About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 993naomie0 contributionsGreat time, but consider your physical limitations on the hikeI had a really enjoyable time. Our guide Sandy was excellent, entertaining and informative. We went to the elephant sanctuary first, followed by Doi Inthanon (pagodas, trek, and coffee tasting). It's worth mentioning that the trek is just over 3 miles/5 kilometers. I think that there was a miscommunication due to the conversion and we were told that the hike was 3 kilometers (1.5 miles). I love hiking, so this wasn't an issue for me, but some members of our group who were not accustomed to hiking were a bit surprised. The hike is moderate with some stairs going up and steep, uneven declines. There are complimentary walking sticks for people at the beginning. When we got to the village, I was glad that no one was pushing us to buy stuff. Everyone was really friendly. I'd highly recommend taking Dramamine or something similar before the trip, as this excursion involves a combined 3+ hours of driving, most of it up winding mountain roads. With all of that in mind, I'd highly recommend it to someone who has the time for a multi-stop, full day excursion and is able-bodied enough for a moderate hike. Also, the elephant sanctuary does not allow riding, which I appreciated because it is more humane.Written 8 February 2025
- kelseyhC6324SE0 contributionsGreat overall tour would recommend!Great overall tour. Started the morning with bamboo rafting which was so peaceful and passed lots of elephants in the river! The hike to the waterfall was short, was able to jump into and swim in waterfall. Walked to the elephant sanctuary where we had a good lunch! The elephants by far were the best part so great to be able to feed, walk and bath the elephants and be so close! Te was a great guide with lots of knowledge!! Limbo was another guide who took really great photos for memories!Written 4 February 2025
- 43nancye0 contributionsWinding road…It is a long day, the van was a half hour late, the guide Jaun (young woman) was very good she went above and beyond to help a fellow passenger with her problems. The drive (2 hrs) into the mountains is very winding. The suspension in the van was shot so the people in the back were almost hitting their heads on the roof. The lunch was good. The elephants were great and the hike was awesome.Written 3 February 2025

- larisao2820 contributionsGreat day full of animals and natureHighlight of the day was definitely the elephants! Such an awesome elephant sanctuary that clearly cares so much for these animals. We got lots of time interacting with them. Lunch was good, vegetarian pad Thai and fruits with beer and soda for purchase. The national park was nice as well, the twin pagodas are very beautiful on a clear day like we had. The hike has a gorgeous waterfall and ends with a cute stop in a coffee village where you can purchase local handmade goods and coffee. Lots of driving, more than expected on the way there, but the ride home is a little shorter. Ladies - bring pants for the pagodas.Written 2 February 2025
- Jérémie D0 contributionsRecommend it !Really nice tour, I recommend it if you want to go see elephant and do a nice hike. Overall the elephants seems happy to be there, but you never know what is happening behind the scenes in these places. They were doing tricks (if they wanted), a little bit like a dog would. We want to a little river with them, 3 hop on but the two others didn’t want to go and they were not forced by the staff so that’s niceWritten 2 February 2025
- richardrO1446TF0 contributionsGreat day tripGreat day trip, highly recommend! Beautiful part of northern Thailand. Enjoy scenic drive , rafting, waterfalls and then highlights spend good hour or two with elephants!!Written 1 February 2025
- benrZ439VI0 contributionsElephant Sancturay to the top of ThailandThis is a must-do trip if you have limited time in Chiang Mai. Our guide, Wan, was a total gem; bublingly enthusiastic and went out of her way to get to know everyone in the group. I came away with a much better understanding of the region, local history and its people. Highly recommend.Written 30 January 2025
- dglancaster0 contributionsDon't Miss OutIncredible is the only word to describe the day. It was a long drive to Living Green Elephant Sanctuary, but so worth it. The water fall hike was also great - wonderful view. John, our guide, and our driver, were instrumental in making this a totally unforgettable day.Written 26 January 2025
- simonpeterc20250 contributionsDay Tour Ang Thong National Marine Park Speedboat from Koh SamuiThe whole experience was great from check in, to the tour guides and all the stops we had. Once the check in formalities were completed we were greeted with complimentary Tea and Coffee or Orange juice as well as Toast and a local savoury to try. The tour guides were very relatable, with jokes, clear instructions on time limits at each stop as well as sharing their culture and background if asked. For the Second stop if you are fit enough you could do both Kayaking and the hike. We kayaked for 30 mins, then started the hike and made it to the 300m lookout. The included lunch was very delicious and fulfilling. It is also recommended that you do the emerald lake walk and go down to the lower viewing platform to see the fish in the clear water. It was such an amazing tour and would highly recommend.Written 26 January 2025

This is the start of the busy tourist season and we have heard from several people that the area is extremely short on English-speaking tour guides; our guide Choo did an amazing job handling two buses of tourists, and made sure that the pace of our hike was doable for everyone in the group. He kept track of all of us amidst the chaos while also taking photos, which again with our big numbers was really impressive!
Heads up: a fairly big part of this tour is based around the scenic view as you walk through the national park -- be aware that there's like a 50/50 chance that your view will be obscured because of fog, especially if you go in the morning. We knew this, so we weren't surprised! It's not the fault of the tour, just the fault of Mother Nature. :)
The second half of the tour was a little less interesting to us, because it involved less nature and more... places to spend additional money (especially the fruit market); however, plenty of people in our group enjoyed it, and if you only had a short time in Chiang Mai it would be an opportunity to try some local foods.
Overall, a solid tour through an extremely popular, heavily-traveled tourist spot.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the driver and tour guide. Not only were they polite and courteous, but they arrived on time which made me feel reassured that the entire trip was going smoothly. The tour guide's detailed and interesting explanations gave me a deeper understanding of the history and culture of each attraction.
The itinerary was arranged very considerately and thoughtfully, and the time for each attraction was controlled very accurately. This arrangement made me feel that I had enough time without being rushed, and could fully appreciate the beautiful scenery and unique features of each scenic spot. In Chiang Mai National Park, my favorite part is the hiking part, because compared to other attractions, it allows me to get closer to nature and have a better understanding of the magic of nature.
The scenery along the national park is truly stunning. Whether it is the quiet mountain forest or the diverse vegetation, every step makes me immersed in the embrace of nature and feel its charm and power.

Parts of this day were very average, though the trek was quite good. The hour and a half drive to Doi Inthanon is quite a long time to spend in a cramped little mini van. Our tour guide, Maxi, was a nice bloke and chatty - can’t fault him, he did well for engaging the group. When we got to Doi Inthanon, it was absolutely pouring with rain, which you have to walk through to get to a place that sells ponchos - that’s partly our fault, we should have thought to bring a rain jacket. You can’t see anything from the “roof of Thailand” because it’s so foggy. We then went to the twin pagodas, which we also could not see because it was 99% humidity and you could barely see a few metres in front of you. The hike was by far the nicest part of the day - the weather cleared up, and we went for an easy, mostly downhill walk past waterfalls and rice paddies to a local Karen village, where they roast their own coffee beans. All up, not a bad day at all but certainly wish there had been clearer expectations about not actually being able to see half the sights listed due to the poor visibility, which the guide said was very common for wet season. I don’t think I would have paid $120 for a nice hike by itself, but I’m sure this is a great experience during dry season.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the parts of the day that fell short of your expectations. We're glad to hear that the trek itself was quite good and that Maxi, your tour guide, did a commendable job in engaging the group. We appreciate your kind words about the tour guide.
Additionally, we're sorry to hear that the weather conditions, including rain and fog, significantly impacted your visibility. However, flowers, and the trekking route are more beautiful during the rainy season. Anyway, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We appreciate your understanding that poor visibility due to weather conditions is common during the wet season. However, we acknowledge that clearer expectations should have been provided regarding the limited visibility of certain sights. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will take it into account to improve our communication with future travelers.
We're pleased to know that the hike was the nicest part of the day for you, especially once the weather cleared up. The picturesque walk past waterfalls, rice paddies, and the visit to the local Karen village sound delightful. We're glad you enjoyed these aspects of the tour.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the weather. Your feedback will help us enhance the overall experience we offer. We hope that, in the future, you will consider joining us again during the dry season when the tour is known to provide a great experience.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we appreciate your understanding.

I booked this trip after hesitating between two other options and no regrets. The itinerary is jam packed with the best use of your time. If you have done similar day trips in other parts of the world this will be the best one.
There is guide and separate driver. Guide gives you some basic and background information, which was a nice addition. There are some spots where I wish we had more time but this is simply a compromise if we plan to visit all the spots.
Hike is not hard, but there are some climbs, all paved/stairs, ample breaks. Sport shoes are recommended, sandals would be too dangerous.
Lunch good and ready when we arrived.
Additional stops not mentioned in the itinerary: pit stop after collecting all the participants for toilet and coffee; local market before Karen Village.

All in all it was disappointing on two fronts - (a) the guide and (b) the trek. In fairness the guide set out the itinerary in detail so we knew what to expect. Only problem was that his English was very limited, with narration dotted with long pauses and the group helping him out with words he struggled with. Ruined the experience entirely because the guide is supposed to make the whole experience memorable. We were picked up from the hotel in a dilapidated van. There then followed an hours drive to a services station to stock up on refreshments. First stop were the Wachirithan waterfalls which were impressive. Brings me to my second point. We opted for the 2 hour Kew Mae hike. Unfortunately a there was extensive cloud cover throughout the day which denied us the panoramic views. As this was meant to be the highlight of the day the group were hugely disappointed. It’s wishful thinking on my part but is it too much to expect the tour operator to contact group members in advance to warn them of inclement weather and the opportunity to rebook? Perhaps it is but it wrecked the experience. Now weather is beyond the control of the operator but quality of guide and van are and both were a let down.

The entire tour felt very rushed and disorganised. Our guide did not speak very good English and was very difficult to understand. Our guide also did not provide any information about the places we were visiting. The hike was at a very fast pace which some of the group could not keep up with and one person got lost and had to find their own way back. The scenery up the mountain was very impressive, however overall the trip was a disappointment.

As a solo traveler who prefers exploring on my own, I usually don't expect much from guided tours and find them all not worth the money. Having that in mind and the fact that this trek is kind of hard or impossible to organize by yourself (??) - I think this tour was just alright.
The views were nice, even with the fog, the forest was refreshing and stunning. The food was good, and the guide was friendly.
All things people mentioned in the reviews hold true, but overall, I'd recommend it if you can't decide what to choose.
Temperature at the top was around 10°, so maybe bring some warm clothing, but even if you don't, it's summer cold, not winter cold. :)

I felt the trip was centred around the tourist being given as many opportunities to spend money rather than enjoying the wonderful scenery. We had coffee tasting trips and markets and an extended lunch. This made the actual site seeing part of the trip rushed and not as enjoyable as it would have been at a more leisurely pace. The hill people and the village it is set in was not interesting and artificial. We passed signs for multiple sight seeing locations but these were ignored The tour guide was very amenable and, within the timescale left, tried to give you a good trip. Shame we wasted those hours seeing stuff I was not interested in

We had a wonderful time on this trip and everything was perfectly organized.
They picked us up at your place in Chiang Mai and drove us to the waterfalls and then to the highest peak in Doi Inthanon.
After that, we had a 2-hour trek on a stunning nature trail, amazing! We went to see the giant king and queen pagodas and then for Thai lunch: a lot of food and delicious too!
Finally a quick stop at the local market and at a Karen village where we had coffee and tea tasting, and you could buy gifts too.
The guide was very knowledgeable, explained lots of interesting things and spoke good English.
The only thing is that the van was a bit tight and not super comfortable, but other than that everything was really amazing!
I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to escape the city and be in touch with nature in this beautiful natural park!

Click to Go seems to be a tour aggregator as we were pick up by Wendy Tours. Early pickup at 7.30am with 1 rest stop midway. Tour guide was friendly and I think itinerary is quite comprehensive with sightseeing of key spots and a great hike on the Kew Mae Pan Haven Trail. Cons were average food quality for lunch & we had a long wait at the supposedly local village visit cos had to wait for 2 persons who departed midway to do trekking at another trail. Overall still a recommended tour.

What time and where is the pick up.Please note that I have checked several other websites for similar tours and all, every one of made it very clear where the starting point was and the time of the pickup. I suggest if you want to be successful at your business that you include that information and place the information where it is readily available. The map of the two pickup points does no good at all. There are two dots on the map but not address or sign of where the pickup points are. I will give you my business if I can the answers soon., But I am not willing to wait much longer.
