- Sandy A0 contributionsA visit to the mountains and moreWe had a wonderful trip to the royal park with a local guide. We visited a local village for coffee and another for shopping locally made goods. It was great to meet and speak with the local peoole. We also visited 2 beautiful waterfalls. It was a fun day.Written 7 February 2025
- F6934YTdonc0 contributionspleasant overview of Old Chiang MaiA pleasant and easy way to get acquainted with the Old City of Chiang Mai.. Be advised this is, in no way, a guided tour.. The tuk tuk looked nothing like the one in the photo..Written 7 February 2025
- 869zanderb0 contributionsUnbelievable experience at a great priceThis is definitely worth doing, yes it’s a long day but you will go everywhere! The spa and village break up the journey and the white and blue temples are fabulous, forget the images you may have seen, they need to be experienced. Our guide was very good, friendly, helpful with plenty of info, but if like me you prefer exploring on your own, he was not overly clingy so you get your own space. Highly recommended.Written 6 February 2025
- pspolly30 contributions5 star enjoyable day tripThe tour was enjoyable. So convenient with door to door pick up. The tour itinerary was very good with lots to see, our tour guide Alex was amazing and enriched this tour experience. Very good.Written 6 February 2025
- KristiS4390 contributionsGreat time with a great guideWe had a great time with the tuk tuk tour. We had a group of 8 so we rented 4. We also hired an English speaking guide which was a must do to understand the beauty and history of chiang maiWritten 6 February 2025
- nicolabove0 contributionsNice experience but a bit overrated compared to the excitement of the Instagrammers promoting this venueI saw the video of this location on Instagram and made me want to go there. I rented a motorbike and drove about an hour just to do the jungle coaster two times in a row. It was fun but less exciting than the rides you have in Western theme parks. Nevertheless it can be more fun when spending more money and also take the ziplining etc...Written 6 February 2025
- U5307VGjamesr0 contributionsGood experience but personal commentsOverall a good experience, beautiful views and average price including health insurance and transfer from hotel. Main criticism would be the instructors approach to customer, very friendly but perhaps a little too personal. Me and my friend are larger and therefore had a few comments about our size which I understand slightly due to cultural differences but when paying a high rate for a great experience it does take away from the experience as a whole. Generally they were very friendly and the comments weren’t too offensive but things such as ‘big buddha’ are hard to shake off during the activity.Written 5 February 2025
- Intrepidmbd0 contributionsGood half day tour with WatVery good experience. Our driver Wat allowed us to choose and dictate the speed of the tour. He was an experienced driver and also very pleasant.Written 4 February 2025
- Connector043100660780 contributionsNice tour but too many people in group. We were expecting there to be no more than 12 people to a guide on this tour but ended up in a group of 22 in 2 minivans. However, our guide Matthew was very good and kept us all informed. Lunch was a bit hit and miss as hot food had been left out on our table when we arrived and was barely warm which was disappointing. Good variety of things to see.Written 3 February 2025
- dennissZ2331YU0 contributionsGreat experienceMy first time on a zipline and it was an excellent choice as there were so many. The only downside is we were delayed at the start by about 30-45 minutes due to a lack of available staff. If not for that I would have rated it 5 stars. The provided lunch was good although a limited selection. It was cold on the mountain so make sure you bring some warm clothes which we did not do and there was nothing available to purchase or rent.Written 3 February 2025
- Buddman690 contributionsExactly what we wantedJust what we wanted. A driver who listened to what we wanted and drove us there and gave us the time we needed to explore. A must do!Written 3 February 2025
- A2648RUchrisg0 contributionsGreat people poor guide!Met some wonderful people on this tour but it was badly let down by the guide whose English (this was sold as including an English speaking guide) was very poor. Everyone in our group was disappointed with her quality of English and she appeared very rude to guests at times but we all put this down to her lack of English !! Had it not been for our fellow guests the tour would have been a complete disaster!Written 2 February 2025
- janetmayo0 contributionsBe warned and save your moneyBe warned and save your money. Should have researched more on this before handing over money and going. 9 hours in a van to travel up to Chiang Rai. You learn nothing that isn’t in the briefing on Wikipedia. Poor English by Fern. So the day First stop- side of road purpose built market selling souvenirs - not authentic village of longnecks- just an opportunity to sell. Then onto hot springs- which is in a service station- again selling wares Then first the white and then Blue temples- both new and not authentic- no history no reason for- just another money maker from tourists. Then the black house complex- again strange place- no history no explanations but plenty of stalls selling. Then the end stop-the golden triangle- dirty stretch of river- you go up and down in a boat and back. Then joy of joy 4 half hour trip back. Food passable-avoid you see no authentic sights and nothing of Chiang Rai history, culture, landscapeWritten 31 January 2025

My family and I would have preferred to spend more time at the Hmong Village (we only had 30 minutes). Doi Suthep was beautiful. There was another temple/place that we visited first before going to the Hmong Village then Doi Suthep; and in my opinion was not a necessary stop as I felt it took away much preferred time from the Hmong Village that has more to offer.
