        Must do in Thailand
Na (guide) and Beera (driver) were very fun and took care of us very well! Took pictures for us and had lots of knowledge to share :) loved Erawan! had no idea it had the fish that nibbled dry skin. It was crazy at first haha but so funny and very nice once you get used to the tickling sensation. The pow camp was very interesting too very educational. I think this will definitely be a highlight of my time in bangkok!

        Great Day Trip!
My sisters and I had a great tour with our guide Na and driver Ber. It’s a bit of a drive from Bangkok but peaceful and interesting to watch out the window. We really enjoyed feeling and watching the fish in the Erawan fall pools…an unexpected natural spa treatment, though maybe not ideal if you dislike fish!! The JEATH museum and River Kwai Bridge were also very informative and Na gave us lots of additional info. Great for anyone who is interested in world war history but perhaps less familiar with the Pacific Theatre. I’m a history teacher so it’s given me some useful new content to share with students! Great trip overall.

        Loved this little adventure!
The 2-hour canal tour is the way to go since sometimes it can take a bit waiting for the canal to open. Joe, our tour guide, was great, very nice and informative. Commentary can be a little hard to hear if you are in the rear of the boat while it is going along. Especially loved the walk-about in the little canal shopping area; was introduced to mango sticky rice and haven’t stopped eating it since! Overall, loved this little adventure.

Great tour - would do again
Our tour guide was awesome. There were only 2 of us on the tour and my friend ended up not feeling well and leaving halfway through but our guide continued on with me and was so friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to see and learn about the main temples in the city for an excellent price.

        Ayutthaya Tour
This tour was enjoyable overall, with room for improvement. Our guide, Joyce, was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The best bits: - The 90-meter Buddha was awe-inspiring, and Joyce's explanations were insightful. - Watching the monkeys at Phra Prang Sam Yot was unique. - Watching the Buddha inside the three was a good experience. To be improved: - Water availability could be communicated earlier or offered throughout. - Feeding monkeys felt unnecessary and my personal opinion is that it could be reconsidered. - More meal options would enhance the experience for those with dietary restrictions. - Missing Wat Yai Chai Mongkol as was closed, this should communicated during booking or at the tour start. The tour is decent for those who enjoy cultural and historical highlights, but be aware that a significant portion of the time is spent traveling in the car, which may feel excessive compared to the number of temples visited let’s say we left the hotel at 7:40 am and came back around 16:30. I would say memorable but with potential for improvement!

This tour was absolutely great! When I booked it I just thought tul tuk and food….. yes, ideal. But it was so much more. My husband and I did this on our first night and it really gave us an overview of where to go on the following day, where things were in relation to other things. We sampled food we wouldn’t have tried and gave us the confidence to ride on a Tuk tuk and hop on and off boats. Our guide, Tak, was adorable. So patient and informative and he really looked after us. I completely recommend this tour to you.

I highly recommend the tour with the agency and guide Piya. The tour started at 10 a.m. and ended around 5 p.m. We visited three locations, and Piya continuously shared the history and cultural significance of each palace and temple, immersing us in their stories. Moreover, Piya had an excellent eye for photography, capturing stunning shots of us at the best spots—something we deeply appreciate, as we now have beautiful memories of this trip.

The tour does not include meals or entrance fees, but the agency informed us of this in advance via email, so we were well aware before booking. However, they kindly provided us with a bottle of cold water and took us to a local restaurant, where Piya helped us choose traditional Thai dishes.

I wholeheartedly recommend this tour if you’re in Bangkok and have a day to spare—it’s a must-do!

The guide gave a lot of background information, took photos for us and showed us the most interesting spots. The ride started on time and we were provided a 0,5L bottle of water. The food at the restaurant we visited was good, although I ate the same quality and better for a lower price very often. I ate chesper and better at some foodstands but I can understand that they need a more reliable alternative with reservated seats. This is why I gave 5 stars.

Maybe the guide could improve her charisma if she wouldn‘t add a „, yes“ at a lot of sentences. It was not annoying, I just noticed, everything else she handled with care and always gave good answers!

I booked the Ayutthaya Historical City day tour less than 24 hours prior to the start of the tour. The company was quick to send confirmation and details of where to meet up. During the tour itself, it was very smooth and well run. The driver was great even with the traffic. Our tour guide, Wan, was very knowledgeable about the history and areas she took us to. Also she is a great photographer which was a huge bonus for me as a solo traveler. I would definitely recommend this tour to other people who want to see the historical city of Ayutthaya while staying in Bangkok.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this tour.

Piya, our guide, was lovely and had lots of historical information, but the tour is poorly planned, misleading, and takes advantage of tourists.

I booked the 7:30am start time, assuming we’d be to Ayutthaya by 9 and see a few temples before lunch and the heat really set in.

We didn’t leave Bangkok til 9:30, then stopped at Bang Pa In Palace, which is on the itinerary, but is not what you expect when going to Ayutthaya. Better to remove that from the itinerary. It’s a waste of time and money.

We saw only one temple before lunch. They took us to an expensive restaurant with mediocre food and even worse service. We didn’t have a choice to eat elsewhere. I recommend the company pick a different restaurant or give tourists the option of several restaurants.

Then it was 1:30, miserably hot and we’d still only seen one temple.

The ruins are absolutely gorgeous, and I highly recommend seeing them. Just pick a different company or go in your own.

Our guide was lovely though and had great suggestions for good photo opportunities and encouraged us to have him take our photos on our own phones.

The tour company was organized and professional. They had a nice office in Bangkok where we waited for the shuttle. Our tour guide was punctual and friendly. The shuttle itself was adequate for 10 people and the driver handled the ride safely and comfortably, taking us from one stop to the next stop. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch in Ayutthaya along the river. The transportation between sites and a guide to walk us through each site were worth the money. The guide did not provide very much informational insight and perspective as I would've liked, but all other aspects of the tour were effective and well done.

"I had a fantastic time on the tour to the Historical City of Ayutthaya with Wandersiam Tour Company. The itinerary was well-planned, giving us the perfect amount of time at each site. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights into the city's rich history. The transportation was comfortable, and everything was organized seamlessly. While the drinking water provided was hot, which could be improved by offering cold water, it was still a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Ayutthaya. Great service all around!"

This review may be nothing close to what most people will say about this tour. Tour van and guide were good. The places itself were a mixed bag.

The 1st stop king’s palace was a disappointment. We just walked around the premises with the guide pointing to various buildings and describing the history and indulgences of the king’s lineage. 100 TBH

The king himself marries 5 times and has concubines but my knee length top and leggings up to mid calf where objectionable. 100 TBH for a PJ

2nd stop is a Stupa. Think of a memorial built by the king for a loved one and temple of Buddha. There is also a reclining Buddha. I think 50 TBH. No shade anywhere. Some value for money.

3rd stop ruins of Ayutthaya. It was hot sunny and sweaty. After seeing the Buddha head in between the tree roots and branches we were in a rush to walk through the ruins to get to a shady place.

Lunch Stop: nothing vegetarian for us

4th stop was queens palace and we gave it a pass.

5th stop was more ruins along with story about the kings’s indulgences. We gave that also a pass,

Pass means we rested in shade and saved on ticket price while co-passengers went and checked it out.

Got stuck in return traffic and got home completely exhausted but checked the box.

Sawadee kha. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that our Ayutthaya day tour was not up to your liking. When visiting palaces and important temples in Thailand, visitors are expected to dress appropriately and we also clearly mention this on the tour page and in the manual confirmation we sent after booking: no shorts, leggings, ripped jeans/torn pants, too tight clothes, revealing tops, and slippers, otherwise you won't be allowed in. A bit strange to compare the dress code with the number of concubines of a former king.... During the tour, we visit the main temple ruins in the former capital: Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and Wat Chaiwatthanaram. These temples, which played an important role in Siam’s history, cannot just be put away as filler. Anyhow, we are happy to hear that you were able to “tick the box” at the end of the day and hope you had a wonderful stay in Thailand!

We booked a tour at the regular price and were expecting to go with a group of 10 or so tourists to see Ayutthaya. Luckily for us we were the only two people who booked a tour that day and so we got a private tour with our guide Tim and our driver. This shows their commitment to providing great service.

Tim brought us treats, souvenirs and chilled Chinese herbal tea to give us an incredible start of our trip to Ayutthaya. Not only did we get to see all the listed locations but Tim gave us a lot of background knowledge on the sites we were seeing and she was always ready and nice about answering all of our questions - Ayutthaya related and otherwise!

We also received great food and Tim also invited us to a sweet treat!

A lot of effort, dedication and respect for the tourists is put into this tour and we definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to see Ayutthaya in a day!

      Thank you once again!

Guide is very good and knows her stuff and history very well. Started at 10am. There was no lunch break as guide said that starting at 10am is quite late so the group skipped lunch. It was quite tiring due to the heat and humidity. I recommend to have a heavy breakfast before the tour if you start at 10am. Have way through the tour all your food in the morning will be successfully digested

Our tour was amazing, and I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Tonya, was wonderful and did a great job of explaining the rich history of the palaces and temples we visited. Rest stops and restaurants were also sprinkled into the itinerary.

Although the drive was almost an hour out of Bangkok, the driver was very smooth and the van had AC and was quite comfortable.

Thank you for an amazing trip!
