It was our first time to Vietnam, and we were not disappointed. Vi met us at the hotel and was a bundle of joy. She took us under her wing, and off we went in a lovely airconditioned van to the mouth of the Meekong. we boarded a boat there and meandered through the tributaries. A real experience. Stopping at a genuine Vietnamese village, we met the lovely locals, and were welcomed into their home. We even learned how to make Vietnamese Pancakes by our lovely host family. We experienced not only a side of Vietnam we would never have seen, but Vi also took us the following day, to explore markets, beautiful food, the Palace, and the War Museum. Vi was well informed, organised and a pleasure to be with. She has a great sense of humour too. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Unique experience with Vi, who make me discover a secluded mangrove forest, saw giant bats, huge ants nest, long tail monkeys, mangrove fishs, crabs…. And gorgeous view.

Very nice and experience person! She teach authentic Vietnamese cooking, the class is full of fun! You sure will love the session !

Anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh city who wants a private tour, I can’t recommend Lose the tie tour more highly! We booked a 3 day tour of which the content was amazing. The online booking system was simple! We hardly bumped into another tourist as we were taken to places not on the regular tour circuit. Bao our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and spoke fluent English. He also was very flexible and just wanted us to enjoy the experiences. The 3 days were so well planned, our mini van was always waiting for us and our driver as well was fantastic! All in all we had a very memorable trip in Ho Chi Minh City which was really down to Lose The Tie Tours and have taken home with us experiences that we will always remember so fondly.

This tour was my favorite one without doubt. Also here was amazing Vi my guide just like i mentioned in the review of my Cu Chi Tunnels tour. Beside my explore of beautiful jungel/nature area in Mekong Delta one thing that really got me in an awsome positiv way was the meeting and visiting of the warm-hearted and very hospitable locals! 👍👌Two really amazing and very kind families. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Vietnam thanks to the very informative and interesting tour guides! They were able to answer our numerous questions and share their own stories since they were all locals. All the tours were planned with our family (ages of kids) and interests in mind--and they were even able to show us some sights that were specifically requested. The guides and drivers were all extremely prompt and responsive when we needed to be in contact. We would definitely recommend Lose the Tie Tours if you want a comprehensive and fun time!

Vi, the operator, is one of the most well-read person we have met in years. She not only provide an in-depth, penetrating look at Ho Chi Min City, but also enlightened us on Vietnam in relation to the world. The tour guide she provided us for two excursions, Long, is equally knowledgeable and he brought us to places seen by few tourists. Highly recommended. Will defintely use this service again.

Vi made us feel very at ease and we enjoyed out time with Her very much. We got to see and experience a variety of things from bike riding in the Mekong delta (a must do, the ground is level and the distance not far), participating in preparing lunch with a family, boat ride along the river and visiting Cu Chi tunnels. Her English was excellent and I would recommend her to anyone.

I was very pleased that I chose this day tour. The guide was informative and spoke excellent English. The coconut farm and processing sites we visited were interesting and I liked that we were supporting local families and were not on a well-trodden tourist trail.The outdoor lunch prepared by a local family was fantastic, especially the fish dish and there was plenty of food. I felt the tour was great value for money and would recommend it to others with limited time in the Ho Chi Minh city area wanting to do a day trip.

This tour was one of the most memorable experiences in many from our SE trip. Ben Tre is a 2 hour drive from HCMC but once there the part of the Mekong Delta that Vi takes you to is a million miles from a traditional 'tourist experience'. It is a thoroughly well crafted experience, you leave having seen the natural beauty of the area, being given a real insight into the economy of the delta and some great encounters with local farmers and artisans. Me and my girlfriend booked a private Mekong delta tour for one day. We saw amazing local stuff like the coconuts (the whole process), the beautiful green land and we had several meetings with the locals organized by Vi. We only booked 1 day, but next time we will definitely reserve more days to explore the Mekong delta in Vietnam. We are very happy with our host Vi!

Just returned from Vietnam and we had the opportunity to go into the Mekong delta off the beaten path. Our guide Vi was both engaging and very informative of the trip but also all aspects of local Vietnamese ways of life and traditions .We ventured deep into the Mekong delta along cycle paths and narrow channels rowing past coconut trees and palms .Enjoyed local market ,where Vi explained all the different types of foods available and local dishes that are made up from the ingredients ,had a try making pancakes ,ps not a chef .Enjoyed lovely lunch .Thoroughly enjoyed day out ,would highly recommend Vi ,who offers other ventures in the area and much further afield .
