Arrange your morning pickup anywhere in Chiang Mai before heading to a market in the city of Mae Wang, approximately 1 hour outside of town. From here, climb aboard your bike and strap on your included helmet to spend the next 2 hours pedaling past historic temples, rice paddy fields, waterfalls and Thai fruit farms.
After finishing your cycling trip, stop for lunch at a local Thai restaurant. Once you’re fueled up, continue the hiking portion of your tour, driving first to the trek’s start point in the nearby mountains. Walk through the verdant rainforest to reach a nearby waterfall, where you’ll have the chance to cool off and relax amid this beautiful outdoor site.
Continue your trek by proceeding to a village of Karen, one of a number of hill tribes that calls the area home. Explore traditional life in this hill tribe community before exploring the town’s rice paddies. Depending on the time of year, you might even get to help out with planting and harvesting rice.
At the end of the privately guided day trip, your driver will drop you off at your preferred point in Chiang Mai.
