About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- hassan3670 contributionssharing experienceI visited a DA NANG Accompanied by the driver tin of the travel agency Bee Bee Travel I had a lot of fun as the driver was very understanding and friendly, even if you want to change your visit program, he was very flexible and helpful, also I want to thank Ms.THU, who was coordinating the trip with me before and after my arrival, as she was following the order and keen on the quality of ServiceWritten 20 December 2023
- mollymumE0 contributionsGreat tour guideMy husband and I had a half day tour to the Tombs in Hue. Ha was our guide. She was informative, interesting and a lovely guide. We learnt a lot and had a great morning. Highly recommend.Written 2 July 2023
- Johnny9310 contributionsWouldn’t go withoutWe had Ruby as our guide and she was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the history and had great incite to all 13 kings and their stories. The palace is way too big to self guide so have Ruby was essential. Would recommend!Written 1 May 2023
- hkrutek0 contributionsStress free way to tour Hue from DanangWe really enjoyed the views at the top of the Hai Van pass as we headed to Hue. Pickup at our hotel in Danang was easy and went as requested. Ms. My was our tour guide for the day in Hue. She was so informative, just a delight to be with. She really made the history come alive. We explored the imperial Citadel, the Thien Mu Pagoda and the Khai Dinh tomb with stops along the way for coffee and lunch.Written 19 April 2023
- S4435HWadamk0 contributionsBrilliant half day tour!Greeted by our driver at our hotel, Qúy, who was the most welcoming and happy guide to have. He was brilliant, spoke very good English and was able to provide us history and background travelling for each of the places. En route, there is an optional choice to stop off at a cafe that specialises in Salted Coffee, this is a must try. Afterwards, a short drive (about 10km) to the first tomb, which your tour is flexible to your own needs / wants. The entry fees are not included but you can buy a bundle package that covers off all of the tombs and Citadel. I recommend spending about 1 hour in each and purchasing the audio guide to give you the best experience whilst in there. I also recommend going as early as possible, in April, it gets hot around 1pm so we were able to head early around 8.30am. Between the tombs, we stopped at a local shop which we got to make our own incense and there were loads of wee bits too but also, all handcrafted. Water and umbrella (if required) is provided on board. Definitely the best way to experience the tombs of Hue. Would recommend to anyone.Written 7 April 2023

- RachnNic0 contributionsBest tour in HueWe had a perfect day in Hue with Bee Bee travel. Easy communication and booking, payment was simple, no problem to modify the tour to suit our requirements. Thuy, My and the driver were all professional, funny and thoughtful. Car was so clean and great safe driving. The day flowed effortlessly with tour history and general chats about life in Vietnam. The guide My had perfect English and even got our kiwi jokes. Lovely lunch stop. Attention to detail and service was perfect.Written 27 March 2023
- Jared H0 contributionsVery Interesting Tour! This tour was the highlight of our time spent in Hue. Our tour guide, My, was extremely knowledgeable about the Nguyen dynasty and made the subject very interesting and easy to understand. We also thoroughly enjoyed talking to My about her daily life in Vietnam. She spoke very good English and was full of personality. You cover a lot of ground on this tour, but she kept it engaging and shared many interesting stories about Vietnamese history along the way. Highly recommend!Written 20 January 2023
- scnzzz0 contributionsUnique, of the beaten path trip through Vietnamese imperial historyAmazing visit! Sam was a cheerful, informative, knowledgeable guide, with a great sense of humor! The trip is great in that it takes you off the beaten path to one of the less visited tombs, which while not as well maintained as the more commonly visited (read: crowded) one, is more contemplative and thought provoking. And the Hue special coffee (don't let the salt throw you) was absolutely delicious and unique. Definitely worth the timeWritten 31 December 2022
- terrybussjnr0 contributionsExcellent No Rush Tour of HueDespite the rain being torrential for the entire day we had a great time with Mr. Tuan, saw some fantastic sites in and around Huè, ate great food and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mr. Tuan really made our day. He was very informative and had much local knowledge of life in Hue now and throughout its history. He was also very funny and we had a good laugh together. And when I left my backpack in the taxi after we returned to our hotel BeeBee travel raced it back to me before I left for the airport. If you only have one day in Hue this tour will allow you to see the highlights, without the rushing around involved on other tours, whilst you really learn about why these places are important to Hue and its culture.Written 17 December 2022
- Steve-CdnTravelLover0 contributionsExcellent full-day tour in Hué with Bee Bee TravelMy wife and I really enjoyed our full day tour in Hué with Ly of Bee Bee Travel. Ly was knowledgeable and engaging, but did not overwhelm us with too much information. And she is a very interesting young woman prepared to talk about her life and to answer our questions. The logistics worked very smoothly. The driver (whose name sadly escapes me) was always punctual and pleasant, always holding the door open. Both the Citadel, which consumed all morning, and the three royal tombs we visited in the afternoon, were very interesting. We had initially found the US$65/person charge a little expensive, more than we would usually pay for a group tour (but much less than you would pay for a private tour of this quality). But the tour also included a very good lunch (we enjoyed excellent pho) and demonstrations of how to make the iconic hats and the ubiquitous incense sticks. The tour was good value for the money. Although we had signed up for a group tour, no-one else signed up. I guess they were scared by the non-stop rain of the previous week, including the torrential downpour the day before. My wife and I got to enjoy a private tour. We felt spoiled by Ly and the driver. We both highly recommend both Ly and the agency, Bee Bee Travel.Written 10 December 2022
- simeenv0 contributionsThe best tour I’ve been on!This is by far one of the best tours I’ve been on in any country I’ve been to. Our tour guide Mimi was so funny and kind and made our whole experience very special. We learned so much about Vietnam’s history and culture from her, her English was amazing! She also went out of her way to get my partner a birthday cake as it was her birthday. Honestly such a great experience and cannot recommend it enough.Written 23 November 2022
- Rblake8110 contributionsExcellent tour of the Citadrr we l with the best guide!A friend and I had an excellent, very informative tour. Rose, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us all around the Citadel showing us all aspects and providing lots of historical information. She also answered our many questions about life in Hue and her own experiences. The Citadel is well worth seeing, especially with an excellent tour guide like Rose!Written 29 October 2022
- matt p0 contributionsExploring Hue one dish at a timeNgoc & Jueng were exceptional guides on our motorbike food tour through Hue. My wife and I love to do a food tour the first night we are in a new city. We find its a fun way to experience the local cuisine in places that we would never know about or perhaps would be intimidated to eat at as a foreign tourist. You also end up meeting real cool people that have spent a lifetime in that city. They share their experience and insights with you. This time we had some really great guides who gave us incredible insight into the cuisine of Hue and life in Hue. We had such a great time chatting over what seemed like an endless bounty of dishes from hidden gems throughout the city. Ngoc followed up with us days after our tour to see how the rest of our trip was going. She even send us a detailed itinerary along with photos of all the dishes to help jog our memories. Truly above and beyond. It's such a fun way to experience Hue. Without hesitation I'd say book this tour, just leave a lot of room in your stomach because there is soooo much food. 5 star experience for sure ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Written 6 September 2022

We did the tour in the morning of our first full day in Hue and it was a perfect introduction to the city and its history. Our guide clearly knew her stuff and was able to answer all our many questions. The imperial city is huge, and so the tour focussed on key areas instead of trying to cover everything. We liked this: it gave us time to really absorb what we were seeing, and then ask follow-up questions.
I would recommend this tour over those that try to cover too much ground and end up being rushed.

We did an afternoon walking tour of the Imperial City, and learned SO much more than we would have if we’d wandered around on our own. Ha was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic! She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially as a Hue native, but she is also funny and friendly, and we had a wonderful time with her. She (as I’m sure all the Bee Bee guides do) really made the stories come alive. Even in intense afternoon heat, we had a lot of laughs. :) Thanks to the easy communication options on the site, we were able to connect with Thu and book last-minute, but I think we got lucky with availability, and would recommend booking in advance so you’re sure to get a spot!

I booked a citadel tour and My was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting; she answered all of our questions and made for an excellent tour, keeping everyone engaged. The imperial city is beautiful, and I enjoyed the visit enough to book a second one to visit the emperors' tombs. My was my guide again, and her historical knowledge is impressive. I can't recommend this tour highly enough, definitely a great way to learn about the history of Hue. I also got advice on other things to see in the city, and she wrote down an itinerary for a food tour that I could do, which was really appreciated!

I couldn’t recommend BeeBee and Thu enough. I contacted her via website to help me with a transfer from Dong Hoi to Hue and she arranged for a car and for a very honest price in comparison to other providers. I then asked if I could do a walking tour with them as well to see the Citadel and one of the tombs I was particularly interested in, as most tours include only citadel or three tombs and it’s hard to find something more bespoke.
She recommended the best place for lunch where I met Ms Ha (my guide).
Ms Ha was so knowledge and spoke perfect and very clear English. She could answer any questions. She made the whole tour very enjoyable and helped me also get a mosquito repellent as the minute I arrived in Hue seems like they all decided to descend on me 🫣
I would recommend to use this local company for any Hue adventures to anyone. Thank you for marking this one of my highlights of two weeks in Vietnam!

3 hours tour that really helped understanding the history and all details behind the Imperial city. Without this tour I probably would have learnt less than half what it is explained on the audio guide. Our lovely tour guide Ha was lovely and very knowledgeable. It was also a last minute booking from the morning to the afternoon of the same day so really appreciated the responsiveness. I definitely recommend booking this tour!

We booked the Imperial palace tour with BeeBee on the same day of our tour. The booking process was easy.
For us our guide (Miss My) made the tour very enjoyable. Through sheer luck we were the only two on the afternoon tour, and My kept the conversation flowing - answering all questions, sensing our interests & tailoring her stories to them, and stepping back to give us plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere at the more scenic locations.
Her English was excellent, as was her knowledge, and speaking with her was highly enjoyable because of her energy and passion for history. We'd definitely recommend a walk through the Imperial City with Miss My.

I need to start my review with a rave about the tour guide, My. She raised the bar for tour guides. She is fun, knowledgeable, passionate, interesting, and empathetic. Her excitement for the subject matter shows through in how she delivers the information. Her joy is infectious which lightened the mood our group had after an exhausting ride to Hue and heavy rain during the tour.
My, the tour guide, even went so far as insisting to buy us ponchos to keep us dry during the rain. Of course we didn't let her do that (we bought them ourselves), but it shows the lengths she went to to ensure we had a terrific and memorable experience. It worked.
I loved learning about the emperors of Vietnam and seeing the grounds on which they lived. My did an incredible job telling the stories of the emperors. She engaged us with questions and answered all of ours.
I highly recommend any tour led by My. The Imperial City is also a very interesting place

Fantastic tour guide, great tour around the imperial city. Very tailored to what we wanted to see, never felt rushed and felt very personal.
Picked up from the hotel in taxi with the guide and dropped off after.
Our guide was My who could not have been better, she was knowledgeable, friendly and had answers to every question we had.
We highly recommend and think it was excellent value for money!

Ms. Ha led a wonderful 3-hour trip through the imperial city. She was very informative and gave interesting context to all of the history, culture, and various sights of the Imperial City. My family and I, 3 adults, were very satisfied with the experience. We also received amazing food recommendations from Thu, A+ ☺️
