Fantastic and highly informative half-day tour
Our tour guide and driver, Sara and Mr. Tchin, did a fantastic job giving us a very well informed, instructive and highly accomodating tour. Starting from the time she introduced herself from our hotel, throughout the journey to the Maeklong Station, and finally at the floating market. In-between each stop, Sara was kind and happy to answer any questions we had. If we needed any additional help, she always tried her best to provide assistance. This was a fantastic tour from beginning to end! Thank you Sara and Mr. Tchin

      An excellent adventure
This was an excellent little adventure. A friendly tour guide, the train ride was a lovely touch to go through the railway markets, then the floating markets were wonderful. Some reviewers said the shop keepers were pushy and 'forced' you to buy things, but we didn't find that at all.

Guide MK she was really pleasant and explained everything we needed and even more. Unfortunately there is barely enough time to see both markets.

Incredible places that we enjoyed a lot thanks to the fact that everything was planned for us to achieve it. 😭
Everything was excellently organized. Very on time, good bus. Tim our guide, super responsible, and trained, made sure everything went perfect!! He had the minutes under control to be able to see the train leaving, when to buy juices, he organized to order the food to make the most of the time and the places to stop to see better!!

      Unexpected Encounter
Departing train delayed. Destination Train station too crowded n messy, no time to work around given 30mins, we lost the tour guide while alighting ends up spending time finding way back the train station and starts departing to next destination. river market is just a shopping in the river

      A must when visiting Bangkok
We really enjoyed ourselves. It was a lot of travel to get there and back but so worth it. I didn’t think they specified very clearly that to get there you get a mini bus and the local train there which was very hot and sticky. The train journey is an hour long so I found it quite uncomfortable as I didn’t have a breeze from the open windows. We only had about 30 minutes at the railway market so it was enough time to get a drink and walk the length of it but that was it. You get plenty of time at the floating market including a boat trip and then 45 minutes after to walk around and grab lunch from the various food stands. The day was 9am -3:30pm so don’t plan anything to do in the afternoon as you’ll end up missing it. We would definitely recommend and our tour guides Tom and Chai were great.

      Great experience!
Early start but well worth it to see the ‘train market’ - completely bonkers and fascinating. The floating market was also very interesting and our guide, Monee, could not have been more helpful or informative.

      Nice experience
A nice unique tour that I would recommend. Its about 2 hours drive from Bangkok so by time you return its about 3-3:30 pm depending on traffic. The train market was cool and one of those unique things you see as well as the boat tour was nice. I do recommend it ..

      Incredible trip and friendly guide
This trip was great and funny on so many levels. First of all, the sun was OUT out which was annoying but my tour guide Ton lent me his hat because I misplaced mine. The ride to Pattaya was smooth. The boat ride to Kohlan Island was also great. Ton took amazing care of me even when I had a menstrual mishap and he never complained once as we had to rush to the 7-11 to get sanitary pads. He was easily the best tour guide I’ve had on this trip and in history. We even explored the cliffside of the island before returning to Bangkok. I would pick Ton as a guide every time I tour Bangkok.

      Thailand.... BIG NO THANK YOU
I just came from Thailand after 4 months we went there with the idea to move there and after 4 months is a BIG REAL NO Thank you If you are a normal middle-class people in North America, you will NEVER move to Thailand for me even vacations for free after 4 months I WILL SAY NO... it is ONLY REAL very good ONLY for BACKPACKS eat for $2 to $5 but if you want drink an Express in Bangkok prepper to pay the same price you pay in North America $3.30 =130Bath If you cook at home and you need to buy Olive oil 1L cost you $22.50 =600 Bat, if you go to western kind of food like a Lazanha in a restaurant you will pay $28, if you buy ANYTHING imported because you are use to it at your country you will pay the big price and I don’t talk about NOTHING luxury normal things to eat, you want buy local food is less expensive like clothes but they are really VERY BAD Street food is constant DANGER to eat special sea food it is so HOT and the food e exposed to this eat all day…. Good luck POLLUTION at the top of this World, Garbage in every corner VERY POOR people Drugs everywhere, prostitution OMG and this people here ONLY talk about beautiful things and beaches Example Ao Nang the 2 km beaches are surrounded by 3 OPEN SWERS like rivers ALL GO to the beaches, boats everywhere I saw so many westerners there swimming but I never saw one Thai person…It is the ONLY country I know people go to the beaches “fighting” for a shadow because it is REAL TO HOT you can’t stay on the Sun Also be VERY CAREFULLY for the STARS at the Hotels in Thailand they are normally FAKE only the hotels with REAL brand names you know Traffic be VERY CAREFULLY also when you walk in Thailand, they DON’T respect anybody on the CROSSWALK VERY DANGEROUS The visas… What a SCAM it is, starting with me at Ottawa embassy they charge me Cad $56, for each me and my wife they NEVER delivery and they refused to refund me when you have a CROCKED king, don’t thinking the embassy be better... CONCLUSION: EXTREMELY GOOD FOR BACKPACK PEOPLE VERY GOOD AND DISGUSTING FOR OLD PEOPLE LOOK FOR YONG GIRLS EXTREMELY BAD FOR NORMAL PEOPLE WITH A MEDIUM TO HIGH STANDARDS

      Good tour
Great time with Tum Tum as a wonderful guide. She made sure we were taken care of and the food was great. I wish the tour had ended back at River City for easy transfer to the train lines but it was a good walk.

      Worth booking for the experience
Really enjoyed our visit to both markets. Tim, our guide, was funny, friendly and organised. He had a back up plan for when the traffic was bad to ensure we didn't miss out. Both markets are an experience worth visiting. Due to the nature of Bangkok traffic, the distance to the markets and to make sure it isn't a 12 hour tour, you don't get a lot of time in each market. We probably had 20 minutes at the train market, although perfectly timed to see the train go through. Floating market we had longer but still a little rushed. Completely understand why though. Its the perfect tour to visit these unique sites, just don't use it as your only chance to buy souvenirs! Overall definitely worth booking if you want a really straightforward and comfortable way to travel to these great locations

A great value for the price - got to see the rail market, floating market, a coconut refinery, and Ayutthaya. The tour guide even picked us up late as our taxi got stuck in traffic. Lunch was included, along with lots of tasty snacks and history/culture facts from our guide Bobo!

One thing to note - girls will need to bring a covering for their shoulders/legs for entrance to Ayutthaya.

The guide Boeing was excellent, nice, funny and very knowledgeable. The 3 areas to visit: train market, floating market and Ayuttaya were extremely interesting and definitely worth a visit. The group was small as announced. The driver was very kind and bought local products for our testing. However the organisation was a nightmare: pick up time was at 6am, after some exchange we understood 45 min later that they drove without us because our street was closed due to a race. Nobody contacted us. They did not apologise at all. We had to cancel another tour to be able to join this one on the following day. For not taking care of their customers we are not recommending this company.

Do not waste your time! There is nothing left at Ayutthaya! The floating market is just a 30 meter boat ride on a very dirty water for tourist to buy souvenirs. The coconut farm is a stop by the highway but I saw how they boil coconut flower extract to make sugar which is delicious and I purchased some. The ‘lunch’ was not Thai food! The restaurant gave me a cup of stir fried vegetables and said “there is no sauce in Thai cuisine! Excuse me? They literally saved a penny by skipping black bean sauce that I asked for! If I knew this, I would have gone to a “restaurant” because the day started at 5am and the lunch break was at 1:30pm! We were starving! The standards at the train market was really bad to eat at any place and this family restaurant was the first available food source! I wish I read the comments before I took this excursion!

A fun and informative tour! Mr William was great at explaining some of Thailand's history, and was very helpful with everything. Our driver, Mr. Chatchai also drove very safely and efficiently. I was also grateful for the bottles of cold water provided - it helped with the very hot weather.

Fantastic and comprehensive experience. It was like a Bangkok in a nutshell, so if you’re short on time it’s absolutely worth considering. Our guide William was amazing, very knowledgeable and attentive, made sure we got as much as we could from a one day trip. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect way to see Bangkok’s highlights if you only have one day free. The bus was comfortable and far more convenient than trying to navigate Bangkok and the surrounding area via taxi or rental car. Our tour guide Boeing was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour!

Mr Boing was a terrific guide. He was very friendly and shared his knowledge of Thai culture with us. The train market was an amazing experience and unlike anything I have ever seen. The floating market was great fun with many vendors selling delicious food. Our stop at the palm plantation was a lovely addition and nice insight into the industry. Ayutthaya was wonderful and Mr Boing did a wonderful job explaining the history and significance of the site.

We also loved the Thai snacks provided during the trip by Mr Boing and Mr Bang.

Our tour guide Boeing was very lively and informative. The tour was well planned and although you stop for only a short amount of time at each spot, I think it is a sufficient amount of time. If you would like to spend more time roaming around and taking in the sights for yourself, this may not be the best tour. But if you want to see the highlights just outside of Bangkok it is a great option. Female solo traveler friendly as well
