I would really recommend splashing out on one of these. We stayed in the executive suite which was beautiful, a huge room with your own sun deck. It was very luxury and much more modern than a lot of the other boats in Halong Bay. The service aboard was immaculate and the attention to detail was impeccable! We would like to give a special thanks to our Butler Alice for her kind hospitality, she thought about everything. Let's start with the transfer to the boat, we had to travel an hour on a small boat, which is in a deplorable condition. More than 60 people in such a boat was not the most pleasant experience.
From the moment you arrive, you can't relax, they always have something to announce, you can't go to your room and have 30 minutes of relaxation after a 4-hour journey (3 hours from Hanoi and an hour by boat), you don't even have where to go to wash your hands, you all have to go to the restaurant, so that they have 30 minutes to announce the program and we can all eat.
Then you go to the room and again the announcements - that you have to go with the kayak if you want, if not, stay on the boat, only that the boat also remains anchored. And this continues. Everything is in a hurry, a lot in the program for 20 hours spent on the ship.
The surprise of the evening, there was no hot water, probably they missed this announcement:)
We only got hot water in the morning.
The staff doesn't really speak English, very poorly, with the exception of the guide, even if there were only tourists from outside the country on the boat In addition, even if they see you eating and your mouth is full, they come to ask you something….

I don't know when the room was the last time cleaned, if you drop something on the floor, especially in the bathroom, you see all the dust collected for years, so you even don't want to pick up that object from that dirty floor.
The recommendation is that if you find a private boat for a day, and manage to catch the sunset, then it's worth the money, you can relax and you don't have to do everything at a fixed time and if it's not "happy hour" you don't have anywhere to serve the coffee, which by the way is quite expensive for Vietnamese prices.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, could ask them anything and they would help immediately. Most of the staff spoke good English as well. The room and bathroom was decent, bed was extremely comfortable however there was minor wear in the room.
There were no drinks included at all, this included water and coffee/tea at the breakfast brunch.
Activities were good and the itinerary was clear and packed. However the biggest downfall was you did not even spend 24 hours on the boat so definitely should not be advertised as 2 day 1 night.

Many things were great. Particularly the scenery. Unforgettable. Staff were nice esp Flora and Duy.
Room was nice. Boat facilities in general were fine.
However, the food was very disappointing and this was the feeling of many people we spoke with. Certainly not fine dining. Thought the boat spent too long anchored. Would have liked more cruising.
Even basics like toast and tea and coffee prices problematic quite often. The transfers to and from Hanoi were great and the communication by Duy was very informative.

The ship itself is beautiful, the rooms (room 105) are luxurious but a bit worn. The balcony is very beautiful and unusual.
We had booked a 2-day tour with an overnight stay and were very disappointed. Ultimately, the actual trip through this magnificent landscape only took about 2 hours, after which we anchored and the ship stayed there overnight and also for the entire 2nd day. There were 2 excursions, the caves were average and crowded. You can definitely see more in the dry Halong Bay.
The food was below average and not sufficient. If the bowl at the buffet was empty, it was not refilled. Breakfast was OK. The service was OK too. The drink prices are extremely high and absolutely excessive.
The beautiful view from your own balcony was the best thing about this trip. But as I said, the trip was much too short and that was annoying. Halong Bay is a highlight on a trip to Vietnam and you feel like you are being ripped off with this provider. I would not book here again.

very bad. not worth the money. the company is very low quality, everything costs money even a drink of water with lunch. the staff doesn’t understand english except one guy if u find him. they mix up the food requests because they don’t understand. the portions are small, the meals are low quality. no entertainment, nothing to do in evening. the excursions are nice but very short and limited and even though it’s so hot and humid they don’t even offer cold water. no wifi, no tv. no hot water, no music, ac low quality. seriously not recommended.

I have heard and read so much about a cruise along Halong Bay. I can tell you it is not worth the money and effort. It is a beautiful place that is spoiled by diesel fuel, trash in the water and overuse. The boat we were on is part of the the La Regina, which I thought was one boat, but there are MANY by the same name. The service was bad, the rooms on the boat were poor, and the food was just so-so. I think this is what comes of too many people wanting to see the same thing. It was cheesy.

Of the 10 days in Vietnam, 1 night stay was in this cruise and it was by far the worst stay.
They are super costly, super arrogant, zero customer satisfaction, terrible food.
I had a room booked with extra bed and I paid about 100$ for extra bed and to my surprise, when onbaord there was no extra bed.
The food served was tasteless and we could hardly eat. They denied serving drinking water while dining.
This cruise sailed only for about 2 hours total and for rest it was on the hanger. Absolutely no fun.
I recommend opting other options.

The ship is relatively new one, and is well maintained. Had a lovely time on tbe cruise, the rooms are spacious and quite luxurious. The best part of tbe cruise is the hospitality of the crew. Our manager Mr Duy made sure we were very comfortable through our stay. Would also like to mention Mr Vuong, who was a lot of fu during our visit to tve trung Trang caves as well as during the cooking activity. He made sure that everyone had a good time.
I'd recommend tbe cruise to anyone looking for a Halong Bay tour. The activities could have been slightly longer, other than that it's 5 stars

We had a wonderful trip all thanks to the sweetest crew ever. Boo, one of the crew members, had the warmest smile and attended to us with utmost consideration and care. Although I came with my parents, the crew(Mr.William and Ms.Hao) made me feel like I was around my friends. I’m always going to hold on to the memories I’ve made on this trip. I hope to come back and meet them all again someday in the future. ❤️

Dont know where to start. We book the highest price for a trip to Halong bay. Definitely not worth the money. In short, stay away from them. Especially the return trip is terrible. Although they know our tour end at 11 am on sunday, they made us wait approx. 2 hours and still could not find a car (a minivan called limousine) to get us back to Hanoi.
On the ship, the program is not enough as there is not enough activity, olny swimming, kayaking and wooden boat trip to cave. In total it takes 1 hour, rest of the time there is nothing to do. You can only enjoy scenery.
The place they take to swim was dirty. also to use kayaks you need to wait in line! How is this a luxury experience?
The food was mediocre, not many choices, mostly local food and still not fresh.And they run out of food very fast and they do not refresh them.
