Great day out
Jan. 2020 • Family
Great day out though a really long day,Rah our tour guide was really friendly and told us heaps about the war from Vietnamese side.Temple was great the building was unreal and the different colour clothes the people wore.tunnels were quite good our whole family went down the longest one I think it was 50 metres long was really hot in the tunnel and wouldn’t recommend if you were the least claustrophobic.Had lunch at an amazing little restaurant with little waterfalls/ponds and birds every where meal was very nice.highly recommend

Both Cao Dai temple and Cu Chi tunnels are definitively worth visiting. The trip was organised very well and our guide - Yen provided us with interesting commentary.

Good experience
Nov. 2019 • Family
Cu Chi tunnels was a great experience. Well paced tour and experience. So much history to learn about.
Cao Dai Temple was okay. Nothing much to see or do. Kids were bored there. They lived Cu Chi and went in every tunnel available for tourists.

Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnel tour
Aug. 2019
Very interesting trip. Enjoyed the Temple experience - plenty of time allowed to appreciate the experience. Cu Chi Tunnels - just amazing- very informative tour and we had a chance to go into the tunnels also. Good demonstration of the traps that were used. Our guide Ms. Rah was very informative and pleasant throughout the day tour. Lunch was included - a nice selection of foods for lunch. We stopped then on the way back for Banh Mi (extra payment).

Enjoyable Trip
Jul. 2019 • Couples
Attended tour with TNK Travel. On the way the tour guide explained the purpose of Cu Chi tunnels during the war, we watched also an old Vietcong propaganda video on TV in the bus. Going through the tunnels was definitely an experience in itself despite being enlarged for "fat" westerners. Before that made it to the 12pm mass taking place at the Cao Dai Temple.
We also stopped at a lacquer factory were the workers have all been affected by the use of chemicals during the war. We had a tour around the workshop where we watched the workers making the art and the guide from the factory gave us very detailed information about the different processes involved.
The tour was also an enjoyable experience due to driving outside the city through the country area filled with the rice fields.

Cu Chi Tunnel Tour
We had a great day visiting Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai temple. Our tour guide was "Slim Jim" who had an extensive history knowledge of the area so he was able to answer most questions.

It was a great experience to be present during the Cao Dai service, and to be able to photograph the amazing interior.

On the way back from the Cao Dai temple we stopped a local restaurant for a great meal.

The Cu Chi Tunnels visit was an interesting and informative experience. We were able to walk and crawl through some of the tunnels to give us an idea of what it was like to inhabit the extensive tunnel system dug (by hand) during the Vietnam war.

If you are looking for an interesting one day tour from Ho chi Minh city I would recommend this one.
