After pickup at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel or other central location, travel by climate-controlled minivan to the Mekong Delta. At My Tho, board a small motorboat, exploring the maze-like waterways and enjoying the sights and tranquility. At Ben Tre Province, famous for its four islands—Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix—visit a stilted farm, where fish and shrimp are cultivated in under-house nets. See how coconuts turn into candies and handicrafts at a workshop, and taste local honey while enjoying some indigenous South Vietnamese music. Ride a hand-rowed sampan along picturesque canals and chug through villages aboard a motorized cart (xe loi) before a 5-course lunch by the riverside (dietary preferences catered on request). Later, visit Ving Trang Temple before your trip ends at the starting point. Please note: Tour itinerary may change without prior notice, although everything will be done to ensure your sightseeing runs on schedule.

    Colorful day on Mekong river
    I booked the tour with my friend for the Mekong Caibe and really enjoyed it. Everything was awesome and well planned, interesting local market, nice boat, nice cooking class with ban xeo, nice welcome drink snack wine. Our guide Ann was excellent, helpful and great photographer, she took us a lot of nice photos. Thanks for a great day!!!

    Rude tour guide
    The tour to the cu chi tunnels is really overrated however i still think it worth doing it. However do it with another company, our tour guide Thong/slim Jim was extremely opinionated, an American pro and was enforcing his personal opinions and beliefs strongly. He was rude, arrogant and offensive. He mentioned he doesn’t like muslims Nd guess what I’m one! .. he mentioned he supports Israel and what they doing in Gaza. Honestly worst experience. Also, if you ask a question he yells and say you need to listen… if you interact with others in the site he yells and ask to only listen to him.. he was a teacher and seems he was thinking he is still one and he needed to schools us !!!

    Excellent tunnel tour
    It was just the two of us on this tour and we had such a great experience. Anne our tour guide was lovely and knew so much about the tunnels. Well worth going to the further away tunnels that were less touristy. We got to see a movie before which set the seen and had a lovely late lunch. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to do a day trip to see the war tunnels.

    Well worth the Mekong Delta visit off the usual beaten tracks
    Wonderful tour guide in David for this less touristy Mekong Delta tour. Car trip to Ben Tre was 90km but took 2 hours given the heavy traffic. Took a motor boat and made interesting stops at a brick kiln, coconut processing face and also tried traditional mat weaving. Interesting experience on the Sampan and also the local ‘tuk-tuk’. David was knowledgeable in his sharing and end the tour with trace tips and a food-beverage recommendations. Definitely worth the experience.

    Experiencing Vietnam history and culture in a day
    I really enjoyed the tour provided by the tour guide named Win. He is very insightful and full of energy. We are able to efficiently participate through many activities. I got a chance to crawl through the Cu Chi tunnels, fire 20 rounds of an M60 Light machine gun on full auto, ride and paddle boats, jumping onto other boats, islands hopping, eat delicious meals, feed a crocodiles and learn a lot about both the Vietnam history and the existing culture. I highly recommend this tour.

    Chu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Solo
    Had a fantastic time with Nam the man as my guide through the full day tour of Chu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Nam is highly engaging, funny, knowledgeable and a good bloke! Nothing was ever too much for him and he made me feel well taken care of as a solo traveller. Would reccomend Nam and this tour to anyone! Thanks Mark

    Excelant adventure guide
    A day trip to CU CHI without BIG David would not be complete. His knowlegde and presentation of the history on the way was insightfull. Once we arrived he continued his presentation and guided us through the facility. Back on the bus to a delicious lunch and onto Mekong Big David now entertained us and we enjoyed a couple boat rides and treats. I would highly recommend a trip with Bid David. Need also to mention our great driver Mr Seven who some how managed to get us through all the traffic

    Beautiful experience of dining in a river cruise at Saigon river
    When I booked the cruise, I was thinking it would be an outdoor open area. But when I was there, I found the table in the indoor, good location to enjoy the cultural show but actually I was preferring a table in outdoor ambience rather than indoor one. To me the ambience of Saigon river is more enjoyable rather than dining inside. Win is an excellent tour guide who understood my requirements and took care of things very promptly ensuring I can enjoy the evening. He was indeed efficient enough in managing to change the table even at the very last moment. The food was set menu and vegetarian one (as I preferred). There were varieties of vegetables very delicious to taste. Because of Win, I could have beautiful memories of evening at Saigon river to cherish 🤩😍🥰

    Wonderful Mekong sightseeing!
    I really enjoyed the day tour arranged by the tour guide ,David. He was patient and gave us the highlights of the history that we've so much appreciated and learned so much about Vietnam and the history itself. I highly recommend to those who would like a tour should go with this tour group booking!

Fantastic Day on the Mekong River

Today we traveled with Duy to the Mekong Delta with a group of 12 wonderful people. The day was so fun and we saw so many interesting places. Duy provided so much information about the history of Vietnam and really kept everyone engaged in the conversation about the day. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to have a leisurely boat ride down the Mekong River, spend time at a bee farm, watch coconut candy making, see traditional singers and enjoy a fabulous lunch. Thank you Duy for making our day trip so enjoyable!

Excellent tour of the Mekong Delta
Extremely happy with this tour and our tour guide - Danny. He was very funny and kept us entertained especially being a small group of 8. Danny also grew up on one of the islands and he was very knowledgeable! I highly recommend for you to do this tour and it also includes a yummy (fish, prawns, & chicken) lunch. Great tour, great guide
We had a great day on 1 day Mekong Delta trip. Efficient and on time pick up from our hotel. Our guide, Lin, was really friendly and informative and gave us a lots of interesting information. The trip was filled with lots of activities and things to see including watching coconut candy be made. We had a small group of 8 of us and the transport was very clean and safe. All in all we had a great day and enjoyed our last day of our trip to Vietnam - would recommend the tour for anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh city!

Fantastic day at Mekong

Were greeted by a wonderful young man named Bao , already i could tell that he was warm and friendly. We took several boat rides all day and as i am 54 , needed assistance getting on and off boats , Bao our tour guide was more than happy to assist all 6 of us. Each part of our day trip was fully explained and Bao was extremely knowledgeable about the temple and the river and vietnam itself.I would totally recommend this handsome young man for any tour , there is only one problem - he is 27 and he has been dating his girl for 9 years and seriously it is time to get married bc they need to make handsome bao and uyen chlidren!!!Bless you forever and ever , Gina and George xxxxx

Amazing trip with equally amazing guide (Khoi)
We did the trip on a friday, starting with an early pick-up and a drive to the Mekong delta with a short toilet and coffee stop along the highway. The stop was an indication for the majority of the day. It was a beautiful rest and farmer stop where you forget about the business of the city and the highway sound is suppressed. For the trip itself, don't expect to spend a lot of time on the water. It is more a means of transportation between the activities (divided over two islands). Our guide Khoi was enthusiastic, shared personal stories, and tried to go off the beaten path to really show us the local life. The whole day,from booking until dropping off was a nice experience and well prepared. Special thanks to Khoi!

Our family of 5 enjoyed the tour and our guide Khoi was really friendly and attentive. He ensured that we avoid the crowds by changing the tour sequence so that we are able to have an enjoyable experience . All in all, an enjoyable day trip! :)

Awesome Tour

We took this tour with two small kids (3 & 1.5 y/o) and it was such an amazing experience for all of us! We were part of a small group that was easy to move around with and Lin's guidance was so fun and interesting. We experienced so many different means of transportation, saw some beautiful sights and ate really tasty local food. I loved the water was also included in the price, since it was really hot, plus everyone was soooo helpful with our little ones! I really recommend this tour for anyone that wants to see a nice overview of the Mekong Delta in one day. Thanks for everything!

Great taste of Mekong Delta

Wonderful group of 7 people enjoyed the bus trip out, the two types of boats on the Delta, the coconut candy factory (yummy, buy the five pack), and everything was as described. The best part was the lunch with plenty of food, lots of variety and catered for us as vegetarians. The very, very best part was David the tour guide who is funny but also very well informed and speaks lovely English. Top marks for this trip and I highly recommend.

Mekong Delta Tour - this tour ticks all the boxes!
Best tour we have been on in our 3 week travels around Vietnam! We had a great day on the Mekong Delta, experiencing all the sites with a lovely group of people on the bus from different parts of the world, as well as our driver and our guide.

Win, our tour guide was proactive and reached out to us before the tour was scheduled, to advise what time he would be picking us up and to confirm our booking details (including food intolerances). From the moment he arrived, he was professional, energetic, considered, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Win’s communication skills were very good and he advised clearly what the day was going to entail. It’s a long day and Win was passionate and enthusiastic to the end. I was travelling with two teenage children and felt safe on the bus at all times (big shout out to our driver too!)

Before booking the tour I read about various tours (and reviews) to the Mekong Dejta and was so glad I picked this tour with Asiana Link Travel. It had a variety of activities and things to do and see and was outside the ‘touristy areas’.

A couple of highlights on the tour for us was the bike ride through the village. Getting to see the locals and say ‘Xie Chau’ as we cycled by. A local village boy rode his bike past us and ‘high fived’ us along the way (really warmed the heart). We also enjoyed the cooking class (learning how to make Vietnamese Pancakes) with a beautiful Vietnamese lady and then got to make one for ourselves to enjoy with our lunch.

A great day all round and memories we will cherish. Thanks Win for your warm Vietnamese hospitality!
