About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- H M0 contributionsAuthentic Vietnamese Street Food Tour.I booked this food tour for my family with some hesitation knowing what the traffic is like in HCMC. Also, my wife and son have never ridden on a motorcycle before. However, at the end of the tour we all agreed that it was one of the best experience of our trip. The food was authentic Vietnamese street food. We had 10 stops sampling 10 different dishes. Kris, our tour guide leader, gave us a very good commentary on each sampling along with some history of the street vendors. My wife had a female driver, Tun as her driver and my son had Cheese. All were students and it was interesting to hear their story along the way. I was most impressed with how they negotiated the crazy traffic in HCMC. They are what made this tour so special for us. Just amazing people! And the food? Best to join this tour hungry because there was more than enough to eat with each sampling simply delightful.Written 22 January 2025
- Trek223596790470 contributionsno regrets joining this tour!quite last min, we decided to join the tour immediately after we arrived in HCMC. we glad we did it! there were only 3 of us which was perfect cos we prefer small group. Daniel, Ted and Cheese were our guides. they speak good English and they took good care of us. all the food were at places locals would go and they were all delicious. please join with empty stomach! we enjoyed our first night! thanks guys :)Written 21 January 2025
- N1889YAscottr0 contributionsPrivate Food tour with Saigon VibesToday we had a fantastic experience with Harry and Mac, they were extremely professional and very knowledgeable for their age (22) providing myself and my friend with a true Vietnamese tasting sensation…! Zipping through the city on a moped around 10 mins between each stop and a full description of what we were about to experience and also a little history of the area and the establishment that we were eating. A truly fun afternoon that I would recommend to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Brilliant 5 stars *****Written 21 January 2025
- George P0 contributionsA truly unforgettable experience. The food was sensational but what made the day special was Harry and Mac. Huge thanksThis food tour was outrageously good. Harry and Mac were our tour guides were so professional and knowledgeable and both spoke English amazingly. The food was incredible from start to finish and blasting through the streets of Saigon on the back of a motorbike was such good fun. If you’re planning a trip to Saigon you need to do this. Saigon Vibes baby, let’s go…!Written 21 January 2025
- NOLAavie0 contributionsCan’t miss way for great food and a lifetime experienceIt was one of the best tours I’ve ever gone on. I was a little concerned about riding on the back of a scooter as I am in my 60s. But the drivers are university students and are amazing guides. It is a great way to see the city. We had eight stops, each better than the last. Truly spectacular food from these little holes in the walls that you would just not venture into on your own. So the guides did their homework. Learned a lot about food, but the guides were friendly and open about discussing their lives. Solo traveler who was paired up with four others.Written 20 January 2025
- jimmykJ4171BG0 contributionsA MUST Do Food Tour In Ho Chi Minh CityKelly was an amazing tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the food scene in Ho Chi Minh City. She happily answered all of our questions and took the extra time after the tour to bring us to the best money exchange location, which was the gold store by Ben Thanh Market. Kelly even provided food recommendation for the remainder of our time in Ho Chi Minh City. Tun, my driver, easily and safely navigated the streets, while making good conversation throughout the tour. All of this, not to mention every food spot tasted great! I would book another tour with them in a heartbeat.Written 20 January 2025
- Climber6000620 contributionsOur motorbike food tour of Ho Chi Minh CityIf you're a food lover visiting Ho Chi Minh City, a motorbike food tour is an absolute must! This exhilarating experience not only allows you to indulge in the incredible culinary offerings of the city but also gives you a unique perspective of its vibrant streets and culture. From the moment we hopped onto the back of our guides' motorbikes, we felt the thrill of the bustling city around us. Our guides Kris, Kelvin, Khang, Happy and Thai were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their city and its food. They took us to hidden gems where locals dine. As we zipped through the city, our guides shared stories about their lives and their local culture. We sampled a range of vietnamese delights, each stop better than the last. Some of our highlights include a delicious bowl of Bun Bo Hue at a popular street stall – the broth was rich and flavorful, with fresh herbs that elevated the dish. We also ventured to a kiosk known for its Banh Mi, where the crispy bread and savoury fillings made for a perfect bite. Riding through the lively streets, with the wind in our hair and the scents of the city's street food wafting around us, made the entire experience even more thrilling. Ending the tour with a sweet dessert of banh flan from a local vendor was the cherry on top of an already perfect evening. Overall, the motorbike food tour in Ho Chi Minh City is a fantastic way to explore the culinary scene while experiencing the city’s energy firsthand. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Vietnamese cuisine in an unforgettable way!Written 20 January 2025

Guys were very friendly and ready to answer our questions not only about food, but also about life in Vietmam. I highly recommend this tour if you want to try food that is definitely tasty and locals approved, these were some places we will never visit our find ourselves. - seanwB2333UR0 contributionsLoved it!My business associate and I had a day to spend in Ho Chi MInh and decided the night before to take this food tour. We are so glad that we did. Everything about the experience was great. To start, Kelly was an outstanding guide sharing passion, knowledge and humor. Lexie and Tun were also with us and we were very impressed. The tour offers a chance to taste many different local cuisines, tour the city and enjoy the scooter ride. I thought the scooter would be the toughest part to enjoy but we loved it. Highly recommend this tour and would ask for KellyWritten 19 January 2025
- Safari5051580 contributionsHighlight of our stay in Ho Chi Minh CityThis motorbike food tour was the highlight of our trip in Ho Chi Minh City. Kelly and Tun were our guides and we got lucky as it was just me and my husband on this tour. Kelly was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and her city. We started the tour at 11:00 am and we so thankful that we didn't eat breakfast before the tour. There is so much food we couldn't eat everything at each stop. We enjoyed all the food and the history of each stop.Written 18 January 2025
- M7636LKbradm0 contributionsA must-try food tour! This was such a fun experience - there were 6 of us in total (3 couples) and the guides (Kelly, Happy, Ricky, Ted, Lu and Tun) were amazing. They were so passionate and chatted to us all the whole night, explaining the food, places, history of the stalls etc., plus giving their own personal insights. The food was really good and such a variety. You definitely get fed very well and the papaya salad with beef jerky was the star dish! Great vibe all around.Written 18 January 2025
- Ben H0 contributions#1 HCMC street-food tour in my opinion. Safe-drivers, really knowledgeable guides, and awesome food-picks. Will be back!Fantastic Saigon Vibes back-streets food tour on scooters! Our guides Jack and Thai were so knowledgeable and engaging, explaining all the ingredients, how to eat certain dishes correctly and background on the restaurants, culture and areas we visited. Jack’s been a guide for 6 years and his experience shows. 10-courses including drinks, appetisers, 4 main dishes and dessert. All off-the-charts incredible. And incredible value. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic glimpse into HCMC street-food options.Written 18 January 2025

This food tour was booked super last minute on our last day in HCMC.
Whilst it was the hottest day of the month, our tour guide Jack took us around all the little spots to experience some local food that HCMC has to offer.
From picking us from hotel to dropping us, Jack went above and beyond to ensure we were full, satisfied and comfortable. His knowledge of his city and the local food scene really made the short street food tour memory.
This food tour guide is highly recommend if you want to sample all the food in a small amount of time!

We landed in Ho Chi Minh City around 1 PM and had booked a walking food tour for the same evening at 5.30 PM. After 16 hours of travel, we were exhausted, but all that changed when we met Jack.
Not only is Jack very knowledgable about the food, he treated us like we were old friends catching up. 30 mins into the tour, we completely forgot that we were exhausted. Thanks to him, my wife and I (we just got married last month and this is day 1 of our honeymoon) had the most amazing time walking the streets and back alleys of Ho Chi Minh City -- eating foods at locations we couldn't possibly have discovered on our own in a short time, and experiencing an explosion of culinary treats on our taste buds. Jack explained every food item to us, the ingredients used, and showed us the right way to eat the foods and get the most flavour per bite.
My personal favourite was the beef noodle bowl, the most unique food we ate was the pancake (it's not what you think), and the night ended with a delicious yet light on the stomach coffee pudding (Banh flan).
Overall, I highly recommend taking a walking food tour especially with this host. Jack was great, the food was *chef's kiss*, and walking the streets seeing all the local sights made it all the more a memorable night for a lifetime.

We had the best street food tour with our student guide, Lizzy. She showed us so many hidden gems all serving local and widely different authentic Vietnamese foods, all while explaining the foods and locations in perfect English. It was one of our favorite experiences during our time in Vietnam. We booked the tour the night before and Lizzy was flexible in allowing us to start later then originally planned, and was on time in picking us up from our hotel and a perfect guide in HCMC busy streets. We would recommend to anyone wanting to try local street foods while seeing some hidden neighborhoods. We loved it! Thank you Lizzy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour around the streets of Ho Ch Minh with our guide Toan, a 19 year old student. He was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, sharing lots of details about his personal life and life in general for Vietnamese. He was full of information including the names of herbs in the dishes we ate, the correct way to eat the various meals and even knowledge of the flowers as we walked through the flower market. We loved that this was a private tour (excellent value for money) and that he checked on our food preferences to make sure he tailored the food choices for us. We can’t speak highly enough of our experience or the guide we had. We were so so full after our 4 hours of eating but luckily had room for the piece de resistance - a “secret dessert”. Can’t tell you! You will have to try the tour.

Tom guided our tour and he was excellent. My brother and I did this tour our first evening in Saigon and it was a wonderful introduction to the city. Before arriving, we knew we wanted to try street food, but we were nervous about getting sick or swindled. Tom made sure we experienced many popular dishes from street vendors. They were all excellent and we felt very safe with Tom as our guide despite being in unfamiliar and crowded areas. Highly recommend if you want a fun and reliable way to experience Saigon’s street food scene and get a feel for the culture of the city.

We had an amazing food tour in Ho Chi Minh City led by our guide, Huỳnh Chí Khôi, whose English was excellent. He answered all our questions about Vietnamese history and culture with great detail and took us through tiny streets and hidden alleys. The street food was fantastic, and most of the time we were sitting outside, enjoying the vibrant local atmosphere.
The tour included a total walk of about three kilometers—just the right amount of walking for a food tour. We were also lucky with the weather: it was slightly overcast and not too warm, making it perfect for exploring and tasting. For my wife, the flower stores are the highlight!
The food was absolutely brilliant, and this tour was an excellent way to learn about Vietnamese cuisine. Now, when walking around on our own, we know what the different dishes are and what they taste like. By the way, all the food and drinks were included in the price of the tour, which made it even better value for money.
Highly recommended if you want a deep dive into Vietnamese street food and culture!

This street food tour was fantastic, we would recommend it to anyone interested in the beautiful fresh food Vietnam has to offer. Our guide Kris told us all about the history of Vietnam and showed us the local areas which is so much different to what the tourists see. Kris has a lot of knowledge of Vietnam to share. All of the dishes we tried were so flavourful. My favourite was the spicy beef soup and the sticky rice with banana and coconut milk. Thank you so much Kris, we hope to see you again :-)

Amazing street food tour of Ho Chi Minh City. We did not think one of us would be able to participate in a street food tour in Vietnam due to a shellfish allergy but our tour guide, Harry, was extremely accommodating and adjusted the tour due to the allergy. Every stop was delicious and authentic. We tried multiple dishes that we otherwise would have never ordered and learned much more about Ho Chi Minh City as well. I highly recommend this tour and another big thank you to Harry who was amazing throughout the tour and spoke English perfectly making it extremely easy for us!

We have been travelling 3 weeks Vietnam from North to South, and still this food tour generated much value!
Entering into small food stalls where you can only order one dish, visiting the old quarter in HCMC, getting great food to taste…
Also guide Jack was the perfect person to guide me and my family around: he took care of everything!
Our kids also loved the food offered.
Just make sure you don’t order too much food in order to avoid having to waste it. There are plenty of stops!
Overall good experience!
And make sure you didn’t eat a few hours before ;-).

Jack, our food tour guide was just amazing. Me and my husband, Preetam have come on our honeymoon, and this was our first day in Vietnam. Jack took us to the most exquisite local places and helped us taste so many Vietnamese delicacies, we absolutely enjoyed the new flavours so much. He even showed us the techniques to eating some of the dishes. What floored us was how he got us a rose when he heard this was our honeymoon, and took us to have a special Avocado Coconut ice cream. We absolutely loved the experience and really recommend everyone to take up this tour when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
