Many, many thanks to our tour guide, Sam, for making this a memorable holiday!
We booked an 11 days tour through Tucan travel ("Georgia & Armenia Experience tour"), through which we could visit Armenia for 5 days, supported by Silk Road. Not only were the destinations of the tour amazing (the accommodations were also great), but Armenia also proved to be an AMAZING country populated by the most wonderful and warm-hearted people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Our tour guide, Sam Gasarjian, is most certainly amongst the greatest tour guides one can hope for! Aside from being extremely kind and always ready to help, he is as knowledgeable as no other guide I have met before! He ALWAYS had an answer even to the most unimportant questions that might come up! Moreover he clearly cared truly about our group (it was 8 of us), gave us great recommendations and offered to take us to see any other places we might want to visit, that might be close to our route, and that were not in the plan. Because of safety reasons, he did not feel comfortable taking us to the last two monasteries of our tour (Sanahin & Haghpat Monasteries), as a couple of weeks before a bad accident happened, due to a landslide that hit the road. He instead took us to visit other 2 monasteries, which, however, proved to be just as interesting as we would have hoped. (I would like to add that he did give us the choice to go to the planned Sanahin & Haghpat monasteries, but we let him decide what would be best for us). He most definitely played a big role into making this a memorable holiday! I would definitely recommend to anyone to visit Armenia! It is a land that people unfortunately know too little about. Yet it has so much history, sometimes tragical, which the world NEEDS to know about. And it is a land that has so much to offer, starting from the hospitality and the heart of its wonderful people. See you again Armenia!

Great experience, would recommend
I booked a 21 day trip though Georgian holidays who partner with Silk Road for one week of our tour. The company is very professional and our guide Tiko was outstanding. He was very kind and full of information, very knowledgeable and aimed to please. He gave us many great restaurant recommendations and organised for us to have a dinner at an Armenian family of our driver Gagik which was a really authentic experience, we cooked a traditional BBQ drank home made vodka. Gagik was a great driver and very friendly though he didn’t speak much English, Tiko’s English is excellent. The 6 nights was a good amount of time to have a good look around Armenia, it’s a super safe country with Friendly service and beautiful scenery. I would really recommend this company /tour for all ages. I took the private tour for 4 people and it could be adapted to your personal interest.

First Trip to Armenia
This was our first trip to Armenia and all I can say is that it was very unforgettable. It was here where we experienced our first snow. We also recommend trying the kebabs and the Armenian soups here. Our tour guide, Miss Anoush, was very accommodating, but we feel like she could improve by being strict to the itinerary schedule. For there were several people in the group who refused to come down to the hotel lobby at the designated time, thus effectively wasting the other customers’ time in waiting for them. I also lost my phone during the Geghard Monastery visit, however I was able to retrieve it through the help of the agency.

Appeciation Review
Good Day, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you firm for arranging a wonderful trip for us. Everything was perfect. The accommodations and attractions were fantastic. We loved Teghenis Mountain Tsakhkadzor in particular. Our guide, Anush Martirosyan was terrific! She is incredibly knowledgeable and multitasked oriented person, We felt like she is part of our family and We knew more than the tour guides at each attraction as She gave us such an in depth introduction to each place before we went. She also told us the highlights to look for at each place. We will certainly recommend your company if anyone I know is planning a trip to Armenia. Thanks again, Mohd Alfarra

Amazing Travel Agency - Q
I came to Yerevan for a 5-day visit with the Agency and I was impressed by their professionalism and hospitality. Absolutely amazing company. They took us to everywhere in Armenia and made us enjoy our trip to the most. When it comes to their tour guides, they are the best. We went with a beautiful armenian girl who knows absolutely everything about armenia’s history. She also speaks spanish, english and russian. She was a big blessing. We had her as a friend because she was so helpful. I highly recommend this Agency.

Armenia
My family and friends recently visited Armenia, and what a triip it was! Tegran, our young and smart guide, made our journey around this fascinating country worthwhile. Landlocked from all four sides, this historic country surrounded by challenging mountains and canyons and monasteries reverberating with religious zeal lifted our spirits and confirmed our faith in the awesome resilience of the human spirit against all odds. Tegran was a gentleman throughout, always punctual, full of historic information, always willing to extend a helping hand, and he had me sold with the kindness with which he saw my daughter off at the airport at 3 a.m.! Silk Road did a great job in planning our itinerary, booking our accommodations, and providing us with Tegran, and Mr. Derrenick, our driver. I would recommend everyone travelling to Armenia that he/she gets in touch with Silk Road to discover the soul of this splendid country.
