Historical Phnom Penh Small-Group Tour, including Genocide Museum and Killing Fields
From USD 58.00
The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek are two of the most visited sites in Phnom Penh. Learn more about the Khmer Rouge regime and Cambodia’s complex history from your guide, who will help you understand the significance of the memorials. A small group means plenty of personal attention, while hotel pickup and street-food snacks add extra convenience.
What to Expect
Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Phnom Penh by air-conditioned vehicle.

First, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and follow your guide on a tour of the former Security Prison 21 (S-21), one of the most notorious locations of the Khmer Rouge regime. Continue to the Choeung Ek Memorial, another important location in Cambodia’s tragic history. Listen as your guide explains why the area is known as the “Killing Fields” and take a moment to reflect as you see thousands of skulls excavated from the site.

Back in the city, reflect on the morning’s tour while sampling some traditional Khmer snacks and street foods, before your tour ends in central Phnom Penh.

Absolutely amazing

A truly harrowing experience....a must do tour in Phnom Penh. Our tour guide, Reya, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous in what can only be described as a horrific and confronting topic.

A must do if you are visiting Phnom Penh

I disagree with the previous reviewer. We had Da as our guide. It was remarkable to hear what her family had gone through. She was able to answer all of our questions. And to have a clear understanding about the severity of the situation. I...More
