It was a great experience to taste a variety of local Vietnamese food and indirectly experience various Vietnamese cultures. Jennifer, our guide, also kindly taught us about various foods and cultures, so it was a fun experience to learn more about Vietnam.

Phillip and Jenny from Saigon Hotpot were amazing guides. We learnt so much about Ho Chi Minh city from them and they took us to a delicious pho restaurant. So friendly and accommodating.

I had an amazing time on my first night in Ho Chi Minh thanks to Linh! She shared a lot about Vietnamese culture and brought me and my mum to a great place for dinner. We also visited the Cafe Apartment that I wanted to go 😊 I had a lot of fun chatting with Linh about our lives as well. She also shared with me food places and cafes to visit on our trip which we appreciate greatly. I would recommend anyone who wants to learn more about Vietnam in a casual and fun manner to book a tour with Saigon Hotpot!!

what an amazing tour. we were met by our guide An at our hotel and she quuickly made us feel welcome. we did the night food tour. An's warmth and knowledge was relatable and informative. the whole family loved it and we cant recommend An highly enough. this was her first solo tour, but you wouldn't know she was so confident, friendly, warm and knowledgabale. she quickly built a rapor with all of us. by then end of the tour she felt like part of our family. thank you for such a great evening

After registering, SH reached out approx. a week out from the desired tour date. They assigned Minh Dat as our tour guide, who our party felt immediately at ease with. We started the day at a local Vietnamese cafe. He showed us around, helped us to cross the road, buy fruits, found a local Pho vendor. Minh Dat was always courteous and proud to share some history of his city, it's relogion and it's founder. I recommend SH to anyone who would like a walking guided tour.

Really fun night out in Saigon, visiting the food market with Thuy and Ngan! Despite the poor weather they introduced us to local Vietnamese delicacies (Vietnamese pancakes! Mango and coconut ice cream! Broken rice!) and our kids had so much fun with them. Plus, they and we support a charity by doing so - what’s not to like?! Highly recommended!

We did the city tour and also the food tour with guides Andy, An and Tianh. All the girls were polite, chatty friendly, and at all times they looked out for our safety and well being. We loved both tours. We went to the independence Palace, Central Post Office and Ben thanh market. We sent a postcard home and An even wrote a little message in Vietnamese which we look forward to receiving at home. We tried delicious coconut juice and sugar cane juice at the market. For the food tour we went to a different district in a grab, what an unforgettable experience that was. We visited a flower market and street food market. The traffic was so busy and the girls helped us to navigate crossing the road full of cars and bikes. It was crazy!! We tried delicious fruit tea and avocado and coconut ice cream. Then we went for seafood which consisted of various types of seasnails and clams. Unfortunately they were not to our taste but we really enjoyed the experience and being able to immerse ourselves in Vietnamese culture. Huge thanks to Andy and friends for these memorable tours. The girls were so knowledgeable and made us feel welcome at all times. We loved it and would definitely recommend these tours!

The tour was good and insightful! Our tour guide was very helpful and kind, bringing us around famous and even less touristy spots in Chinatown. Would definitely book a tour with them again!

Yup. This is the BEST free tour in Saigon. You wouldn’t know where to find these hidden gems. We even had a little rain tour since it’s raining season. Full send with a lot of history. Hidden Gun Arsenal was personally my fav.

We met 2 delightful young girls, Jane and phuong, they took us to the street food market to try the local cuisine which was fantastic. They knew which vendors to buy from. I have 2 daughters and it was great for them to meet local girls of similar age. I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Ho chi Ming for the first time.

This Chinatown tour exceeded all my expectations thanks to our incredible guide, Ms Hoang Kim! Her expertise and passion for the area were evident from the start. We delved into the rich history, visited beautiful temples, and sampled some of the best food I've ever had. Kim was personable, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone had a great time. Plus, the food recommendations were spot on! This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting the city!

Our local companions for our half day city tour were Phuong and Trang. The girls did an excellent job showing us around and we enjoyed getting to know them and chatting about their daily lives. The tour included a visit to the Independence Palace where the girls showed us through the palace rooms and bunker sharing lots of information and local knowledge. Our kids loved writing postcards at the Saigon Central Post Office to send back home to Australia. We concluded our walk at Ben Thanh market for some shopping, cold drinks and Com Tam for lunch. Thanks for an interesting and memorable day in Saigon!

We had an inner city tour with Pham Thanh Thanh ( Andy) on 21 st June. Every aspect of the tour was of a terrific standard and we enjoyed every minute of it. Andy was informative, friendly and engaging. We learnt an enormous amount about local landmarks and history. She will make a terrific tour guide( if not already one)

An and Cat were amazing ambassadors for Saigon and Vietnam. They were friendly and showed us a small slice of what life is like for young Vietnamese college students. They tailored our tour to show us local shops, which is what we were interested in. They even sent follow-up recommendations of food spots, cafes, and more shopping destinations. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to experience an amazing introduction to Vietnam with young locals.

Had a fantastic night out sampling the wonderful sights sounds and smells of a couple of the alleyways and food streets of Ho Chi Minh with our extremely knowledgeable guides Cat and Kim. Thank you so much for sharing your time, expertise and a little bit of yourselves! As much as we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the company even more. As an added bonus, we got to watch the Saigon Hot Pot torch being past from Cat who is starting her career to Kim who is just starting her Hotpot career.
