- kyliescandolera0 contributionscheck where the trip takes you before you bookthe trip said that we would be taken to the big buddha, however the big buddha ( we found out yesterday) has been closed for some time due to a landslide. our guide alex talked a lot on a screechy microphone about - im not sure. when we went to the old town, he asked us to follow him and kind of went racing off. i was okay, but i have been on better toursWritten 30 September 2024
- Fearless034160499000 contributionsGood trip but use another companyVisit was interesting but I would use another company for this trip in the future. We had to travel to another hotel for pick up but worse we were left at this hotel on return at 8 o’clock at night and find our own way back to our hotel. Every other company we have used has always picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel.Written 29 September 2024

If one has seen and was captivated by the movies, "Bridge on the River Kwai" and "The Railway Man", one should take this moving day trip.Written 28 September 2024
- Aaron T0 contributionsFantastic day tourOur tour guide (Rach) was amazing. His knowledge and customer service made the tour such a memorable experience for our family. This tour is a early start and late finish making for a very long day but it is worth evey minute. The scenery is breathtaking and seeing where the WW2 POW camps were was a very moving experience.Written 27 September 2024

- keatonjt0 contributionsFantastic Day 🇹🇭Unforgettable trip from Rach (guide) and Nond (driver)! We ended up with a private tour for the three of us as no one else booked on. The various sites, museum, Kwai Bridge, Memorial, Lunch spot were very interesting and the tour was well put together. Highly recommended for history buffs. Loads of great info from Rach and it was great to see some of the Thai countryside.Written 18 September 2024
- 203leannev0 contributionsHighly recommend!Wonderful tour. Our guide and driver were excellent. Rach went over and above - not only giving a lot of information but also making sure we had water, were safe and got the very best out of the tour. Highly recommend!Written 15 September 2024

- Trail669158785990 contributionsMUST TRY!DONT MISS THIS TOUR! It was awesome for all of the parts of this tour. The guide (I asked her name, but I couldn’t remember because it’s so thai-name, sorry for her…) has been keeping comfy distance with fully guidance of the history of temples and some personal time for only ourselves. The driver was super kind as well. Also ayutthaya was pretty impressive place with sense of war which was painful but important.Written 9 September 2024
- ashleylH7482JP0 contributionsCultural performance appreciation ❤️I loved the experience! I did lanna style and really loved being up close to the stage. Dancer and musicians did amazing. Live Music during dinner and then the show after. I will say I can’t eat a lot in one sitting so the amount of food they gave me was too much but there’s definitely nothing wrong with having to much food. I felt bad because i felt like i didn’t even eat anything when they took it away. They are really good a refilling your food, especially if you liked something more than the others. There was a family of 5 near me and they got two tables and people refilled there table when they wanted it. They were quick on service. They did have cocktails for anyone non-alcoholic. I used to be a cultural reformer myself so i really appreciated the performance at another level. I recommend it, it was a fun dinner and show thing to do. Even as a solo diner it was a fun and exciting for me and i got to go up and dance with them at the end. Please check it out if you are looking for culture dance experience.Written 8 September 2024

He made sure we were safe and answered any questions. Also, kind person as you could walking around he was talking to all the locals. Booked the James Bond Island tour online with BJ Canoeing.
Pick up 7.15am bang on time! Reached Ao Por pier at 8.40 & embarked on speedboat at 9.35. Lots of tours go from here so there's lots of organising and coloured wristbands. Free tea/coffee and biscuits while you wait.
Mac our tour leader spoke English.
Minibus left port at 16.15 to head back to Kata beach.
The tour was excellent from start to finish - really enjoyed the hidden lagoon, canoeing, lunch at a floating village restaurant and of course looking for Scaramanga!

I’ve wanted to visit where “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed for many years and this did not disappoint. The island is actually well managed considering how iconic it is (it’s everywhere on the Internet when you look up Thailand island tours, even after 45+ years and the deaths of the 2 principal stars). The sea canoeing was effectively a taxi service around the islands nearby (not the actual JB island itself) and the swimming after the JB island was a nice relaxing end to the day on a white sandy beach with clear sea.

This is a must do when in Phukett. The crew very good one crew member Bas will never be forgotten. The kayaks going through the caves was very memorable they open up into lush lagoons never had a better time on a tour. On the boat the buffet was excellent. Highly recommend this if you come to Phukett.

Amazing day ! Completely different experience from phi phi islands tour. Stunning scenery and crystal clear green waters. Was worried about doing the canoeing but guides rowed for us. A must if you are in Phuket
Only criticism is that eating the meal with the tour took away business from local restaurants and found local stall holders further in the island were empty which was sad to see.

We waited in our lobby for 30+ mins for the hotel pick up. Got rushed into a van immediately after the brought us from the hotel. Had a 2 hour drive to the temple. They gave us 15 mins there??? I used half the time in the restroom and wasn’t even able to enjoy any of the experience. They threatened to leave us there if we were late back to the bus. That is insane to me. I understand you have a lot of people doing this however you made our experience horrible. I wish I never gave any money to this company. I don’t think we even had a guide. They just said here’s your timeline be back or be left. Not to mention it is not a traditional long tail boat as you have in the main picture. Such a waste of time and money and extreme disappointment.

Truly fantastic tour! We thoroughly enjoyed James Bond Island (arrived early morning, low season, no crowds!), but the highlight of the trip was the breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful canoe trip through the mangroves. Stunning! The cave walk through to a hidden lagoon was a trip back millions of years in time: again, simply amazing!
One of the best excursions we have ever made. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really nice trip with an informative guide and driver. We will definitely recommend this to everyone we know. The lunch was bountiful, fresh, and tasty. We have a 7 year old and all staff on the boat excursion went out of their way for her and other small children.

We were so excited for this excursion!! Due to our limited time in Phuket we decided on it over others. After our pickup time being moved over an hour later, waiting for 30+ minutes at another hotel for a pair of people.. we were off... on a 2 hour car ride!!! Our first stop was a monkey, cave, temple combo. Waste of time, besides it being out near the bay it’s the only reason I think we stopped. Then we got to the Bay area, we were literally just pointed to a pile of life jackets and that’s it. When we booked we expected “a max of 15 travelers” on our boat. This is as stated in the additional info on our booking. We had over 30!!! Our “tour guide” didn’t explain anything and only offered to take 1 picture of us, other than that she was just there to heard the crowd. Lunch at Muslim island was eh. Not exciting other than you are eating on a floating restaurant. The ONLY thing that made this day bearable was Sun. He was our canoeing guide through the caves. He took our pictures at great areas and made sure to tell us everything about the area!! Otherwise this was a waste of money and our valuable time that we have here in Phuket.

A to do once on your list. Good to see the islands. Not very long at the ‘James Bond island’ when you get there, 40mins max. We was told that if we missed the time for our boat there would be a boat taxi back home to the harbour at 500 baht each, which then turned it into ‘clock watching’. Overcrowded. A constant flow of boats coming and going. It’s an experience that should be fun but for me it felt it was all on a timer and hurried along. Canoeing about 20-25mins. Swimming 20-25mins. Not something I would do again.
