We took a gamble booking this since there were no reviews, and I so glad we did. This was the highlight of our two week trip! Our guide, A, was phenomenal. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He even gave us some wonderful recommendations for local restaurants (The House by Ginger was our favorite restaurant). The day was packed with enriching experiences, great food, and gorgeous views. It might sound overstated, but it truly was a life changing experience!

I planned my first trip to Chiang Mai and wanted a unique experience and the possibility to do some photography with a local guide. Seeing the advert from Lanna to visit Doi Suthep, Wat Umong, Bai Orchid-Butterfly Farm and Bua Tong "Sticky" Waterfall I thought this is perfect as it will give me a taste of the area. Lanna was very friendly from the start and she was fun to be with for the day. She was very patient when I wanted to stop and take some photos and was flexible with the timing of leaving one place and going to the next. She had so much knowledge about the places we visited and she willing answered any questions. She made the whole day interesting and did not just repeat facts but provided explanations that kept your attention. One point we discussed was future trips and the possibility of going somewhere off the beaten track to avoid the crowds including waterfalls and overnight stays in Doi Inthanon. Lanna made the whole day a lot of fun and it was a pleasure to have her as my guide and I cannot recommend her enough. I am looking forward to my return trips to Chiang Mai and adventure to Doi Inthanon.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the all-day tour of Chiang Mai that Lanna had planned for us. We had told her a few specific places that we definitely wanted to visit, the length of the tour (8 hours in our case), and the time of the day that wanted to start. She came up with a detailed itinerary, arranged for a minivan and an excellent driver, agreed to a fixed price ahead of time, picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel after we were done, took care of all the logistics (tickets, entrance fees, lunch, water, etc.), provided excellent informational commentary throughout, answered all of our questions, etc., etc., etc... She speaks very good English and responds to inquiries very quickly. It can’t get any better than that. We highly recommend her.

Very kind and knowledgeable, my wife and I had a blast. From eating new things, to petting the tigers and shopping at the market we couldn’t not asked for a better experience. And let’s not forget her Good English :)

We had a blast on Lanna’s food tour!! She convinced us to eat some pretty crazy snacks but also introduced us to traditional Thai dishes! It was like hanging out with a friend all evening—- she is so sweet, energetic, and knowledgeable about Thai culture/religion. Definitely recommend!!

I can’t put into words the value of having Lanna as our private guide in Northern Thailand. At first we were hesitant due to the additional expense since we were traveling with two teens for 3 weeks in country. Our time in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai were the best 6 days of the trip largely due to Lanna’s customized itinerary. We saved so much time and expense by working with a knowledgeable guide who maximized each day giving us an adventure of a lifetime. We also had a private bus/driver so we were never rushed (especially when the kids wanted to stay longer to swim at waterfalls) and stopped when we were hungry and even squeezed in and extra stop at a market when wanting to shop. I would have NEVER been able to get it all in if not for Lanna. She also introduced us to new foods, off the beaten path hikes and cultural interactions we would not have been able to do because of our lack of the language. We highly recommend Lanna to anyone visiting Thailand, it will elevate your experience and quite frankly I think she saved us $ on food and travel as well. Our inerary included: Several beautiful Temples, Tiger interaction, private Elephant Sanctuary with local family, Sticky Waterfall Hike, white Temple and Golden Triangle, Monkey Temple, several night markets, large beautiful waterfall at highest point in Thailand, floating market, Long neck Karen Tribe visit and so much more!

Lanna is a great and highly informative tour guide! She not only did she make our tour highly informative but she made it very relaxing! It was like traveling with a member of my family! She will bend over backward to make your experience enjoyable and totally worry free! My wife injured herself in our hotel and she had to be hospitalized. When she heard of our situation, she took over! She arranged for admission to the best hospital in Chiang Mai. Lanna visited my wife and I on a regular basis and on her own time! Upon discharge from the hospital, Lanna informed us at the hospital bill has been paid! To our utter amazement, she informed us that her company enrolled us in travel insurance and covered the cost of her hospitalization! My wife and I have traveled extensively. Never have I had a more caring and compassionate tour guide such as Lanna! She has our highest recommendation!!

Lanna guided me on a wonderful tour of the entirety of northern Thailand. Without question, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had to date. I felt as if I were a native and took away lifelong memories. I highly recommend Lanna.

Lanna was our private guide for our trip in Chiang Mai. I was thrilled with how knowledgeable she was about the temple. The view was majestic and there was gold. Gold everywhere! The city tour was great too. The street food was amazing. It was so helpful to have a native speaker to help us interact with the locals.
