highly recommended
they preapred all our way and cruise to Halong Bay. Every thing was wonderful and with a fair and good price. They also booked for us our bus to Nimh binh, we changed several times our routes and we never had a problem. It is very highly recommended.

Well Recommended Tour
We had the pleasure of having this company guide us through the city of Hanoi. Mai took us to the Military History Museum where we had the opportunity to see a large collection weapons and the wreckage of an American B-52 bomber, an M107 self-propelled gun, and a military tank that had ploughed through the gates of Saigon’s Presidential Palace. We also visited the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, as well as botanical gardens. We also wanted to visit Hỏa Lò Prison and Mai had no problem arranging things around so we could. She was really knowledgeable and kept the young people in our group very attentive of the information she was was giving. The tour was very touching and we really enjoyed. Lunch was included and it was really good. I will definitely keep this company's information and I will have them be our guide again. Thank you for a memorable moments in Hanoi.

1st timers in Vietnam
We had a great walking food tour with Ben and Nang around the old town of Hanoi. They both had local knowledge regarding food and history. English is excellent, we got to see the 9pm train go through the street which was amazing. My husband left his Visa card in the taxi that Ben organised for us but managed to return the card to us early this morning. So his honesty was 100%. We would recommend this tour.

Mouthwatering food tour in Hanoi
This is one of the highlights of our tour in Hanoi. It was arranged by Mr Thang, he is very kind and patient with all of our requests. (he and his wife) They have arranged the the best tour guide for us, ALEX, he knew exactly everything in this place. It was amazing that you wont even notice it's a restaurant behind small alleys. The food and drinks were really good. This is a must try experience in Hanoi and book with Vitawell so you can ensure a smooth and fuss free food tour. Cheap and safe as well. They will all take good care of you! Thumbs up to a job well done!

Great Experience
We had a good time on our tour. We got to bike along the outskirt of Doung Lam ancient village. Kyle was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the city and it's culture. It was interesting to learn about the history of the temple and the ancient city. We did a lot of walking around the temple, the ancient city and the silk shops. The food was very good at the guest house, we enjoy our meal and tea. If you like a calm and peaceful adventure, this will be a good tour for you.

A very interesting experience away from the main tourist areas.
Mary led a small group tour for just three of us to Duong Lam Ancient Village. It certainly proved very different from the hustle and bustle of central Hanoi. After first stopping at a typical countryside town and viewing the temple, we reached the ancient village after just about one hour driving. This village demonstrated life in rural Vietnam and we all enjoyed a fabulous traditional meal cooked by a local lady and tried some locally made spirits. After viewing another temple on our return we paid a visit to the silk village and observed working machinery revealing how silk material is made. Overall I can fully recommend this tour as a different way to experience Vietnamese life. Mary is a truly excellent guide and her friendly enthusiasm and knowledge brought the trip to life !

An unforgettable experience.
We (A party of 3 family members) had to arrange this tour at the last hour. After spending the day by hop on hop off city tour, we decided that seeing Hanoi by night would be better served by an experienced guide. That's what we got from Tony Thanh, our friendly, gentle and trustworthy guide. Enjoyed the night walk and street eating.

The amazing cruise!
Me and my boyfriend have decided to take a cruise on Halong bay. We decided to turn to Vitawell Travel and we are very happy with the choise! Mary and her husband are very friendly and honest. They prepared a beautiful cruise for us and we had some wonderful time with our guide Thien. We can't complain about anything. We thank Mary, her husband and Thien very much; thanks to them we have a beautiful memory of Vietnam. G&G

Great Value
We had a fantastic tour and our guide was knowledgeable, well spoken and thoughtful. Kyle went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our day, helping with shopping tips and went above and beyond with his service. He made us feel very comfortable and we laughed a lot. Such a great day to end our stay in Vietnam. I hope you develop a shopping tour of Hanoi’s 36 streets. I highly recommend this company. On time, and delivered everything and more that was included in the package. Thank you so much we will remember this day for a long time.

Tam Dao -
75 km from Hanoi, is this quaint little hill station, Tam Dao! Pretty landscape and a vibrant atmosphere made it a worth while trip to make but the cherry on the cake is the road side food stalls...amazing food!! Heaps of marinated stuff which you choose from and is grilled for you and served fresh and warm. Mushroom or greens rolled in meat slices..squash leaves sautéd with garlic, eggs wrapped in aluminum foil and then roasted; sticky rice cooked in bamboo sticks to name a few local delicacies. The place to sit is like any basic road side stall but the view makes up for it. Especially as the evening progresses into night and the fog covers the area..looks so mystic! The service is rustic but ever so warm and welcoming!

Literally the WORST agency I’ve experienced!
When going into meeting the agency the family are polite and seem kind and speak English. But in my experience once you book, at your destination, you realise everything they told you was a lie! Was looking for a tour to Sapa. Firstly I was told a price, I went back to pay and apparently (I say apparently as I’m not sure wha to believe after my experience) the bus was full, so had to pay 5$ more. When arriving at the destination the receipt is insufficient and my guide is not there (was told would be waiting). The bus company kindly investigate for me. When I made the booking, I was told there was other people on the tour, it was only me. Was also told everything was included, so it was bit suprising when my homestay told me I needed to pay for the drinks at lunch - she was trying to get me to pay the food also. With the insufficient receipt of course nothing was noted. When you take a tour and told what is included you don’t this......the homestay which was organised was nice, the family was kind, and the trekking was good, nice views. When returning to the city, the bus I paid 5$ extra for, no one knows which bus I should be getting......even though apparently my guide would know. Same drama trying to find out, the bus left from the other side of town. I am then told by my homestay/ guide, as she paid the motorbike back to sapa, i now paid the lunch. I paid 51$ for the most disorganised tour. I felt completely lied too! And it’s left a complete bad taste in my mouth.

Great Experience
It was raining and we were thoughtfully provided with rain coats. The food was good and the company of the tour leader Thanh, who brought along two students, was delightful. Together we navigated the busy streets while learning more about this old historic city. The reason I give a rating of 4 is that the booking stated all drinks were included. We had two cokes and had to pay for ourselves. The only drink included was the coffee. But still a lovely experience.

Vitawell homestay
I stayed at Vitawell home stay for 4 nights and found the hosts very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and a good size with air con and private bathroom. I also booked some tours through them which seemed reasonably priced. It is in a central location, easy enough to find, within walking distance to most things. I would recommend the Farm Fresh Vegetarian restaurant nearby, (left and then left, I think) as well.
