

Riding around on tuk tuks is a great way to see the city at night and much more fun than many of the walking food tours offered in other cities.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Phnom Penh.

Taught me what foods to look for and eat
Feb. 2020
The tour was a great intro to Cambodian food and culture. My friend and I took the tour at the beginning of our trip which helped us scout out dishes and street vendors throughout our trip. I found the tour incredibly helpful as it was my first time in Southeast Asia and I didn't fully understand the food culture. I wouldn't have found the tour stops on my own, and each stop has a fascinating back story. We loved that several dishes pushed our palettes. Also, I'm gluten intolerant and was a little worried I would miss out, but the guides made it a non-issue.

Hi Shane! Leanna here :) It was so lovely to meet you both, I'm glad you all had a great time even though Yi might have been a bit nervous with me trailing on the tour! Cambodian cuisine deserves a place on the international stage but still remains pretty hidden. Especially in South East Asia, it's easy to find hawkers who are doing street food, but it is a lot trickier to find those OCD chefs who don't skimp on ingredient quality and who are sticklers to tradition even if it affects their margins! Those are the true gems here, and we're glad we could bring you to their kitchens :)

A must for all PP first timers
Feb. 2020
A Lost Plate Food Tour is a must for any PP first timers. The tour provides a road map to eating safely and enjoyably in PP. Our party of four joined three others and Lea, our host, took us to six locations (four restaurants, a dessert stall and a bar) via Tuk Tuk over 3 hours or so. The tour provided a variety of food types and ambiences, from street style to mainstream - and Lea provided some historical context along the way as well!

Thank you for the review! Absolutely do food tours everywhere you go, and on your first night if possible so you can build a palette-map of the cuisine and get all the best local recommendations. Also, drinking beer in a tuk tuk is definitely the local way to do it! We hope you enjoyed your time here, and that we'll be sharing a table with you again soon!

A great intro into eating in Phnom Penh
Our guide Lea was friendly and kept us engaged, and the variety of food was great! We definitely would not have felt comfortable finding these restaurants ourselves so it was a great intro to eating in PP! We were lucky enough to have a total group of 8 (two smaller groups and an individual) who all got along well, which definitely helped too.

Cambodian cuisine's variety is so easy to overlook, we're glad you noticed that on our menu. When designing these experiences, it's always a tricky balance between showing off heritage and how much space your stomach has :) I'm glad you enjoyed your group, we like to keep it between 2-10 so it's always a bit fun to meet others and share a beer or six with other adventurous eaters!

Highly recommend!
This food tour was so much fun for our group of six who only had 48 hours in Phnom Penh, a wonderful city! It ended up being only us in the group so it was like a private tour. We went to very local places that we would have NEVER known about on our own, and everything was delicious. Our guide Lea was very knowledgeable, spoke fluent English and candidly answered all of our questions. The night ended at a cool bar for cocktails. So fun to travel by tuk tuk and afterwards they brought us wherever we wanted to go. Don't miss this tour! Thank you Lea and team!

Thanks for your review! I'm glad we were able to deliver a delicious experience, and hopefully give you some insights into what it was like to watch Cambodia enter the 21st century with our local guide. Lea is from a rice-farming village up north but has been here for many years now making quite the name for herself. Reviews like this remind us why we love what we do, thanks so much for spending a few of your very limited hours in Phnom Penh with us.

Great night
I had a great time with Tee. She had great knowledge about the city and the history of the Khmer cuisine. We tried a variety of food in small and some larger restaurants. Everything was delicious. Drinks at all stops and even an alcoholic beverage at the end at the roof top bar. One of the few tours where you actually get full!

It's our personal philosophy that tours should always leave you full, preferably before the last stop. In our team group chat, it's always a point of pride when guests are already full but keep eating anyway because the food is too gorgeous to deny! All our guides aren't just professionally trained, but also really fun people with unique histories and perspectives. Whenever I follow along a tour with them I learn something new (even though I've run 100s of the tours here!) and love how they each interpret our tour story. Thank you for your review!

Street Food And Booze Tour
Jan. 2020 • Couples
We did the evening tour with Lea and it was fantastic! The food at each spot was delicious and very unique. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Lea did an exceptional job giving us the history and background of not only the food but also Cambodia in general. The unlimited beer was a great plus too!

Unlimited food and unlimited beer always makes for a memorable night! I think that's the part that grabs guests at first, but I love how our guides manage to sneak in hours of history to accompany all these local delights. History lessons are always best over 9-course dinners.

Good Fun!
Dec. 2019
Lea took our group on a good fun adventure around the streets of PP. We really enjoyed the evening, we had a great mixed crowd, buzzed around by tuk tuk, enjoyed the food and ventured into restaurants we would never have experienced on our own. Recommend.

Thank you so much for the review! It's always more fun with a group and sharing a table (or five) with like-minded eaters. We work hard to provide an authentic Phnom Penh experience- which definitely involves drinking beers in tuk tuks, and eating a little more than we should!
